Elden Ring: Build Your Raging Rakshasa Samurai To Delete All Bosses In Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC!
The arrival of Shadow of The Erdtree DLC has dropped a lot of new gear, especially some Samurai-related weapons. If you enjoy destroying anything with wild swings and inflicting bleeding on your enemies, then this Raging Rakshasa Samurai Build is definitely what you are looking for.
In this guide, we will cover the play style of this build, what gear to use, the best amulets, useful gameplay tips, and more. So that eventually you will master the enormous power of the newest weapons in DLC and delete everything that stands in your way.
Gameplay
Raging Rakshasa relies heavily on the power of Rakshasa’s Great Katana, hence the name. Swinging this Great Katana violently is able to deal a lot of raw damage and apply additional bleeding effects, making it even more deadly.
In addition, when making said swings, players will also gain a huge Hyper-armor to focus more on destroying enemies, especially bosses.
Raging Rakshasa also has high Strength and Dexterity, and a little Faith Stat that grants attack and defense boosting buffs. Its overall gameplay is simple but very effective.
Weapons
Now that the basic gameplay is out of the way, let’s move on to the gear you need to complete Raging Rakshasa.
Main Weapon: Rakshasa’s Great Katana
Let’s start with the major weapon of the build, which is Rakshasa’s Great Katana, one of the newest weapons added in DLC. This Great Katana requires 12 Strength, 27 Dexterity, and no Arcane Scaling, which is really weird in my opinion, and it’s D scaling for Strength and B for Dexterity.
Not only does Rakshasa’s Great Katana look really exceptional, but it also offers a devastating skill, Weed Cutter. This skill cuts the target horizontally and removes it like a weed, so its name matches its ability. As long as they have Stamina, the user can extend the use time of Weed Cutter, and it only costs 8 FP per use, which is crazy.
This skill hits like a truck every time it swings, and since it has an additional bleed effect on top of the original damage, you’ll be dealing a ton of damage in a matter of seconds.
Additionally, the user will gain Hyper-armor in the middle of the animation, allowing them to defend against or face normal attacks.
While it sounds OP, it has its downsides. While having Hyper-armor is good, the user will also take more damage in the process. And I think the animation of Weed Cutter is very slow, and if you don’t use it correctly, you’ll be vulnerable.
Secondary Weapon: Finger Seal
Moving on to the secondary weapon for this build, I recommend using Finger Seal. While any Seal will work, Finger Seal is the easiest one for us to get. And by equipping Seal, we can get the buff later.
Finger Seal is the starting equipment for Confessor and Prophet classes. If you don’t choose either of these classes, you can also choose to get it directly from Twin Maiden Husks for 800 Elden Ring Runes.
Spells
With the weapons out of the way, let’s move on to the suggested spells.
Flame Grant Me Strength
I mentioned that we’ll be getting buffs when using this build, so the first one on the list is Flame Grant me Strength, which provides an additional 20% Physical Attack Boost and Stamina Recovery Buff.
Golden Vow
The second buff on the list is, of course, Golden Vow. This buff increases overall damage by 15% and adds 10% Damage Negation, which is very helpful for us to offset the negative effects of Weed Cutter.

Talismans
Next, let’s get to the best Talismans for this build.
Shard of Alexander
The first Talisman on the list is our major hit, Shard of Alexander, which increases skill damage by 15%, especially when performing Weed Cutter. So be sure to slot this one.
Lord Of Blood’s Exultation
Since we deal with Bleed procs a lot with this build, I recommend slotting Lord of Blood’s Exultation. This Talisman will provide another 20% attack damage if blood loss procs occur near the user, which happens all the time when using this build.
Two-Headed Turtle Talisman
Next on the list is Two-Headed Turtle Talisman, which greatly increases Stamina Recovery. This is an upgrade from Green Turtle Talisman, and it will become the main Talisman I use in my build.
My gameplay and strategy always revolves around super aggressive gameplay and strategy, so most of the time, I’m completely running out of stamina. Therefore, the faster my stamina recovers, the more damage I can do to the enemy. What’s more, there are a lot of times you’ll find yourself with no stamina, especially after using Weed Cutter skill.
Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman
For the next Talisman, I recommend slotting Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for an extra 20% Physical Damage Negation. There’s a good chance you’ll be taking a ton of damage, especially when using Weed Cutter skill, so the damage reduction this Talisman provides will greatly help you survive. Not to mention that almost every enemy in DLC can take 1 or 2 shots and die, so you need this talisman.
Stats
Let’s move on to the stats for Raging Rakshasa.
Starting with Vigor, 50 points have been assigned to it. Since I’m used to Glass Cannon Builds, I rarely assign a lot of points to Vigor, however, since this build is more likely to go head-to-head with enemies, I think 50 points are best.
If you’re really good at the game, you can lower it. But if you’re still tuning in, make sure to assign 50 points, otherwise you’ll have trouble resisting the impact of all the enemies in DLC.
Next up is Mind, which has 25 points assigned to it. You can at least bump it up to 20 if you want and add it to your other stats since this build doesn’t require that much FP and Weed Cutter is very cheap to use.
Talking about Endurance next, we have allocated 30 points to it since the intended gameplay for this build is super aggressive. You will be facing off against bosses most of the time and will continue to use Weed Cutter skill, so I feel 30 points is enough for now. Of course, Endurance being an offensive stat, the more you have, the more damage you will be able to do.
In addition, you will also want to have at least 50 Strength and 79 Dexterity so that you can match up well with Rakshasa’s Great Katana. These two are the key attributes of this build, so pay attention to them.
Next is Faith. We allocated 25 points so that you can use the aforementioned Golden Vow and Flame Grant me Strength.
Finally, since we don’t need Intelligence and Arcane, no points were allocated to them, they remain at 10 points.
How To Optimize This Build?
Now that stats are out of the way, let’s move on to Raging Rakshasa’s gameplay and optimization tips.
Prepare Wakizashi
The first tip I have for you is to prepare Wakizashi and fuse it with Ash of War: Golden Vow. Now, this tip is only for when you don’t want to invest up to 25 points into Faith.
While it’s relatively weak, with it you can still increase your damage by 11.5% and increase damage negation by 7.5% across the board. Of course, feel free to use any dagger, I just used Wakizashi to match the theme of the build.
Improve Your Opener
Secondly, optimizing your opener is also crucial. When the fight starts, I usually use Flask of Wondrous Physick first to make my continuous attacks more powerful. And, to get more damage negation, I will choose to cast Golden Vow to deal more damage and damage reduction. Finally, pop Flame Grant me Strength for more attack boosts, then rush the boss and start executing Weed Cutter skill.
Use Weed Cutter Wisely
The third tip is to manage Weed Cutter skill wisely. You can still die if you use this skill carelessly, so use it intentionally and leave time to use the skill.
Gear Up Properly
For the last tip, if you are playing well and don’t need damage reduction, you can swap out Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for something like Rotten Winged Sword Insignia to get more damage.
You can also remove Opaline Hardtear and choose something like Strength-knot Crystal Tear, or get more stamina regeneration by equipping Greenburst Crystal Tear.
That’s all about Raging Rakshasa Samurai Build. More top builds are coming soon as more new gear emerges. Try to choose the one you like best and start your adventure!

Elden Ring DLC: How To Choo ...
As we all know, many new weapons and classes have been added to Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, and some of them have superior properties than other weapons, which we call Legendary Weapons. In addition to the beautiful Ashes of War, these Legendary Weapons also have very delicate animations, and most importantly, they can make you have a fatal effect on the enemy in battle. This guide will introduce several Legendary Weapons in the DLC, and you can choose the one that suits you best according to its location and usage. But it should be noted that if your Scadutree Blessing Level is too low, it is not recommended to use Legendary Weapons, because it will be a monumental challenge for you. Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a very useful legendary colossal sword in Elden Ring, and its quality can perfectly match your Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. When equipped, you can use its powerful Ash of War ability, called White Light Charge, to deal massive piercing damage to enemies and easily clear anything in your path. Location To get this powerful weapon, you’ll need to start your quest at Ruined Forge in Starfall Pass, southwest of Moorth Ruins. First, you’ll need to go to Site of Grace here, then continue straight ahead, then cross a small bridge and jump off the right side of the bridge. After jumping off the bridge, continue through a corridor and you’ll see a large room. Ignore it as it doesn’t contain Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword or Elden Ring Runes you need. Continue through another corridor until you see a ladder near the second Fire Slime. After climbing the stairs, continue along the corridor above until you reach the main hall of Ruined Forge. You can use the rubble on your left to climb up, and after passing through the door you’ll reach a chain platform. Continue to jump down from the short bridge northeast of the platform below. From there you can pull the lever to raise the gate, jump up and slowly move left. Until you see a furnace, you will see Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword glowing inside. Stone Sheathed Sword & Sword Of Darkness Or Sword Of Light Stone Sheathed Sword is a Straight Sword that first appeared in Elden Ring DLC. Its dominant feature is that it has two variants, Light and Darkness. You can swap between them in the initial altars you pick up. Back to Stone Sheathed Sword, although it is a simple Straight Sword that can change with your Dexterity and Strength, its variants will have much more damage, and the scaling and Ash of War will also change. Normally, Stone Sheathed Sword has Ash of War Square off, which allows you to cut through the enemy from the bottom up. The most troublesome part of this weapon is finding it and how to switch its variants. Location When you are facing Castle Front grace, turn left and move northwest of you. You will find a Fog Rift Catacombs. Continue through these catacombs until you find the second main hall, where there are three giant spike traps. You can use the space on the left wall to cross this dangerous area safely, and eventually you will reach a platform. On this platform, you can kill an NPC to gain XP and Elden Ring Runes, then wait for the trap to deactivate. After it deactivates, you can jump to a small opening in the back of this area, and then you can use the surrounding environment to jump to the second platform. On the platform, you can see a chest containing Blinkbolt’s Ash of War. But the altars that spawn Stone Sheathed Sword are on the roof, so you need to figure out how to jump up again. There is no set method here, just jump up. How To Convert It Into Sword Of Darkness? After you get Stone Sheathed Sword, you can convert it into Sword of Darkness. You need to go to Lower Scadu Altus in Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace, use Torrent to enter Ruins of Unte, and then you need to awaken Furnace Golem. Once you have done that, you can enter the ruins. On the main floor, you’ll find an altar that’s very similar to the one in Fog Rift Catacombs. Interacting with it will transform Stone Sheathed Sword into Sword of Darkness. Sword of Darkness has Ash of War Darkness that can deal Holy damage to enemies, making it easier for you to deal with enemies that are not resistant to Holy damage. Sword Of Light In fact, the steps to transform Stone Scabbard Sword into a Sword of Light are similar to those to transform it into a Sword of Darkness, but the most complicated part is finding an altar to do the transformation. Sword Of Light’s Ash of War Light can also trigger Holy attacks, but the difference is that it emits light to illuminate a small area during battle. This gives you an advantage in dark arenas and battle locations. How To Convert Into A Sword Of Light? Go southwest from West Site of Grace of Rauh Ancient Ruins, and you will find a cave and stairs nearby. Climb this staircase and go north to see Scarlet Lot Cave. When you enter the cave, you will see a horizontal corridor. Go right and exit through two doors and you will find yourself on a balcony. Next is the tough part. You need to do whatever it takes to cross the invisible broken bridge ahead. Again, there is no set way to do this. Just get past it. Once you get past it, you will see a Light Altar that you can transform into. Euporia The weirdest, most unique weapon in the game is definitely Euporia, which is hidden in the last dungeon of Enir-Ilim in the DLC. It is a twin-blade that scales with your Faith attribute and can also deal a lot of Holy damage. It has a very beautiful Ash of War called Euporia Vortex. It allows you to spin the weapon at a very fast speed and release golden rays in combat, causing Holy and Slash damage to enemies. Location To get Euporia, you need to go southwest of First Rise Site of Grace and walk up a staircase. When you reach the halfway point, an enemy will attack you. You need to pay attention here that its attack point is where you are currently standing, so you need to use some flexible strategies to avoid its attacks. After defeating it with ranged attacks, continue to the north and you will eventually walk into a room. Flip over the balcony in the room and jump down from the left corner. After landing, walk south and there will be a broken railing directly behind a miniature statue. Climb over it and you will reach a platform where you will see an archway in the wall. You can enter without pushing the door, as there is nothing worth exploring here. Slowly follow the archway in the wall until you reach a pillar and then drop down to a thin platform to the south. Walk along the platform to the left and jump up another staircase from the crack. Go down the stairs until you reach the breakpoint and look south, where you will find a door. Run over and jump into the door, from which you will reach the lower area of Enir-Ilim, Belurat Settlement. Use the elevator on the right to move down, or continue taking the stairs until you reach the last elevator. Once the small elevator takes you to the bottom, you will find a gigantic door in front of you. There, you can find Euporia near an abandoned corpse. The above is some of Legendary Weapons in Elden Ring DLC. I hope you can use these powerful weapons to defeat more enemies. If you have questions about combat strategies, you can come to iGMeet Discord to ask. There will be many players here to help you! I wish you a happy gaming.Aug-19-2024

Elden Ring DLC: How To Buil ...
Souls games like Elden Ring have always had fantasy elements that are one of the biggest highlights of the game. In this popular game, you can play various characters, such as Mages, Knights, Samurai, and more. In addition, you can also use some hybrid classes, such as Paladin and Spellblade, which are mostly built around two or more attack attributes. When talking about Paladin, most players may think of him using his power to support or heal his allies. But in fact, he also has very powerful offensive abilities. This guide will help you choose the best items for your Paladin build in two aspects: armor and weapons. Depending on your gaming style and usage habits, you can choose the most useful ones. Best Armors When choosing Armors in Elden Ring, you need to consider not only the defensive stats of Armors but also the fashion, because this best represents the theme of the entire build. Paladin is introduced as a glorified holy knight, so you should be able to find several armor sets that match him in Shadow of the Erdtree. Solitude Set This is a new armor set added in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has become a new favorite among players because it is very similar to Guts’ armor in the previous base game. Although this armor set looks very grim, it is indeed the most suitable for knight-like builds. Blackflame Monk Set Besides Grim Armor Set, another armor set that can be selected for Paladin Build is Blackflame Monk Set. In this dark and eerie Land of Shadow, the dark white and hooded Blackflame Monk Set will stand out more. But collecting Blackflame Monk Set is not a straightforward task, because there are only a few places where Blackflame Monks can be found, and even after you defeat him, the chance of dropping the parts in the set is very low. Even if you don’t get a full set of armor, don’t be discouraged. You will still get a lot of Elden Ring Runes. Haligtree Knight Set Gold is the symbol of Holy, whether in the base game of Elden Ring or in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The helmet in Haligtree Knight Set has a light golden hue, and there is a golden embroidery of Miquella’s Haligtree on the chest armor. This matches the description of the holy knight. Besides this appearance that is very suitable for Paladin Build, the entire armor set can also increase your Faith by 2 points. Don’t underestimate this number, it may make you burst out with powerful power in battle! Leyndell Knight Set The design of this set of armor is actually very similar to Haligtree Knight Set, but the golden hue will be a little stronger, which also means that the color of Holy will be stronger. Because it was originally designed to protect the knights who defended Royal Capital Leyndell, and Leyndell was always bathed in golden light at the foot of the Erdtree, Leyndell Knight Set would be more suitable for such a very powerful knight than Haligtree Knight Set. Tree Sentinel Set In Elden Ring, you will see Tree Sentinels everywhere, and they are also wearing golden armor. It is for this reason that Tree Sentinel Set has become the easiest armor set to get in Paladin Build. The posture of Tree Sentinel Set is very elegant, and its golden appearance matches the holy Erdtree incantations very well. If you use it in Land of Shadow, it may make your Paladin Build more eye-catching. In addition to the above armor sets, you can also choose other ones according to the habits of the used builds, such as Royal Knight Set, Malformed Dragon Set, Crucible Axe Set, and Crucible Tree Set. But it should be noted that you need to replace the helmet in Malformed Dragon Set. Best Weapons Elden Ring DLC also provides you with a lot of Holy weapons that can deal Holy damage to supplement the Paladin Build. In addition, you can also use some non-unique weapons infused with Ash of War to adapt this Strength-Faith build. Miquellan Knight’s Sword / Inseparable Sword Although Miquellan Knight’s Sword is a straight sword, both weapons have the same Ash of War, called Sacred Blade. After you have it, when you use both weapons, you will release the skill of firing holy projectiles. If you think these two weapons are too difficult to obtain, or the required attributes are too difficult, then you can directly get Ash of War Sacred Blade from Limgrave using Elden Ring Runes, which can be infused into any type of weapon. Golden Order Greatsword It is one of the few legendary armaments in the entire Elden Ring, forged by the second Elden Lord Radagon. This weapon is also a symbol of the tenets of Golden Order, so from this you should know that it also has the nature of Holy and is the best weapon for Paladin Build. But you may need to pay attention to it. Its Ash of War Establish Order is not very effective. So if you focus on the theme of the build rather than the damage in your item selection, then you can add Golden Order Greatsword to your options. Euporia This is a rare legendary twinblade found in Shadow of the Erdtree, and one of the most powerful Holy weapons in the DLC. Its unique skill, Euporia Vortex, is comparable to Comet Azur Spell, but it fires a holy beam instead of a beam of magic. Pretty tempting, isn’t it? But if you want to get Euporia, you’ll have to be prepared, as it’s located in the last area of Elden Ring DLC, so don’t rush to put it in your picks. Ordovis’s Greatsword This weapon has the standard moves of a Claymore greatsword, but its major strength lies in its skill, Ordovis’s Vortex. It’s the most powerful weapon in Strength-Faith builds like Paladin Build, as Faith can provide it with a very considerable AR boost, and Strength can bring you more bonus benefits. If you’ve considered Crucible Axe Set when choosing your weapon, why not swap it out for Ordovis’ Greatsword? They both do about the same amount of damage, but Ordovis’ Greatsword gives you more bang for your buck! These are some of the best choices for weapons and armor in Paladin Build. I hope it helps! Elden Ring DLC: This Top-Ti ...
Here, we bring you a deadly Samurai Build that wields a massive Nodachi that overwhelms its targets with maximum thrust damage and bleed procs. Even the strongest and toughest bosses in the game are no match for this build. So if you’re looking for a powerful Samurai, Bleed Great Katana Build is the one for you. In this guide, I’ll walk you through how to maximize this build, explain the challenges this build can face, and help you overcome them. Let’s get straight into it! Gameplay This build masters the art of wielding Great Katana and performs Goring Thrust, dealing massive amounts of damage to its targets and causing them to bleed in the process. But what makes it even more terrifying is mastering Bloodflame Incantations and using these spells to your advantage. This Bleed Great Katana is one of the most powerful builds in the game, making boss fights seem trivial and common enemies drop like flies. This build focuses on Strength and Dexterity as its main stats. Stats Let’s move on to the build’s stats. We allocated 50 points to Vigor to give the user a fair amount of survivability in combat. As always, if you feel that you really need more health when adapting to the gameplay of this build, you are welcome to adjust it to 60 points at any time. This setup requires a small amount of Focus to perform optimally, so we allocated 20 points to Mind. And for Endurance, 25 points is just right for this play style. Strength and Dexterity will be the main offensive attributes in this build, so we allocated 69 points to Strength and 63 points to Dexterity. In addition, Faith was increased by 25 points so that we can cast critical buffs later. Finally, Intelligence and Arcane did not increase any points. Gear It’s time to build gear, and Great Katana is making a comeback. This Great Katana requires 14 Strength and 18 Dexterity for the user to properly use the weapon. Meanwhile, it has B scaling for Strength, and B for Dexterity if the user sets it to Quality. Of course, you can also infuse the weapon with Quality Affinity to get better scaling, and thus a higher attack rating. Now, for the Ashes of War of Great Katana, we will be setting it up with Repeating Thrust. While Ash of War looks simple and straightforward, in this configuration it will deal a lot of damage while maintaining ease of use. Pressing L2 once will allow the user to perform a fierce multiple-hitting thrust that will cause the enemy to take continuous damage. This set of thrusts will not only deal tremendous damage as mentioned above, but will also effortlessly bleed the target, causing even more damage. Continuing with the secondary weapon of this build, you can use Finger Seal to be able to cast critical buffs and offensive spells later on. You can get this base Seal at Twin Maiden Husks for 800 Elden Ring Runes. Spells Next up, we have the spells we suggest. The first on the list is Flame Grant me Strength, which grants an additional 20% Physical Attack Boost and Stamina Recovery Buff. The second buff is, of course, Golden Vow. This buff increases overall damage by 15% and adds 10% damage negation, which is very helpful for this build. Next up is Bloodflame Blade, so we can drastically speed up the rate at which our targets bleed. It pairs well with Ash of War: Repeating Thrust, since this skill has a multi-attack animation. On the other hand, fire damage is just a bonus, and we’ll be relying on raw firepower with this configuration. Bloodboon will also make a comeback, since it fits the theme of the build and serves a diversity purpose. Like in the past, you can cast Bloodboon before approaching the boss, so you can increase your blood loss faster. This spell isn’t necessary, though, since you can mainly focus on dealing with Repeating Thrust alone and call it a day. Talismans Next up we have Talismans you need for this build. As always, first up is Shard of Alexander, which increases skill damage by 15%. The next Talisman for this build is Lord of Blood’s Exultation, as you’ll be dealing with fast and frequent bleed procs in this build. When it’s active, you can easily knock out a target and end the fight. If the enemy isn’t bleeding, you can swap out Lord of Blood’s Exultation for a Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman for increased survivability, or a Two-Headed Turtle Talisman for increased stamina regeneration. For the third and final slot, we’re dealing with fast multiple-hitting attacks as the major source of damage for this build, slotting in Millicent’s Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia are the best choices for this build. All of your attacks are fast and multi-hitting, so you can easily keep the attack boosts from these Talismans. Best Wondrous Physick Combination For Flask of Wondrous Physick Combination, slotting in Thorny Cracked Tear is a smart move for this build. Pair it with Bloodsucking Cracked Tear because the health loss in this configuration is not that devastating, since the enemies will die quickly, anyway. This will allow the user to have a glass cannon playstyle. However, if you find that the health loss per second from Bloodsucking Cracked Tear is too much, you can equip Greenburst Crystal Tear to restore stamina faster. Armor Set Continuing with its Armor Set. Since this build is a dark and edgy samurai theme, we equipped Iron Kasa as a headdress, Death Knight pieces as armor and gloves, and finally Leather Boots as greaves. This hybrid set works well and is definitely worth your time in the long run. Pros & Cons Finally, let’s talk about the pros and cons of this Bleed Great Katana from all aspects. Pros First, start with the pros. First of course is the insane damage output of this build. Without counting bleed procs, Repeating Thrust can already deal a ton of damage in this setup. Enemies that are resistant to bleeding will still die faster than with other setups. The amazing damage of this build is made even better by the fact that the build is able to deal bleed procs. Repeating Thrust can easily increase and deal bleeding to a target. Therefore, this makes the game a bit too easy. Also, dealing a ton of damage while keeping the build easy to use is also a huge plus. Mastering the timing of Repeating Thrust is pretty easy in my opinion. Repeating Thrust can stun enemies during the animation, so most of the time, humanoid targets can’t do anything with this setup. The last plus is the super high FP Efficiency of this build, which only requires 7 Focus Points per Repeating Thrust. Cons Moving on to the cons. To be honest, this is one of the setups that I can’t think of too many cons for. If you equip Bloodsucking Cracked Tear, without any HP Regen buffs, you’ll have this glass cannon playstyle that anyone can adapt to instantly. However, even without Bloodsucking Cracked Tear equipped, the user still does a ton of damage compared to other builds. The second downside is the lack of variety in the build. If you decide to focus on maxing out the attack rating of Great Katana, you’ll have very few stats to play with. Conclusion Overall, Bleed Great Katana Build is one of the best melee builds we have at the moment. It’s incredible to be able to deal huge burst damage with just one or two skill casts, while also maintaining the overall ease of use of the build. If you’re the type of player who likes to take it easy with violent sword thrusts and bleed procs while wanting focused and simple gameplay, this build is for you. If you want to find some like-minded players to discuss build ideas with, join iGMeet Discord, where you'll not only have the latest news you want to know, but also giveaway events from time to time to participate. Looking forward to seeing you here!Aug-07-2024

Elden Ring: Bring These Gea ...
It’s a well-known fact in many communities that Elden Ring DLC is difficult. Even for those who already have super high levels, weapons, and Spirit Ashes in the base game, navigating Shadow of the Erdtree can be a bit difficult. So before you even touch Withered Arm in the base game, you need to find the best gear, weapons, and more to prepare for your DLC journey. With this solid foundation, you’ll have more power in your quest. This guide will detail the effects of some Elden Ring Items so that you’re prepared before you enter Shadow of the Erdtree. Best Talismans Haligdrake Talisman +2 Throughout DLC, most of the hard bosses will cause Holy damage to you. Although there are many Talismans for Holy Damage negation in the base game, the 20% damage reduction effect of Haligdrake Talisman +2 is very outstanding in comparison. Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman And Pearldrake Talisman +2 These two Talismans are suitable for long-term wear in DLC, because they can greatly improve your overall defense ability in various battles. If you do find a better talisman and want to replace one of them, take Pearldrake Talisman. Because Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman can reduce your physical damage by about 10%. And throughout the game, almost all enemies will cause some physical damage to you more or less. So Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman must not be replaced casually. Great-Jar’s Arsenal Talisman This Talisman may not increase your damage or resist some damage like the previous two, it can only increase your equipment load by 20%. This will allow you to equip heavier armor, which will indirectly increase your defense. In addition, with the increased equipment loadout, you will also can equip the all-new Shadow of the Erdtree Armor sets. Bull-Goat Talisman Many enemies and bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree have extremely high attack speeds, which means you also need a high Poise attribute. Bull-Goat Talisman can increase your Poise by about 20%, even pushing it to 50 and 100 breakpoints. This can all be done without the help of heavier armor. Best Melee Weapons - Dexterity Weapons & Strength Weapons Dual Bleed Weapons Like some classic combos, Dual Rivers of Blood still performs as intended in DLC. In addition, there are many niche combos, such as Dual Bleed Scavengers Curved Swords or Twinblades, which can give you a greater chance of winning when facing some bosses that cannot resist Bleed effect. Heavy Thrusting Sword & Shield If you want to build a pure Dexterity build, Dragon King’s Cragblade will definitely give you a distinct surprise. Add Shield, and you can protect yourself while using Thrusting Sword. Moonveil Moonveil is originally an Intelligence attribute weapon, but it can also be used to enhance your Dexterity. This is also one of the best samurai swords in the base game of Elden Ring. Moonveil’s Ash of War lets you kill some enemies in DLC with one strike, and get to the last reward, Elden Ring Runes, faster, especially if you have very high Scadutree Blessing levels. Dual Greatswords The repeated Heavy attacks of Dual Greatswords can make many enemies paper-thin and very easy to attack, even some very challenging bosses. You can also use it with Starscourge Greatsword, which makes it very good in some mixed builds. Giant Crusher When you Two-Handed it, Giant Crusher can give you Defensive properties similar to a shield. If you use it with Deflecting Hardtear, you can play very good Guard Counters and Perfect Block damage from enemies. Blasphemous Blade Blasphemous Blade is a weapon that changes with your Faith. In Shadow of the Erdtree, you can use its Ash of War to attack Blackgaol Knight. Its Flame damage can counter many enemies in the game that are not resistant to this type of damage. Best Spells Comet When you use this skill, you fire some Comet forward and deal huge Magic damage to the enemy. Don’t worry about it being very short-lived, because it can be cast in rapid succession and can be charged to deal more damage. Glintstone Icecrag This skill differs from Comet. It fires a Freezing projectile forward, which forms Frostbite on the target it hits. Although Glintstone Icecrag is technically slightly weaker than Comet, the ability to form Frostbite makes up for the technical shortcomings. Greatblade Phalanx Greatblade Phalanx is a very good Phalanx-type spell in the base game, which summons three gigantic swords above your head and automatically tracks attackers. This skill can greatly help you break Poise faster when using Magic-Melee hybrid builds. Rock Sling Some enemies in DLC are somewhat resistant to magic damage, so most spells won’t do much Poise damage to them. But Rock Sling can cleverly solve these problems. It will lift three large rocks from the ground and deal a lot of Physical damage to your attack target. Shard Spiral Although it can deal less damage than the previous skills, it can continue to cause damage when facing large bosses such as Divine Beast while passing through large creature models.
