Elden Ring: These New Ranged Weapons Can Help You Win Faster In Shadow Of The Erdtree!
In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, besides providing players with a new area, some new bosses, and some new armor, some ranged weapons have been added, including bows, crossbows, and Repeating Crossbow, which allow you to defeat enemies without getting in close contact in combat.
Among the new ranged weapons in DLC, there are bows with high damage and great scaling, and some of them can fire multiple arrows after a single reload. In addition, there are some Talismans that are more effective when used with some of them. Here are the new ranged weapons added to Shadow of the Erdtree.
Repeating Crossbow
- Status Requirements: 13 Strength & 15 Dexterity
- Max Damage (+10): 259 For Physical
Repeating Crossbow does exactly what it says, firing multiple arrows in rapid succession when using Repeating Fire skill, which means it can deal continuous damage to enemies.
Like the other Crossbows in Elden Ring, it doesn’t follow any of your stats, but if you feed it enough Somber Smith Stone, it can go from a backup weapon to your major weapon.
Want to know where this powerful weapon is? You need to go to Site of Grace south of Moorth Highway and then walk north. Here you can find Repeating Crossbow next to Ghostflame Dragon and some Elden Ring Runes.
Igon’s Greatbow
- Status Requirements: 23 Strength & 16 Dexterity
- Max Scaling (+25): C Strength & E Dexterity
- Max Damage (+10): 294 For Physical
If you want to use your Strength build to fight the enemy, Igon’s Greatbow will be your best choice. Not only because of its excellent scaling and high base damage but also because it has Igon’s Drake Hunt, a wonderful skill in the game.
In this weapon, because it is an advanced version of Through and Through, you can twist the bowstring to increase its power. In addition, you can also match it with Igon’s Harpoons to get the maximum damage to the enemy.
Unlike Repeating Crossbow, Igon’s Greatbow only needs Smith Stones to upgrade, so the upgrade conditions of this weapon are simpler.
Since it is Igon’s Greatbow, you must summon Igon. However, you don’t summon it to fight it, but to let it help you defeat Bayle The Dread, a dragon entrenched in Jagged Peak. After you win, Igon will leave its bow and armor to you.
Spread Crossbow
- Status Requirements: 11 Strength & 17 Dexterity
- Max Damage (+25): 272 For Physical
Spread Crossbow provides you with the easiest way to counter the various status effects generated by the boss. This is because the most basic attack of Tarnished is to fire multiple arrows at once, and can make the boss suffer sleep or blood loss effects depending on the type of arrows.
Its skill, Kick is not surprising, but fortunately its upgrade material is also Smith Stones that can be found everywhere, which can make it slightly more useful. However, you still need to be careful that you need to have enough arrows equipped, because Spread Crossbow will consume arrows very quickly.
Spread Crossbow is guarded by Messmer Soldiers on the right side of Ellac Greatbridge. You need to cross the bridge (or river) and defeat them to obtain this weapon.
Ansbach’s Longbow
- Status Requirements: 9 Strength & 43 Dexterity
- Max Scaling (+10): D Strength & D Dexterity
- Max Damage (+10): 181 For Physical
Thanks to its ability, Fan Shot, Ansbach’s Longbow is one of the best Longbows in the game. It can fire 8 arrows at once, and with some stats, even the biggest bosses will be affected by bleeding or rot.
Although it may seem that this weapon requires very little Strength, don’t forget that you need to reach 43 Dexterity to use it. Check your Dexterity now!
Like Repeating Crossbow, as long as you use enough Somber Smith Stones, you can get a better chance of winning in battle.
Before you can get Ansbach’s Longbow, you need to make sure you have completed Ansbach’s quest in Shadow Keep. Completion here means that it is possible to kill him directly or help him fight invaders.
Bone Bow
- Status Requirements: 8 Strength & 11 Dexterity
- Max Scaling (+10): D Strength & D Dexterity
- Max Damage (+10): 161 For Physical
Although Bone Bow is not as outstanding in terms of damage compared to other weapons, it can stand out in Light Bow category with its own skill Rancor Shot. Light Bow allows players to fire a series of energy-infused arrows and is difficult to miss. In addition, its long range and lightweight are also plus points for it.
Somber Smith Stones mentioned above are also its upgrade materials. Remember to pick up more Somber Smith Stones during the exploration process.
The location of Bone Bow is in Belurat Tower Settlement you will see when you first enter DLC, or more specifically, in a tower with a broken spiral staircase. The process of taking it is not smooth sailing, but don’t worry, Spider-Scorpions inside are no match for you.
Hopefully, these ranged weapons will play an important role in your battles. Have fun playing Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and exploring more stories!

Elden Ring DLC: How To Figu ...
Elden Ring does not actually explain the game to players specifically, but only makes an introduction of a simple set of explanation and the vague direction they’re supposed to head in without any details being provided. This gives players a lot of freedom to play the game in their own way and at their own pace and explore the mysteries hidden in it without being restricted. Many players said that they enjoyed this mode and often immersed themselves in it. However, due to the lack of detailed explanations, many players did not know the more nuanced mechanics. Although players can experience the game at their own pace, getting known as obscure mechanics could offer you more fresh game experience, and gain an advantage over other players. Now let’s take a closer look at these 5 obscure mechanics. 5. Buff Stacking The game does not explain the specific use of buffs. Based on their gaming experience, many players believe that different buffs can be combined which is not entirely correct. Because only some buffs can be combined with others to enhance performance. There are five varieties of buffs in the game: aura, body, weapon, regeneration, and unique, separately. Under the normal circumstance, Tarnished can only own one buff from each category (exclude unique buffs, which can stack with one another without limitation). Once players establish the combination of buffs they require, the difficulty of the game will plummet. 4. Counter Attacking There are many types of attacks in Elden Ring, such as simple attacks, vigorous attacks, powerful weapon skills, and guard counters. However, counter-attack is not being described in detail. In fact, if the player attacks the enemy with counter-attack, the damage output will be greater than usual. Combing with Spear Talisman, which will enhance the degree of damage, the damage output of counter-attack will increase by 45%. There are two conditions for an attack to be viewed as a counter-attack. In the first place, the player must employ a weapon that deals with piercing damage. Secondly, Tarnished have to attack an enemy while they are in the middle of an attack animation. 3. Feinting Feinting is one of the obscure mechanics that being barely known. Maybe many players don’t know the existence of this mechanism, or even if they know about it, they have never actually used. Feinting provides another type of attack to the player’s arsenal, enlarging the possibilities and chance of attack, and also creating the false impression of opponents in PvP. Considering the fact that multitude of people do not figure out the function of it, feints offer much help in the aspect of catching other players off-guard. 2. Hyper Armor The amount of hits Tarnished can bear before flinching is an important thing for players to pay attention to. The result is calculated by combining the poise of all armor pieces that they are currently wearing. Talismans also have a certain impact on the result. But there is another number that needs to be counted. That number is Hyper Armor itself. Each attack that a player performs will offer them a certain amount of Hyper Armor, serving as an additional poise on top of what their armor is that they already own. Under normal circumstances, the size and weight of the weapon also have a bearing on Hyper Armor. For example, larger weapons have Hyper Armor on most attacks, but some smaller weapons only have Hyper Armor on some attacks. You can get some weapons equipped with more Hyper Armor by devoting some Elden Ring Runes. By the way, charged attacks and some weapon skills will have more Hyper Armor. 1. I-Frames I-Frames are a mechanism that helps players dodge. If there are some I-Frames, the player will become invincible during the dodge process. Since Fast rolls have more I-Frames than Medium rolls, dodging attacks will become more simple and easy. In a similar way, heavy rolls own fewer I-Frames than both Medium and Fast rolls, making it much more difficult to dodge attacks in the situation of being encumbered. However, what many people do not master is that there are other methods to embrace I-Frames in Elden Ring. Mounting and dismounting Torrent while standing gives the player I-Frames while lasting for a short period. In addition, the following weapon skills also promise players I-Frames: Ash of War: Quickstep Ash of War: Bloodhound’s Step Ash of War: Vow of the Indomitable Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists Bloodhound’s Finesse Skill Dynast’s Finesse Skill If you are a loyal fan of Elden Ring, you can log in to iGMeet discord. There will be some lucky draws in Giveaway channel, and you can also get more real-time information about the game. The above is about sharing some little-known but useful mechanisms in Elden Ring. I hope it can give some inspiration for you.Aug-27-2024

Elden Ring DLC: This Top-Ti ...
Here, we bring you a deadly Samurai Build that wields a massive Nodachi that overwhelms its targets with maximum thrust damage and bleed procs. Even the strongest and toughest bosses in the game are no match for this build. So if you’re looking for a powerful Samurai, Bleed Great Katana Build is the one for you. In this guide, I’ll walk you through how to maximize this build, explain the challenges this build can face, and help you overcome them. Let’s get straight into it! Gameplay This build masters the art of wielding Great Katana and performs Goring Thrust, dealing massive amounts of damage to its targets and causing them to bleed in the process. But what makes it even more terrifying is mastering Bloodflame Incantations and using these spells to your advantage. This Bleed Great Katana is one of the most powerful builds in the game, making boss fights seem trivial and common enemies drop like flies. This build focuses on Strength and Dexterity as its main stats. Stats Let’s move on to the build’s stats. We allocated 50 points to Vigor to give the user a fair amount of survivability in combat. As always, if you feel that you really need more health when adapting to the gameplay of this build, you are welcome to adjust it to 60 points at any time. This setup requires a small amount of Focus to perform optimally, so we allocated 20 points to Mind. And for Endurance, 25 points is just right for this play style. Strength and Dexterity will be the main offensive attributes in this build, so we allocated 69 points to Strength and 63 points to Dexterity. In addition, Faith was increased by 25 points so that we can cast critical buffs later. Finally, Intelligence and Arcane did not increase any points. Gear It’s time to build gear, and Great Katana is making a comeback. This Great Katana requires 14 Strength and 18 Dexterity for the user to properly use the weapon. Meanwhile, it has B scaling for Strength, and B for Dexterity if the user sets it to Quality. Of course, you can also infuse the weapon with Quality Affinity to get better scaling, and thus a higher attack rating. Now, for the Ashes of War of Great Katana, we will be setting it up with Repeating Thrust. While Ash of War looks simple and straightforward, in this configuration it will deal a lot of damage while maintaining ease of use. Pressing L2 once will allow the user to perform a fierce multiple-hitting thrust that will cause the enemy to take continuous damage. This set of thrusts will not only deal tremendous damage as mentioned above, but will also effortlessly bleed the target, causing even more damage. Continuing with the secondary weapon of this build, you can use Finger Seal to be able to cast critical buffs and offensive spells later on. You can get this base Seal at Twin Maiden Husks for 800 Elden Ring Runes. Spells Next up, we have the spells we suggest. The first on the list is Flame Grant me Strength, which grants an additional 20% Physical Attack Boost and Stamina Recovery Buff. The second buff is, of course, Golden Vow. This buff increases overall damage by 15% and adds 10% damage negation, which is very helpful for this build. Next up is Bloodflame Blade, so we can drastically speed up the rate at which our targets bleed. It pairs well with Ash of War: Repeating Thrust, since this skill has a multi-attack animation. On the other hand, fire damage is just a bonus, and we’ll be relying on raw firepower with this configuration. Bloodboon will also make a comeback, since it fits the theme of the build and serves a diversity purpose. Like in the past, you can cast Bloodboon before approaching the boss, so you can increase your blood loss faster. This spell isn’t necessary, though, since you can mainly focus on dealing with Repeating Thrust alone and call it a day. Talismans Next up we have Talismans you need for this build. As always, first up is Shard of Alexander, which increases skill damage by 15%. The next Talisman for this build is Lord of Blood’s Exultation, as you’ll be dealing with fast and frequent bleed procs in this build. When it’s active, you can easily knock out a target and end the fight. If the enemy isn’t bleeding, you can swap out Lord of Blood’s Exultation for a Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for increased survivability, or a Two-Headed Turtle Talisman for increased stamina regeneration. For the third and final slot, we’re dealing with fast multiple-hitting attacks as the major source of damage for this build, slotting in Millicent’s Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia are the best choices for this build. All of your attacks are fast and multi-hitting, so you can easily keep the attack boosts from these Talismans. Best Wondrous Physick Combination For Flask of Wondrous Physick Combination, slotting in Thorny Cracked Tear is a smart move for this build. Pair it with Bloodsucking Cracked Tear because the health loss in this configuration is not that devastating, since the enemies will die quickly, anyway. This will allow the user to have a glass cannon playstyle. However, if you find that the health loss per second from Bloodsucking Cracked Tear is too much, you can equip Greenburst Crystal Tear to restore stamina faster. Armor Set Continuing with its Armor Set. Since this build is a dark and edgy samurai theme, we equipped Iron Kasa as a headdress, Death Knight pieces as armor and gloves, and finally Leather Boots as greaves. This hybrid set works well and is definitely worth your time in the long run. Pros & Cons Finally, let’s talk about the pros and cons of this Bleed Great Katana from all aspects. Pros First, start with the pros. First of course is the insane damage output of this build. Without counting bleed procs, Repeating Thrust can already deal a ton of damage in this setup. Enemies that are resistant to bleeding will still die faster than with other setups. The amazing damage of this build is made even better by the fact that the build is able to deal bleed procs. Repeating Thrust can easily increase and deal bleeding to a target. Therefore, this makes the game a bit too easy. Also, dealing a ton of damage while keeping the build easy to use is also a huge plus. Mastering the timing of Repeating Thrust is pretty easy in my opinion. Repeating Thrust can stun enemies during the animation, so most of the time, humanoid targets can’t do anything with this setup. The last plus is the super high FP Efficiency of this build, which only requires 7 Focus Points per Repeating Thrust. Cons Moving on to the cons. To be honest, this is one of the setups that I can’t think of too many cons for. If you equip Bloodsucking Cracked Tear, without any HP Regen buffs, you’ll have this glass cannon playstyle that anyone can adapt to instantly. However, even without Bloodsucking Cracked Tear equipped, the user still does a ton of damage compared to other builds. The second downside is the lack of variety in the build. If you decide to focus on maxing out the attack rating of Great Katana, you’ll have very few stats to play with. Conclusion Overall, Bleed Great Katana Build is one of the best melee builds we have at the moment. It’s incredible to be able to deal huge burst damage with just one or two skill casts, while also maintaining the overall ease of use of the build. If you’re the type of player who likes to take it easy with violent sword thrusts and bleed procs while wanting focused and simple gameplay, this build is for you. Elden Ring DLC: How To Buil ...
Anvil Hammer is a new weapon added in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and it is also a very powerful weapon. As a Colossal Weapon, its moves are relatively slow, but its excellent damage data and high AOE damage make up for this shortcoming. Before you use Anvil Hammer, you need to make sure you have enough skill points to invest in Strength. only then can the Anvil Hammer reach its full potential. If you haven’t figured out how to build the best build for it, follow the steps in this guide and build the best build for various situations you encounter step by step. Strengths And Disadvantages Overall, the biggest power of Anvil Hammer is that it can cause a lot of Stagger Damage, coupled with high Poise Damage, which allows you to break most bosses’ postures in a simple 2-3 normal attacks. It is worth mentioning that with Hammer category of weapons, whether you use a light swing, a heavy attack, or a charged attack, every swing can break the enemy’s posture. You can use this type of weapon to face some hard-to-lock bosses in the DLC, such as Curseblades or Fire Knights, who will faint on the ground after you hit them. Having talked about the advantages, now let’s talk about the disadvantages. In addition to being too heavy and only being able to perform slow moves, there are really no other disadvantages. But you can help reduce the impact of this weakness through subsequent stat allocation or matching Elden Ring Items. Stats Allocation As mentioned earlier, Strength and Faith are the two most important attributes of Anvil Hammer. However, in terms of priority, Strength is more important than Faith. Besides these two stats, you also need to invest a little in Intelligence and Dexterity, but these two stats will not affect the damage output of the weapon, so you can choose. The remaining stats should be used on Vigor to increase your health. Or you can choose to put it on Endurance to help you increase endurance and weight. In addition, investing 25 in Mind can get more value from this weapon’s skill Smithing Art Spears, because it only costs 18 FP. Once you’re over level 150, you can focus on Strength and get it to 80, Faith to 60, and Vigor to 60. If gear load-out becomes an issue, it’s also a good idea to prioritize Endurance until you find a better with your armor of choice. Best Talismans Using Anvil Hammer with both hands will trigger Two-Handed Sword Talisman, which will help you increase your damage by 15%. For Shard of Alexander, you can use Ash of War Smithing Art Spears to burst out critical hits. This will allow you to end the fight more easily and obtain Elden Ring Runes faster. Two-Headed Turtle Talisman is a quality-of-life addition that allows you to restore your stamina at a very amazing rate, which will help you in some long-term battles. The above are your must-haves, but you can also choose some amulets for special combat situations. For example, Crimson Seed Talisman +1 will increase the amount of healing you receive from Flasks by 30%, which can help you when Vigor exceeds 60. In addition, if you plan to use Anvil Hammer and some shields for guard counterattacks, then Curved Sword Talisman is definitely your best choice. Best Incantations First, since it is a Faith-based build, Golden Vow and Flame, Grant me Strength are the best choices, because they can directly enhance your damage output and resistance. In addition, I want to tell you that Anvil Hammer is one of the few weapons in the game that has fire damage, so after you use these Incantations to enhance it, your fire damage will be immeasurable. For other Incantations, you can choose Electrocharge, so that you can passively enhance the damage when you use Anvil Hammer with two hands. Or Pest-Thread Spears can also provide you with a can’t miss ranged option, which is an easy way to deal with some agile enemies. Best Seal In fact, the choice of Seal is closely related to the choice of Incantations. If you don’t want to keep switching, you can directly choose Clawmark Seal, because it is very useful for both Strength and Faith builds. Best Crystal Tears In Elden Ring DLC, Flask of Wondrous Physick is mainly used in some tough boss battles to increase your chances of winning the battle. With this in mind, you can choose these two Crystal Tears to help you complete the battle. When you use Deflecting Hardtear, your spontaneous defense in the hybrid physics will be significantly increased, and it will last for 5 minutes. When you choose Greenspill Crystal Tear, your stamina in the hybrid physics will be temporarily increased for 3 minutes. You can also use your usual Crystal Tears instead of Greenspill Crystal Tear, which will have a different effect, but the 15% increase in base stamina will leave you with a little stamina after you are hit, which you may be able to used to counterattack or even defeat the enemy directly. After reading this guide, have you opened your game and decided to change your build? Hopefully, you can use Anvil Hammer effectively in combat and explore Elden Ring DLC! If you encounter any problems during the build process, you are welcome to come to iGMeet Discord to ask for help from the gamers. I’m sure they will be very happy to help you, and you will also have a chance to get some Elden Ring Runes as a bonus!Aug-08-2024

Elden Ring: Bring These Gea ...
It’s a well-known fact in many communities that Elden Ring DLC is difficult. Even for those who already have super high levels, weapons, and Spirit Ashes in the base game, navigating Shadow of the Erdtree can be a bit difficult. So before you even touch Withered Arm in the base game, you need to find the best gear, weapons, and more to prepare for your DLC journey. With this solid foundation, you’ll have more power in your quest. This guide will detail the effects of some Elden Ring Items so that you’re prepared before you enter Shadow of the Erdtree. Best Talismans Haligdrake Talisman +2 Throughout DLC, most of the hard bosses will cause Holy damage to you. Although there are many Talismans for Holy Damage negation in the base game, the 20% damage reduction effect of Haligdrake Talisman +2 is very outstanding in comparison. Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman And Pearldrake Talisman +2 These two Talismans are suitable for long-term wear in DLC, because they can greatly improve your overall defense ability in various battles. If you do find a better talisman and want to replace one of them, take Pearldrake Talisman. Because Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman can reduce your physical damage by about 10%. And throughout the game, almost all enemies will cause some physical damage to you more or less. So Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman must not be replaced casually. Great-Jar’s Arsenal Talisman This Talisman may not increase your damage or resist some damage like the previous two, it can only increase your equipment load by 20%. This will allow you to equip heavier armor, which will indirectly increase your defense. In addition, with the increased equipment loadout, you will also can equip the all-new Shadow of the Erdtree Armor sets. Bull-Goat Talisman Many enemies and bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree have extremely high attack speeds, which means you also need a high Poise attribute. Bull-Goat Talisman can increase your Poise by about 20%, even pushing it to 50 and 100 breakpoints. This can all be done without the help of heavier armor. Best Melee Weapons - Dexterity Weapons & Strength Weapons Dual Bleed Weapons Like some classic combos, Dual Rivers of Blood still performs as intended in DLC. In addition, there are many niche combos, such as Dual Bleed Scavengers Curved Swords or Twinblades, which can give you a greater chance of winning when facing some bosses that cannot resist Bleed effect. Heavy Thrusting Sword & Shield If you want to build a pure Dexterity build, Dragon King’s Cragblade will definitely give you a distinct surprise. Add Shield, and you can protect yourself while using Thrusting Sword. Moonveil Moonveil is originally an Intelligence attribute weapon, but it can also be used to enhance your Dexterity. This is also one of the best samurai swords in the base game of Elden Ring. Moonveil’s Ash of War lets you kill some enemies in DLC with one strike, and get to the last reward, Elden Ring Runes, faster, especially if you have very high Scadutree Blessing levels. Dual Greatswords The repeated Heavy attacks of Dual Greatswords can make many enemies paper-thin and very easy to attack, even some very challenging bosses. You can also use it with Starscourge Greatsword, which makes it very good in some mixed builds. Giant Crusher When you Two-Handed it, Giant Crusher can give you Defensive properties similar to a shield. If you use it with Deflecting Hardtear, you can play very good Guard Counters and Perfect Block damage from enemies. Blasphemous Blade Blasphemous Blade is a weapon that changes with your Faith. In Shadow of the Erdtree, you can use its Ash of War to attack Blackgaol Knight. Its Flame damage can counter many enemies in the game that are not resistant to this type of damage. Best Spells Comet When you use this skill, you fire some Comet forward and deal huge Magic damage to the enemy. Don’t worry about it being very short-lived, because it can be cast in rapid succession and can be charged to deal more damage. Glintstone Icecrag This skill differs from Comet. It fires a Freezing projectile forward, which forms Frostbite on the target it hits. Although Glintstone Icecrag is technically slightly weaker than Comet, the ability to form Frostbite makes up for the technical shortcomings. Greatblade Phalanx Greatblade Phalanx is a very good Phalanx-type spell in the base game, which summons three gigantic swords above your head and automatically tracks attackers. This skill can greatly help you break Poise faster when using Magic-Melee hybrid builds. Rock Sling Some enemies in DLC are somewhat resistant to magic damage, so most spells won’t do much Poise damage to them. But Rock Sling can cleverly solve these problems. It will lift three large rocks from the ground and deal a lot of Physical damage to your attack target. Shard Spiral Although it can deal less damage than the previous skills, it can continue to cause damage when facing large bosses such as Divine Beast while passing through large creature models. Shard Spiral will fire two Glintstone projectiles forward, and after you hit a target, it will not stop and will continue to attack the enemies behind it. If you aim, each release can cause thousands of points of damage. But this requires your luck. After reading this guide, I believe you will have enough confidence to enter Shadow of the Erdtree to explore more unknown stories and plots. I wish you a happy game in Shadow of the Erdtree!Jul-03-2024
