Elden Ring DLC: How To Build The Best Build Around Anvil Hammer? - Tips & Matching Items
Anvil Hammer is a new weapon added in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and it is also a very powerful weapon. As a Colossal Weapon, its moves are relatively slow, but its excellent damage data and high AOE damage make up for this shortcoming.
Before you use Anvil Hammer, you need to make sure you have enough skill points to invest in Strength. only then can the Anvil Hammer reach its full potential. If you haven’t figured out how to build the best build for it, follow the steps in this guide and build the best build for various situations you encounter step by step.
Strengths And Disadvantages
Overall, the biggest power of Anvil Hammer is that it can cause a lot of Stagger Damage, coupled with high Poise Damage, which allows you to break most bosses’ postures in a simple 2-3 normal attacks.
It is worth mentioning that with Hammer category of weapons, whether you use a light swing, a heavy attack, or a charged attack, every swing can break the enemy’s posture. You can use this type of weapon to face some hard-to-lock bosses in the DLC, such as Curseblades or Fire Knights, who will faint on the ground after you hit them.
Having talked about the advantages, now let’s talk about the disadvantages. In addition to being too heavy and only being able to perform slow moves, there are really no other disadvantages. But you can help reduce the impact of this weakness through subsequent stat allocation or matching Elden Ring Items.
Stats Allocation
As mentioned earlier, Strength and Faith are the two most important attributes of Anvil Hammer. However, in terms of priority, Strength is more important than Faith. Besides these two stats, you also need to invest a little in Intelligence and Dexterity, but these two stats will not affect the damage output of the weapon, so you can choose.
The remaining stats should be used on Vigor to increase your health. Or you can choose to put it on Endurance to help you increase endurance and weight. In addition, investing 25 in Mind can get more value from this weapon’s skill Smithing Art Spears, because it only costs 18 FP.
Once you’re over level 150, you can focus on Strength and get it to 80, Faith to 60, and Vigor to 60. If gear load-out becomes an issue, it’s also a good idea to prioritize Endurance until you find a better with your armor of choice.
Best Talismans
Using Anvil Hammer with both hands will trigger Two-Handed Sword Talisman, which will help you increase your damage by 15%. For Shard of Alexander, you can use Ash of War Smithing Art Spears to burst out critical hits. This will allow you to end the fight more easily and obtain Elden Ring Runes faster.
Two-Headed Turtle Talisman is a quality-of-life addition that allows you to restore your stamina at a very amazing rate, which will help you in some long-term battles.
The above are your must-haves, but you can also choose some amulets for special combat situations. For example, Crimson Seed Talisman +1 will increase the amount of healing you receive from Flasks by 30%, which can help you when Vigor exceeds 60. In addition, if you plan to use Anvil Hammer and some shields for guard counterattacks, then Curved Sword Talisman is definitely your best choice.
Best Incantations
First, since it is a Faith-based build, Golden Vow and Flame, Grant me Strength are the best choices, because they can directly enhance your damage output and resistance. In addition, I want to tell you that Anvil Hammer is one of the few weapons in the game that has fire damage, so after you use these Incantations to enhance it, your fire damage will be immeasurable.
For other Incantations, you can choose Electrocharge, so that you can passively enhance the damage when you use Anvil Hammer with two hands. Or Pest-Thread Spears can also provide you with a can’t miss ranged option, which is an easy way to deal with some agile enemies.
Best Seal
In fact, the choice of Seal is closely related to the choice of Incantations. If you don’t want to keep switching, you can directly choose Clawmark Seal, because it is very useful for both Strength and Faith builds.
Best Crystal Tears
In Elden Ring DLC, Flask of Wondrous Physick is mainly used in some tough boss battles to increase your chances of winning the battle. With this in mind, you can choose these two Crystal Tears to help you complete the battle.
When you use Deflecting Hardtear, your spontaneous defense in the hybrid physics will be significantly increased, and it will last for 5 minutes. When you choose Greenspill Crystal Tear, your stamina in the hybrid physics will be temporarily increased for 3 minutes.
You can also use your usual Crystal Tears instead of Greenspill Crystal Tear, which will have a different effect, but the 15% increase in base stamina will leave you with a little stamina after you are hit, which you may be able to used to counterattack or even defeat the enemy directly.
After reading this guide, have you opened your game and decided to change your build? Hopefully, you can use Anvil Hammer effectively in combat and explore Elden Ring DLC! Elden Ring DLC: The Weakene ...
The latest update Elden Ring 1.14 changes the difficulty of the last boss Promised Consort Radahn, making this previously daunting boss accompanied with overwhelming easier to challenge and conquer. As we all know, FromSoftware is known for its challenging boss fights like Artorias, Nameless King, and Orphan of Kos, but the latest DLC is even more challenging, and the terrifying difficulty has refused mountains rookies and gain much complaints among fans. Therefore, here comes the chance for those medium players who are terrified by its horrible challenge difficulty, and if you are interested in fighting strangers, patch 1.14 also has provided some PvP and general balance adjustments for you. However, most players are not satisfied with the adjustment of the difficulty of the final boss challenge, but are more annoyed because they think it is a betrayal of the original intention of the game. The Details Of Update 1.14 The latest update has made some changes to PvP-exclusive balance adjustments in the aspects of equipment and skills. When fighting with other players, the damage that Backhand Blades, Spears, and Pata deal will be decreased. And headshot damage animation will not appear when using Spread Crossbow to attack another players as well. Here are some major updates and bug fixes for your reference: Adjusted the action pattern and attack moves when the battle kicks off. Decreased the damage of some attacks. Decreased stamina damage of some attacks. Decreased the attack range of some non-weapon-based attacks. Enhanced the visibility of some attack effects. As to a nightmare for many players to deal with, Promised Consort Radahn’s combat capabilities have also been nerfed significantly. And noticeably enhance the performance of some specific equipments like swords and spells which has disappointed players in the previous battles. Now comes the chance to embrace those Elden Ring Items to enhance your strength. And boss Rellana may be the biggest winner of this update, whose complete suite of equipment has appropriately been buffed to the moon. The Weakened Promised Consort Radahn Has Invited Complaints Promised Consort Radahn has been a nightmare for many players in the first stage, not to mention the addition of Miquella in the later phrase. This directly makes normal battles more crazy and difficult. But as the hardest boss to deal with in the entire game, many players would rather fail in battle after battle than see Radahn weakened, because this would make the challenge meaningless, which contributes to the oldest argument about Souls games in existence. This complaint is mainly concentrated among those Souls veterans, who believe in the principle of continuing to challenge and become worthy after repeated failures. According to the feedback of a player, as a Souls veteran with more than ten years of experience, he could almost always kill those powerful bosses with one hit in the early journey of DLC with the help of a well-optimized bleed build whose level is more than 400. He took invading other players as fun and said he couldn’t remember the last time he failed. Then it was such a powerful player who was beaten and fled by this boss when he came up against the reborn Radahn at the very end. Although indulging in endless depression and loss at the beginning, he was finally inspired to make enough preparation for claiming a victory next time, such as to collect some of Scadutree Fragments. In the process of careful planning for a normal battle, he got endless satisfaction. However, this satisfaction is deprived by the weaken of Radahn. This made the battle lose its original meaning. This view is supported by most game fans. The Significance To Make Preparation For Fighting Last Boss In addition to the challenge significance mentioned above, it is also necessary to consider the setting of the entire game. It is designed to collect more Scadutree Fragments scattered all over the map to help defeat the ultimate boss. Because this increases your exploration journey, and you will get to know what’s happened to Miquella and why Shadowlands are designed like this. So many revelations hide in DLC are waiting for you to disclose and many of them are jaw-dropping. Along the way to discover Scadutree Fragments, St. Trina's quest and the unbelievable story that happened in Cathedral of Manus Metyr will be revealed, the truth about Mohg be disclosed, and Marika’s childhood village be found. These fascinating stories and settings are also the meaning of the normal game, not just simply defeating a boss. Finally, when Scadutree Fragments have reached its perfect states, and burden the plea of St. Trina’s with a new Katana in your hands, it is the death of Promised Consort Radahn. Because many players think that this weakening betrays the original intention of the game, because players will most likely skip the step of collecting Scadutree Fragments and kill the last boss directly, and also miss the very exciting plot in the journey. The above is about the weakening of Promised Consort Radahn and the discussion caused by it. Elden Ring DLC: The Horribl ...
When it comes to the lore in the game, it is estimated that no other game can have as many complex and profound lore and secrets as Elden Ring, which consists of one feature of the game. Elden Ring provides amounts of theories and backstories as the material to discuss, such as the true form of Mohg’s weapon. Elden Ring developers are always accustomed to hide mysterious elements and horrible details when designing characters. This enhances the eerie atmosphere of the game. The complex weapon design in the game also attracts players’ enthusiastic curiosity. Some players even spend hundreds of hours exploring the details of some weapons and characters. For example, there are still some players exploring the reason why Roundtable Hold burns, how overwhelming Morgott really is, as well as that Marika possibly served herself as food to a snake. Now, some details about Mohg’s Sacred Spear have been excavated by players, and then they have discovered its unusualness. For example, some players think that the spear was molten and can not be viewed as a human form as before. Let’s take a look at the terrifying details of Mohg’s Sacred Spear. The Description Of Mohg And His Sacred Spear Here comes the detailed description of Mohg. Mohg, Lord of Blood, defines as a Demigod Boss within Elden Ring base game, who uses a trident-like spear to perform ferocious attacks. If you encounter him in the game and find him tricky to deal with, it is recommended to devote some Elden Ring Runes to refine your builds or get more powerful weapons. Mohg is an optional boss in the base game resides in Mohgwyn Palace, mainly performing Bloodflame magic. Players must defeat Mohg to unlock Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Based on the still life, this spear seems to be covered in tiny bodies. According to a post by a player on Reddit, this trident spear is obviously layered with faceless, humanoid forms that seem to be sucked into the blade and mixed together, bearing the pattern like a dripping matter. In the game, the description of this spear is roughly as follows: Trident of Mohg, Lord of Blood. A sacred spear that will come as a symbol of his dynasty. Players Astonished By Mohg’s Sacred Spear Some time ago, there was no discussion about the horror of this spear. Although there was a discussion about what Mohg’s Sacred Spear was covered with, it was considered being melted wax running down the blades. Now, as more horrific details are excavated, the genuine horror of Mohg’s Sacred Spear is gradually discovered. According to player feedback, Mohg’s Sacred Spear is as terrifying as Mohg, who bears a ghastly face of horns accompanied by a bulky stature. Moreover, his intricate robes together with grand pauldron also define him. According to the discovery of a Reddit user, Mohg’s Sacred Spear is inundated by small nude bodies. This view shocked many players. Some people also compared it to Enir Ilim, the symbol of power. Currently, there are very limited resources about the legend of Mohg’s Sacred Spear. Although it has only been noticed now, it has undoubtedly aroused the players’ enthusiastic curiosity and imagination. It is precisely such countless details that have created such a great game. The above is the sharing of the horror details of Mohg’s Sacred Spear that has sparked heated discussions recently. If you have ever fought against Mohg’ in the game, I believe you will also be very interested in this detail. Elden Ring DLC: How To Make ...
In Elden Ring Patch 1.13 released some time ago, Golem Fist has become a new favorite among players because the heavy attack of this weapon has a second hit box! Now, at the right range, your heavy attack will attack twice instead of once. This allows you to deal with more damage at close range. But you can’t just use it. You will find that when preparing a build around Golem Fist, you also need to consider the weaknesses and some failures of this weapon. Don’t panic, this guide will list the items you need to prepare and some information you need to know before building a build for it. Golem Fist Pros And Cons First, let’s introduce Golem Fist, which is a new weapon added in Shadow of the Erdtree. You can find it in Ruined Forge of Taylew. Although it has normal boxing-oriented attacks, its unique feature is that it can stand up and fire projectiles. It can be used whether you are charging or not charging, and it does not use your FP. However, it is important to remind you that the damage that Golem Fist can deal is relatively small, but you can use it to hit some large enemies that are not too far away from you. But you can disrupt their rhythm in front of enemies using spells, or add more status effects. As for the low damage just mentioned, after Patch 1.13, Golem Fist can now deal enough damage to allow you to fight some medium-difficulty bosses. Although it will be challenging to use it in PVP because the projectile’s ability to track enemies is poor, the high damage of the heavy attack can still use Golem Fist to fight some enemies that are very close. When used on a boss, as long as you can complete the charge of the heavy attack, you can easily defeat it and pick up Elden Ring Runes. Or, if you don’t have time for a heavy attack, the light attack and dash attack speed of this weapon are fast enough to catch enemies in PVP and PVE well. Although Golem Fist has many advantages, its biggest weakness is that there are a lot of bugs in the game that drag down its overall performance. Although some of them have been fixed in Patch 1.13, there are still some problems left - Golem Fist cannot get pleasant benefits from Smithing Talisman and Axe Talisman. So you may need to pay attention when choosing amulets in the future. In addition, the benefits of Spiked Cracked Tear on weapons cannot be reflected on Golem Fist. Best Ashes Of War Given the pros and cons above, you should consider three things when choosing Ashes of War: increased damage, making it difficult for enemies to interrupt your attacks, and being able to teleport into the effective range of Golem Fist in time. So based on these three points, Ashes of War you can choose from are as follows: Ash of War: Endure Ash of War: Quickstep Ash of War: Bloodhound’s Step Ash of War: Shriek of Sorrow Ash of War: Poison Flower Blooms Twice Best Infusions For Infusions, pay more attention to status build-up. If you like the feeling of a melee in combat, you can also increase the power of attack from Golem Fist a little. Although the first power attack of this weapon is currently buggy and does not apply any status effects, the second blow and the projectile itself still apply status accumulation. So you can learn how to increase it first, and you can get started as soon as possible after the fix is fixed. Since its heavy attacks hit so fast but its light attacks combo so quickly, Golem Fist can still accumulate status effects at a very fast rate. Based on this condition, you can choose Blood infusion or Frost infusion. The former is the best choice of the two, because you can combine White Mask and Lord of Blood’s Exultation with it, so that your punch damage will be greatly increased. Besides those two, Poison is also a superb choice, and you can combine it with Kindred of Rot’s Exultation talisman and Mushroom Crown helmet, which will give you an unexpected effect. Optimal Stats Distribution For Golem Fist, there are two builds you can choose: one that focuses on Faith and Strength, and the other that focuses on Strength and Arcane. If you want your status effects to be stronger, you can put 70-80 skill points into Strength, and then put 40-50 points into Arcane, so that you can get the strongest attack in the light and heavy attack combination. Because of the high Arcane attribute, you can build up status effects very quickly. Alternatively, if your focus is on increasing heavy attacks, you can put 70-80 into Faith and only 40 into Strength. This will allow you to cast buffs and get extremely high damage values from Flame Art infusion. Best Talisman Millicent’s Prosthesis/Rotten Winged Talisman These two Talismans are seen in some common builds and are a must-have. They increase your damage with each consecutive hit, which is very useful for Golem Fist. This damage buff caps out at three consecutive hits, which is the same as four hits with your full-strength heavy attack. Or you can choose to achieve the same effect with a series of fast and frequent light attacks. It’s up to you. Bull-Goat’s Talisman You need to build up your Poise before using Golem Fist to ensure that your light and heavy attacks are not interrupted by enemies. Then equip Bull-Goat’s Talisman, which increases your Poise by 33%. If you want to get your Poise above 75, you can use this Talisman with some heavier armor. Used together, it may have a remarkable effect. Two-Headed Turtle Talisman Whether you focus on Golem Fist’s light or heavy attacks, you should always focus on your stamina. If you don’t want to keep an eye on these stats, you can equip Two-Headed Turtle Talisman, which can help you recover stamina faster and make stamina management easier to handle. If you encounter any problems in Elden Ring DLC, you are welcome to come to iGMeet Discord to tell your problem. I believe that many players in it will definitely give you a perfect answer. You may even have a chance to get some runes as a bonus! After learning some information about Golem Fist, are you eager to open the game and start modifying your own build? I hope this guide can help you in your exploration process, and I wish you a happy game!Aug-08-2024

Elden Ring: The Best Starte ...
If you want to become the most powerful Samurai in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, then do not miss this guide. Here we will bring you Moonlight Katana Samurai Build. We will cover its play style, gear to use, best Talismans for this build, tips for using the game, and more. With this guide, you will eventually master the great power of Moonlight and have fun in the new DLC. Gameplay With Transient Moonlight, Moonlight Samurai can deal tremendous damage from both melee and ranged. The skill of releasing shockwaves, which is great for ranged attacks, however, in melee range you will deal even more damage because Katana will also hit the enemy. Moonlight Samurai has high Intelligence and Dexterity, allowing the user to perform all the most powerful magic to their liking. With this build, you will cast a lot of Stance damage and tear bosses to pieces with ease. Gear Now that the basic play style is out of the way, let’s move on to the best weapons for Moonlight Samurai. Main Weapon: Moonveil Katana Let’s start with the main weapon for Moonlight Samurai, which is without a doubt Moonveil Katana. To use it effectively, the user needs 12 Strength, 18 Dexterity, and 23 Intelligence, and it scales primarily with Intelligence and Dexterity. But its best feature is the aforementioned Transient Moonlight skill, which gives the user versatility in combat. This weapon can deal with regular Unsheathe attacks with a special arching shockwave when L2+R1 is pressed. R1 Transient Moonlight is often used to deal with large groups of enemies, while pressing L2+R2 allows for an overhead Unsheathe attack with a vertical projectile, similar to Ash of War: Unsheathe. This will become your go-to skill, especially when dealing with bosses. Many times, enemies’ stances will be broken because of the massive Stance damage of this skill. Secondary Weapon: Carian Glintblade Staff Next, I decided to go with Carian Glintblade Staff as a secondary weapon, since this build is centered on Intelligence, anyway. This Staff requires 6 Strength, 22 Intelligence, and 12 Dexterity to use effectively. I chose this Staff because it boosts the strength of Glintblade Sorceries by 15%, and we’ll be using either Glintblade or Greatblade Phalanx Sorceries in this build. Of course, if you have more Elden Ring Runes budget, you can also use Azur’s Glintstone Staff, which will give you more casting time. Sorceries Speaking of Sorceries, I chose Phalanx Sorceries for more Stance damage, and it also matches up well with Moonlight Sumarai. Glintblade Phalanx Or Greatblade Phalanx Also, I recommend using either Glintblade Phalanx or Greatblade Phalanx as a secondary damage source. Both of these Sorcery will help you deal extra raw and Stance damage, which will complement your Moonveil Katana while not disrupting your attack rotation too much. Glintblade Phalanx only costs 18 FP to use, while Greatblade costs 30 FP, so this is something you’ll want to consider as well. You can use either one, it all depends on your preference. But personally, I use Glintblade Phalanx for lower FP costs, and I tend to focus on using Moonveil instead of casting Glintblade Phalanx. Terra Magica The next Sorcery on the list is Terra Magica, which casts a magic puddle or a sigil that increases magic damage by 35% for 30 seconds. All of our damage sources are magic based, so this will improve the overall damage of the build. Talismans Next, let’s get into the best Talismans for this build. Shard Of Alexander The first Talisman on the list is our Shard of Alexander. This provides a 15% increase in skill damage, especially when performing a Transient Moonlight. Magic Scorpion Charm Next up is Magic Scorpion Charm. Since we’re dealing primarily magic damage with this build, the 12% extra magic damage this amulet provides will be beneficial in exchange for the 10% increase in physical damage taken. Green Turtle Talisman The next Talisman on the list is Green Turtle Talisman, which increases Stamina recovery and is one of the go-to Talismans I use because my gameplay and strategy always revolves around ultra-aggressive gameplay and strategy, so most of the time, my Stamina is running low. So, the faster my Stamina recovers, the more damage I can do to the enemy. Carian Filigreed Crest Finally, for general use, I recommend Carian Filigreed Crest. This Talisman reduces FP cost of skills by 25%, allowing you to deal more Transient Moonlights before popping a Cerulean Tear. Stats Let’s move on to Moonlight Samurai’s stats. Starting with Vigor, it has 40 points assigned to it. If you feel like you need more HP to survive, feel free to bump it up to 45-50 since we’ll be using Godrick’s Great Rune later on, anyway. And since I’m used to Glass Cannon builds, I don’t usually invest a lot of points in Vigor. Next up is Mind, which has 30 points assigned to it since this is a build that requires FP. Constantly using Transient Moonlight while setting up buffs will deplete your FP, so I highly recommend having at least 30 points in Mind. Moving on to Endurance, it has 40 points assigned to it since the intended gameplay of Moonveil Samurai is super aggressive. You’ll be spending most of your time face-to-face with bosses, or pulling out Transient Moonlight from a distance. Personally, I deplete Endurance faster than anything when optimizing for combat, so I highly recommend having at least 40 points in Endurance. I consider Endurance to be the offensive stat in any Souls game I play, because the more stamina you have, the more damage you can do. Next Strength is at least 18, so you will use Nagakiba. Also, I recommend at least Dexterity at 60 and Mind at 75, so you can maximize the damage of Moonveil Katana and Glintblade Phalanx or any magic you want to use later. For Faith and Arcane, 0 points have been assigned to them since we don’t need these stats in this build. How To Optimize This Build? Now that stats are out of the way, let’s move on to Moonlight Samurai gameplay tips and optimization techniques. Learn 5 useful tips that will help you master this build. Utilizing Wakizashi The first tip I have for you is to prepare Wakizashi and fuse it with Ash of War: Golden Vow. Having the ability to cast Golden Vow will increase your damage by 11.5% and increase damage negation by 7.5% across the board. Optimize Your Opener The second tip on the list is to optimize your Opener. At the start of a fight, I usually cast Flask of Wondrous Physick first, get more magic and stance, then cast Golden Vow, and have my Glintblade Phalanx ready. Finally, rush the boss and start casting Transient Moonlight. During this time, try to deal as many attacks as you can, as the stance buff from physics doesn’t last. If you manage to fight off the boss, you will have a huge upper hand. Use Terra Magica Effectively The third tip on the list is to make sure you cast Terra Magica and stand on Sigil first, then use Transient Moonlight in succession. You can also do this at the melee range to deal as much damage as possible. Prepare A Katana We never know how many magic-resistant enemies DLC will throw at us, so preparing at least another Katana, such as Nagakiba, will still give you an advantage. Customize The Build The last tip on the list is to customize the build to your liking. As mentioned before, this build has access to the most powerful Sorceries in the game, so if you don’t like my personal setup, feel free to get creative. You can be a full mage with this build, as you will have high Dexterity anyway, so your cast times will be much faster. Utilizing spells such as Comet Azur or other destruction spells in the game may give you more options or variety in combat. Consider changing Staff to Azur’s Glintstone Staff if you choose to go this route. That’s it for the complete guide to building this Moonlight Katana Samurai Build. Hopefully, it helps you get off to a better start as you enter Shadow of the Erdtree!Jun-20-2024
