Elden Ring DLC: Which Dungeons Present The Great Challenges For Players? - Top 7 Worst Dungeons
There are some dungeons in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree that have proved to be a real challenge for many players. In these cases, players are not only frustrated by the bosses themselves but also by the cleverly designed enemy groups or unique game mechanics that combine to create a rare and severe test.
Some areas in Shadow of the Erdtree stand out for their unsettling design, which creates a strong sense of unease. These areas cleverly use some familiar fantasy elements to lure players in and then give them a series of terrifying surprises that will make them want to escape to the more peaceful Site of Grace.
This guide will inspect the seven most frustrating dungeons and field areas in Shadow of the Erdtree.
7. Electric Sheep Plateau
These seemingly docile enemies appear harmless when watching from a distance, but when the player’s back is turned, they will launch a series of cunning rolling attacks to directly ram the player. Although the sheep-like enemies deal limited damage individually, they are much more threatening when they are in groups.
When players enter Shadow of the Erdtree, they will encounter a golden sheep, and a giant sheep, both located in Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace near the starting area of DLC. The giant sheep’s presence easily attracts the player’s attention and makes them ready to dodge potential attacks.
The giant sheep brings a new lightning attack, which players need to dodge with little warning. After defeating it, there is a chance to get Elden Ring Runes as a reward.
6. Belurat Well Depths
Poison swamps have been added to almost every game of FromSoftware development team, and they have become as iconic as Moonlight Greatsword. In Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, players will encounter the first poison swamp below Belurat, which is the first major dungeon players will encounter.
This area is filled with thick poisonous muck, and players have to shuttle between small outcroppings of rubble to avoid contact with these poisons. These poison swamps seem safe to pass from a distance, but they are actually very dangerous. This area is usually full of Man-Flies, as well as an Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
5. Ruined Forge Lava Intake
Ruined Forges is a new type of dungeons that isn’t particularly popular with players. The first time you encounter a Ruined Forge Lava Intake, it immediately greets you with its lava floor. But fortunately, you don’t need to traverse lava when exploring these Ruined Forges.
The adventure begins with encounters with stone golems, which can only be effectively damaged by attacking them from behind. In addition, there are magma slimes lurking on the ceiling, ready to drop down or ambush you if you enter unsuspectingly, so players often need to carefully navigate through narrow passages.
4. Stone Coffin Fissure
A large, fog-shrouded hole in the ground, lined with giant coffins that seem to be carved out of the stone walls, is Stone Coffin Fissure, a daunting scene for players. The descent itself is fairly easy with the help of Torrent’s double jump. But it’s inherently scary, and what lurks at the bottom is even worse.
Stone Coffin Fissure is actually sealed at the start of DLC, as if to warn players that they’re not ready for what’s inside. This challenge requires players to jump from high places and pass through Bloodfiends and Stone Caterpillars. Putrescent Knight lurks at the end, guarding St. Trina’s deadly secret.
3. Darklight Catacombs
Elden Ring emphasizes the cyclical nature of dungeons by reusing elements such as short staircases, white-flame braziers, and vaulted double doorways. Players might confidently walk into Darklight Catacombs in Scadu Altus, pry open the door, activate Site of Grace, and then find that the lights are all out after.
Most of Darklight Catacombs require traversing in almost complete darkness, which can cause a lot of confusion around. Players can relight the lights by finding levers hidden throughout Darklight Catacombs. Lanterns can also help illuminate the immediate area, but gargoyles often lurk out of sight until their fireballs hurtle by.
2. Rauh
Although players can see Rauh as early as Gravesite Plain, you have to travel through most of Shadow Keep to actually enter it. Once you arrive, the idyllic image of a mountaintop ruin is immediately shattered. Rauh is infested with bugs, including giant scorpions swarming through the once-hallowed halls, and Romina, Saint of the Bud, who waits in the deepest sanctum.
1. Finger Ruins Of Rhia
In Dark Souls, Bells of Awakening are usually sounded by striking a bronze instrument. In this scene, however, the sound of the bells comes from a different source. Rather than coming from a traditional percussion instrument, it comes from a uniquely designed stone device. This device consists of another stone finger, its surface riddled with holes, and it is hung upside down. To make sounds, Tarnished needs to blow air with his mouth instead of tapping as before.
These dungeons and wild areas are not just part of the game, they are also a test of the player’s skills, courage and determination. As players gradually unlock and conquer these areas, you will not only get satisfaction but also get a deeper experience in the game. Elden Ring DLC: How To Choo ...
Since the launch of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, it has been rated as the most difficult DLC in history by many players: some extremely difficult bosses and dazzling combat mechanisms make them feel that this game is too challenging. But there is a solution. You need to learn some combat skills and item selection skills. In combat, the most important thing is to ensure that your health is always within a safe range, and the safest thing is to increase your maximum health. Usually, the higher your maximum health, the stronger your ability to survive enemy attack spells and projectiles, and you also have a lot of room for error. In Shadow of the Erdtree, you are provided with a lot of items that can increase your maximum health, such as armor and talismans. This guide will introduce you to several best options. You can choose one or more to combine according to your usage habits or game style. Come and take a look! Crimson Amber Medallion +3 You can find 4 Crimson Amber Medallions in the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The default version can increase your maximum health by 6%, followed by 7% and 8%, and the most powerful +3 version can directly increase it by 10%. This is far beyond the reach of many armors, and this talisman, unlike Great Runes, has no drawbacks or caveats, making it the best choice for your build when facing enemies that can be hard hit you. But it should be noted that Crimson Amber Medallion +3 can only be found in the DLC. You can go to Fog Rift Catacombs and defeat Death Knight boss and then find it in its loot. If you just want this talisman as a supplement to your build, you can look for Crimson Amber Medallion +2 in Ashen Capital Leyndell in the base game, which is enough. Morgott’s Great Rune Of all Elden Ring Items that increase your maximum health, Morgott’s Great Rune is the clear winner, as it increases your health by 25%. This means that when you’re fighting a long battle with an enemy, your high health will give you more chances to defeat them, and it will also make it more likely that you’ll get the final Elden Ring Runes bonus. But it should be noted that this bonus is ideal when you have other health-increasing buffs, equipment, and spells in your build. If you focus your entire build on health before a fight, you’ll be invincible. Also, like the other Great Runes, Morgott’s Great Rune requires a Rune Arc before each activation, which can be a bit cumbersome, but if you think about the benefits that Morgott’s Great Rune brings to you, I believe you’ll understand its importance. Erdtree’s Favor +2 Although Erdtree’s Favor +2 only provides you with a 4% increase in maximum health, it doesn’t seem to be outstanding, but that’s not the point. This talisman also grants you an extra 10% Stamina and 8% Equip Load. These bonuses make it a versatile and valuable talisman for a wide range of builds. You can combine Erdtree’s Favor +2 with Radahn’s Great Rune to get a significant boost to both Health and Stamina. Best of all, it weighs only 1.5, making it lighter than regular armor, making it very easy to equip. You’ll find a large courtyard in Ashen Capital Leyndell, and within it is a tree guarded by three Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirits. The Erdtree’s Favor +2 is in that tree. If you don’t want to fight the little monsters, you can just run up to this talisman and run away immediately. If you want to farm some Elden Ring Runes here, you can do so as the Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirits will also drop these rewards. Radahn’s Great Rune Among Runes can be equipped, Radahn’s Great Rune is the most powerful and a favorite among high-level players - not only does it increase your health by 15%, it also increases your Stamina by 15%. This is why you can use it in conjunction with Erdtree’s Favor +2 talisman, which together will significantly increase these key attributes. Like Morgott’s Great Rune, you need to use a Rune Arc before using Radahn’s Great Rune. Radahn’s Great Rune is one trophy you get from the battle against Starscourge Radahn in Caelid, which is also one of the most challenging missions in the DLC, as you need to navigate a very dangerous platform to reach the top of the arena. Fire Knight Helm Fire Knight Helm first appeared in Elden Ring DLC, and is one of the few armor pieces in the base game and DLC that directly increases your total health. It gives you 2% more max health, plus 5% more Stamina and 4% more Equip Load, making it a versatile Elden Ring Item. Compared to the previous talismans, Fire Knight Helm also provides you with a solid protection - strong resistance to physical and fire damage. If you want an item that can both protect you and increase key attributes, Fire Knight Helm is the best. And compared to the previous items, Fire Knight Helm is a little more difficult to obtain, requiring you to challenge Fire Knights in Shadow Keep repeatedly until one of them drops it. But you can also get other parts of Fire Knight Armor Set from it, which is also very useful. The above are the items in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC that can increase your maximum health and enhance your survivability. If you have better options, you are welcome to share them with many players in iGMeet Discord. I wish you a merry game in this interesting game!Sep-18-2024

Elden Ring: The Best Strate ...
Achieving immortality in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is more possible than you might expect. And Great Stars are one of the ideal tools to achieve this goal. This unique weapon restores your health with each use. Not only does it deal massive damage if used properly, it can also help keep your Tarnished away from death. The best thing about this weapon is that it motivates players to attack aggressively when appropriate, or to choose an Ash of War that can attack in rapid succession. Here is a detailed guide on how to build this pointy hammer. Pros And Cons Of Great Stars Great Star is a unique Great Hammer that restores 1% of your max HP with each attack. While the basic Great Hammer move can be a bit boring because of its slow swing and limited vertical tap range, its heavy attacks hit in a large arc, and any Ash of War attached to this weapon can also trigger its healing effect. The limited range of the vertical light swings can be a little annoying, but once you get used to where they land, these attacks are still fast enough to hit most opponents. Great Stars heal you for 1% of your max HP with each hit. Any Ash of War equipped with this weapon also triggers its healing effect. While the vertical light swings are limited, once you get used to where these attacks land, you’ll find that they come out fast enough to hit most enemies. This weapon has two major features: First, players can find two of the same weapon in the same game, making it ideal for dual-wielding (powerstancing) strategies, as players can get double the healing and status effect build-up. Second, it is the only Great Hammer that inflicts Bleed on enemies. In combat, combined with Raptor’s Black Feathers and Claw Talisman, players can quickly defeat powerful enemies. In addition, because of its inherent bleeding effect, it can be used with any elemental effect without losing its bleeding properties. Given the many advantages of Great Stars, this weapon has become an ideal choice for players who pursue efficient combat and resource management. On this basis, using Elden Ring Runes to further optimize your character build can significantly improve your gaming experience and combat efficiency. In addition, there is a gift channel for this game in iGMeet discord, which will release product gift information from time to time. Remember to be active in the discord group. Best Shields With Great Stars While powerstancing can effectively enhance healing and status effects, using a shield in the off-hand to block attacks is also an effective strategy for use with Great Stars. The core of this strategy is to choose a large shield or a shield with chief defense and excellent attributes to resist enemy attacks. No matter how many times you suffer damage during blocking, you can restore your health by counterattacking. Great Shields are preferred for this strategy, as you can avoid taking too much damage with your shield, and the little health you lose can be easily restored with Great Stars. Medium Shields are also a good choice if you’re willing to take a more aggressive approach when healing is needed. For specific shields to consider, Fingerprint Stone Shield and the more easily available DLC-cousin, Verdigris Greatshield are both great choices, as they have high guard boost and 100% physical resistance. Among Medium Shields, Brass Shield and Wolf Crest Shield are very close to Great Shields, both of which provide high Guard Boost and 100% physical resistance, meaning you can defend yourself against almost unlimited physical attacks. Alternatively, Carian Knight’s Shield with a Greatshield Talisman also performs well when used, and is particularly good at blocking Holy and Magic attacks, although its modest defense boost can sometimes limit the shield’s performance. Best Ashes Of War And Infusions With Great Stars Ashes Of War Ash of War: Prelate’s Charge Ash of War: Wild Strikes Ash of War: Chilling Mist Ash of War: Cragblade Infusions Cold Heavy Blood Since Great Stars have the innate bleed and passive healing, you should use three different infusions in your build, including Bleed, Cold, or Heavy for raw damage. For Ashes of War, you want anything that can hit multiple times to get as much healing as possible. Since you already benefit from fast, repeated attacks, applying status effects like Cold or Bleed will also fit perfectly into your build. Cold builds will use Cold infusion, and use Cragblade or Chilling Mist for Ashes of War. With Chilling Mist, you can heal yourself with each attack; while Cragblade provides a steady medium damage output. Additionally, Frostbite triggers to deal 10% damage based on the target’s maximum health (7% for boss enemies), and also increases the target’s damage taken by 20%. When used in conjunction with Great Stars, these abilities combine to significantly increase the weapon’s overall damage output. Bleed builds will feature either Blood or Heavy infusion, with either Wild Strikes or Cragblade as Ashes of War. Blood is the better choice if you don’t invest more points in Strength than is necessary to equip the weapon. However, if you’re looking to give your swings more power and rely solely on Hemorrage triggers for the extra damage and all the benefits it brings, Heavy infusion is a better choice. Regardless of which infusion you choose, White Mask, Blood God’s Exultation, and Bloodflame Flame Blade are key damage-boosting items that can take your damage output from mediocre to devastating enough to destroy average foot soldiers and demigods alike. Best Stats With Great Stars Ideally, you should focus on Strength to maximize your damage output, or, if you want to maximize bloodloss damage, then you should focus on Arcane. To ensure that each swing deals maximum damage, reaching 80 Strength is ideal. With Bleed builds, you’ll want around 45 to 50 points of Arcane to reach the softcap. Beyond that, you can allocate additional points to Strength, Vigor, and Endurance. So embark on your journey with Great Stars and let its power guide you through the challenges of Shadow of the Erdtree in Elden Ring.Aug-04-2024

Elden Ring: A Complete Guid ...
One of the newest Katanas in Shadow of the Erdtree, Star-Lined Sword, is known for its unique skill attack combination. If you’re looking to build an effective build for this Katana, don’t miss this guide. Here we’ll go over the playstyle for this Cosmic Samurai Build, the gear to use, the best Talismans, and tips for using the game. Let’s get straight to it! Build Basics First, let’s go over the basics of this build. Cosmic Samurai is unique in terms of gameplay, as this build utilizes Damage Overtime Tactics while also utilizing Star-Lined Sword’s skills to perform hard-hitting combos. You’ll see fast high damage numbers when performing combos. It’s also versatile in a lot of situations because of having more ranged spells on its gear. Stats Cosmic Samurai has high Dexterity and Intelligence, and as usual has a little Faith Stat to use spells that enhance attack and defense. Let’s take a look at how the attribute points are distributed for this build: First start with Vigor. I have allocated 45 points to it because you need to dodge properly with this setup. However, if you think this is too low, you can increase it to 50, especially if your Scadutree Blessing is low. Next is Mind, which has 35 points allocated to it, because when using this build, you will be casting a lot of spells and skills, so you need to allocate at least 35 points and above. Next comes Endurance, which has 25 points allocated to it. The unique skill of Star-Lined Sword consumes a lot of stamina, but I think 25 points is enough. You need 10 points of Strength to use Star-Lined Sword, so be sure to allocate at least 10 points. Next up is Dexterity, and since this is our key attribute, it is assigned 69 points. While keeping an eye on Intelligence, another 60 points should be invested here so that our Sorceries can wreak havoc on our enemies. Next up is Faith, with 25 points allocated to Faith so that you can use attack and defense boosting spells to increase the offensive capabilities of the build. Finally, we didn’t assign any points to Arcane because we didn’t need to. Gear Now that the basic playstyle and build stats are covered, let’s move on to Cosmic Samurai’s gear. Main Weapon: Star-Lined Sword Starting with the chief weapon for this build, the aforementioned Star-Lined Sword. This Katana requires 10 Strength, 23 Dexterity and 21 Intelligence so that you can use it properly. In terms of scaling, it has a Strength of D, Dexterity of B, and finally Intelligence of D. This is why we focus on Dexterity in the stat distribution, while having Intelligence will further boost the power of this Katana. In addition, it has an innate blood-loss build-up, which is a delightful bonus. It just shouldn’t be prioritized. Weapon Skill: Onze’s Line Of Stars Star-Lined Sword is indeed an interesting Katana because it is able to perform a heavy-hitting combo attack when performing Onze’s Line of Stars. This is a unique skill that allows the user to perform a series of attacks, up to three combos, when L2 button is pressed. Secondary Weapon: Carian Regal Scepter Moving on to the secondary weapon of this build, I used Carian Regal Scepter mainly because of its appearance and because it fits the theme of this build. It also has an S scaling in terms of Intelligence, and we can also use it to boost the effectiveness of our Sorceries. In addition, we can also access the attack buff of this build by using Finger Seal, which only costs you 800 Elden Ring Runes. Pros And Cons Next, let’s talk about the pros and cons of this Star-Lined Sword. There’s no doubt that the entire heavy-hitting combo will hit the enemy like a truck when the user manages to do it. Since this skill increases its effectiveness after each subsequent attack, anyone can see the amazing range of Onze’s Line of Stars, especially when performing the skill’s combo finisher. This skill can also make ordinary enemies flinch easily when you cleave with its ranged attacks, especially when dealing with humanoid-type targets. This makes this weapon a satisfying weapon to use in the field or in dungeons. Ordinary enemies can barely do anything to this weapon, so you’ll have the upper hand in most cases, and clearing enemies is a breeze for this weapon. Of course, like any other weapon, it also has its drawbacks. Onze’s Line of Stars is definitely powerful, but it’s difficult to complete the long attack animation in most cases. Its combo transitions are quite slow, so there are situations where humanoid-type enemies can act or counterattack even when you’re performing a full combo. I was surprised to find that Sword of Night’s fully charged attack is much easier to pull off than Onze’s full combo, so you can see how long the preparation time is. Also, since its attacks get stronger after consecutive follow-ups, its initial attack is pretty weak. Especially since you’ll be using the first set of attacks most of the time, and that’s the only thing you can do, especially against fast-moving targets. If you want to extend your combo, you’ll be under attack from enemies most of the time, so you can only perform the initial L2 attack. You can easily see that this skill is difficult to maximize, especially when the bosses in DLC are very aggressive and don’t leave you a little time to counterattack. Spells Enough with the weapons. Let’s move on to the spells I recommend. As always, our top pick is Flame Grant me Strength, which grants an additional 20% physical attack boost and stamina recovery buff. The second buff in the list is of course Golden Vow. This buff increases overall damage by 15% and adds 10% damage negation, which is very helpful. Since this build revolves around the power of stars, Stars of Ruin is a great fit for this build. This is a rechargeable spell that will serve as the main area attack for this build. Additionally, I recommend inserting Founding Rain of Stars, which adds a lot of fun to this build. What I usually do is cast it before the target gets close to me, and when it explodes, it rains stars on the target, dealing continuous damage. It is worth noting that you can use Onze while Sorcery is still active. It easily increases the damage. However, only use this combo if you are confident that you can pull it off, as its usage varies from boss to boss. Talismans For the best Talismans for this build, Shard of Alexander is still our top pick. This can increase skill damage by 15%, especially when performing Onze’s Line of Stars. Since Onze’s Line of Stars leaves you vulnerable, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is a great addition to this build. Its 20% damage reduction can increase your chances of survival, especially if your Scadutree Blessing is low. I still use Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Millicent’s Prosthesis combo, because I prefer to deal with super high-attack damage when successfully executing Onze’s full combo. But you can always replace Millicent’s Prosthesis with Magic Scorpion Charm to deal more damage. Armor Set Now that the main gear is done, let’s move on to Cosmic Samurai’s Armor Set. For this build, I’m wearing Land of Reeds Helm to preserve the identity of the build, and the rest are Oathseeker’s armor pieces. It really gives a space samurai feel, not to mention that this armor looks really cool in terms of details. Gameplay Finally, let’s talk about the gameplay and optimization tips for this Cosmic Samurai Build. Optimize Your Opener The first tip on the list is to optimize your opener as usual. Before or at the start of a fight, I usually cast Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength. This is followed by popping my Flask of Wondrous Physick for an overall attack boost and dealing as much damage as possible in this burst opener. Use Onze’s Line Of Stars Wisely Next, I must remind you to use Onze’s Line of Stars wisely. As mentioned above, the full combo of this skill is difficult to pull off, and it is wise to stick to the skill’s first attack animation and rely on it instead of doing normal attacks. Depending on who the boss you are facing, mastering this skill takes time and patience. When you use this build, you will know when to perform its full combo, mostly when the enemy is staggered or doing an attack with a long recovery time. Switch Talisman Appropriately When your Scadutree Blessing is high enough, you can swap out Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for something like Graven-Mass Talisman to increase the effectiveness of your sorcery. Regardless, Cosmic Samurai is a fun build, especially when exploring. By following this guide, you will be able to use it to its full potential and help you gain a foothold in Elden Ring DLC!Jul-10-2024

Elden Ring: A Detailed Guid ...
Richter Belmont is one of the most iconic Castlevania characters ever to appear in Elden Ring. If you want to get a better start playing as him in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which releases on June 21, then this guide is for you. Here we’ll go over Richter Belmont’s play style, gear to use, and the best Talismans to complete this build, as well as tips for using the game and more. Let’s get straight into it! Basics Of The Build Richter Belmont is a descendant of the powerful Belmont Clan, and he wields the legendary Vampire Killer, one of the deadliest weapons in the cleansing of Dracula’s legion. For this build, Richter relies heavily on hard-hitting incantations to deal as much damage as possible, while also having the ability to be agile in combat. If the enemy is resistant to Holy damage, Richter will use whips to make the enemy bleed, making him a well-rounded fighter. Richter Belmont has high Faith and Dexterity. You will be using spell combinations to deal a lot of damage to your enemies, especially when fighting humanoid-type enemies. Weapons Now that the basic play style is covered, let’s move on to Richter Belmont’s equipment. But before we dive in, I will not include all of his possible original movesets, such as his Throwing Axe, Holy Water, so that the build still flows well. Having so many spells and weapons on a build would make it unwieldy to use, so I limited it while trying to maintain the identity of the build. Hoslow’s Petal Whip With that said, let’s start with Richter’s major weapon, which is without a doubt Hoslow’s Petal Whip. We are trying to mimic his Vampire Killer Whip, so Hoslow’s Petal Whip, Giant’s Red Braid, and Regular Whip are the best Whips for the job. If you want to use it effectively, you need 10 Strength, 20 Dexterity, and it scales mostly based on the above stats. Bloodhound’s Step Besides that, it’s a natural Bloodloss Build, which is a huge plus for this build. Hoslow’s Whip is incorporated into Bloodhound’s Step to mimic his quick dash from Castlevania Symphony of Night, allowing him to gracefully dodge enemy attacks and counterattack with his whip with ease. I recommend setting it to Keen Hoslow Whip, though, as we’ll be buffing it later. Erdtree Seal Moving on to his secondary weapon. Since we’ll be using spells, I decided to go with Erdtree Seal. It scales well overall, and it looks like Richter is carrying a cross that fits the theme. This Seal requires 40 Faith to use effectively, which isn’t a problem for Richter. Of course, you can also choose some better Seals, but that’s also more demanding on your Elden Ring Runes budget. Incantations Next, let’s look at Incantations required for this build. Golden Vow The first Incantation in the list is Golden Vow, which increases your damage by 15% and adds 10% damage negation across the board. Since Whip usually needs a damage boost and also increases the damage of spells, Golden Vow is highly recommended for this build. And the cross-like graphic provided by Golden Vow matches Richter’s identity very well. Bloodflame Blade Next is Bloodflame Blade spell. Vampire Killer emits light, and most of the time it applies burning and explosion to enemies, so Bloodflame Blade is the best choice for this job. Not only will it grant whip fire damage and make the whip glow, but it will also help Richter trigger Hemorrhage faster. Discus Of Light One of Belmont’s signature sub-weapons is the cross, which they throw like Boomerangs, and it returns to the user’s hand after throwing. With this idea in mind, I decided to use Discus of Light because it is the closest spell when it comes to emulating Cross Sub-weapon. Discus of Light may seem weak at first glance, but just like Cross Sub-weapon, when Discus returns, it will deal damage to the target twice. If the user is experienced enough, consecutive casts of Discus of Light will deal considerable damage. Aspects Of The Crucible: Horns Moving on to the next spell, which is Aspects of the Crucible: Horns. Richter will perform a charge attack using a whip or kicking enemies. Since Martial Arts are not yet available in the game, I decided to slot in Aspects of the Crucible: Horns. This spell will mimic the mentioned charge attack, and can deal stance damage to the target or even send the target flying, especially against humanoid type ones. I tend to use this spell when closing the distance to the target, and it can be a deadly spell when paired with Wrath of Gold, as stun locks can be inflicted. Wrath Of Gold The next spell is Wrath of Gold, which is Richter’s strongest damage spell. Note that both Aspects of the Crucible: Horns and Wrath of Gold can be charged to deal more damage. Compared to the previous spell, Wrath of Gold is easier to use because of its close-range AOE. We usually use it when dealing with a large group of enemies, or use it as a counterspell in boss fights. Talismans With weapons and spells out of the way, it’s time to look at Richter’s Talismans. The first Talisman on the list is Sacred Scorpion Charm. Since Richter relies on Wrath of Gold for damage, the extra 12% Holy damage provided by this Talisman will be beneficial to this build. In exchange, physical damage taken is increased by 10%. Next up is Godfrey Icon, which increases the charged attack of spells and abilities by 15%. The extra charge attack damage provided by this Talisman applies to your Aspects of the Crucible: Horns and Wrath of Gold, making them very effective in combat. Next up is Flock’s Canvas Talisman. This Talisman further increases the damage of our offensive spells by 8%, and it stacks with your other buffs, so I highly recommend slotting this one. The last one is Green Turtle Talisman, which increases stamina recovery. This is one of the main Talismans we use, because my gameplay and strategy always revolves around ultra-aggressive strategies, so most of the time, my stamina is completely depleted. Therefore, the faster my stamina recovers, the more damage we can do to the enemy. For Richter, he will benefit greatly from this, because you will find yourself always needing stamina, and continuously launching his most deadly combos will usually consume 70% to 80% of his stamina. Stats Moving on to Richter Belmont’s stats. Note that I will standardize all of my builds at around level 200. It is up to you if you want to upgrade your build above 200. Starting with Vigor, 40 points have been allocated to it, feel free to increase it to 45 to 50 if you feel you need more HP to survive. Since we’ll be using Godrick’s Great Rune later anyway, I rarely invest a lot of points into Vigor. Next up is Mind, which has 35 points assigned to it. Since this is FP-hungry build, setting up buffs while constantly using spells will definitely deplete your FP in a short period of time. Talking about Endurance next, we’ve assigned 33 points to it since a lot of stamina is needed when dealing with continuous spells or a lot of whip attacks. 33 points of Endurance can sometimes feel insufficient, so feel free to adjust it to 40 if you feel it’s necessary. At least 10 points in Strength so that you can use Hoslow’s Petal Whip. The next stats on the list are Dexterity and Faith, which are the main stats in this build. I recommend setting Dexterity to at least 61 and Faith to 75 to help you deal a decent amount of damage in whip attacks and spells. If you’re really good at the game, you can sacrifice your Vigor points and allocate them to Endurance and more Faith to get a more ideal result. Finally, make sure you have at least 10 Arcane to use Bloodflame Blade and 13 Intelligence to meet Discus of Light requirement. Gameplay Now that stats are out of the way, let’s move on to Richter Belmont’s gameplay and optimization tips. Optimize Your Opener Burst The first tip on the list is to optimize your Opener Burst. When the fight starts, I usually start by casting Flask of Wondrous Physick, which can deal more holy and physical damage if you have Thorny Cracked Tear slotted in. Next is to cast Golden Vow to deal more damage, then cast Bloodflame Blade. Depending on the boss, I’ll either prepare a spell combo or keep whipping attacks until I bleed. During this time, do your best to counter as many attacks as possible to take advantage of the stacking holy damage buff. Incantation Combo The next tip is to take advantage of Richter’s incantation combo, especially when against humanoid types of enemies. To start the above combo, you can use Discus of Light multiple times to disrupt and lure the enemy, even dealing damage in the process, and follow up with a fully charged Aspects of the Crucible: Horns. If the enemy is hit, it will fly into the air and hit the ground, giving you enough time to perform your next killer move, which is a fully charged Wrath of Gold. It will knock the target back further, and then you can finish it off with a whip jump attack and follow up with a normal whip combo. If this move is used correctly, not only will the enemy take a lot of damage, but it will also allow you to build up blood loss in the process. Mastering Whip Line For some people, using the whip can be a challenging task. Two attacks are usually safe in most cases, while three attacks will get you into trouble most of the time. Therefore, I strongly recommend intentionally using whip attacks to master Whip line. Are you a fan of Richter like me? Do you like this character build?
