Diablo 4 DLC: How To Unlock Torment Difficulty To Get Ancestral Items?
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred features updates to gameplay and endgame systems. Players will notice the introduction of the new Torment difficulty system when logging in for the first time, which replaces the original World Tiers.
Now, ascending Torment tiers are key to exploring end-game content, while also providing a new way to adjust the challenge of the game to suit personal preferences. By clearing a T20 Pit dungeon, completing the campaign, and diving into higher difficulty challenges, players can unlock the most powerful gear in Diablo 4.
Welcome Back, Torment
Torment is an elective difficulty system introduced in Diablo 4. Players can unlock four Torment difficulty levels in the endgame. Each level significantly increases the challenge by increasing the monster’s damage and health and decreasing the player’s survivability.
Torment difficulty enables access to Ancestral items and can be master worked. Therefore, collecting a complete set of Ancestral gear becomes the key to dealing with the hardest Torment difficulties.
Torment Difficulty Tiers
Players will face four Torment difficulty tiers. As the difficulty increases, the health and attack power of all enemies will increase accordingly. In addition, higher Torment tiers also impose survivability debuffs on player characters.
Specifically, in Torment IV, for example, players need to double their armor and resistance in order to survive the endgame. While the effects of these curses can be mitigated through Paragon passives and gems, some top-tier gear may need to be played on Torment III or have higher difficulty to obtain and function.
Unlock Torment Tiers
Players need to unlock Torment Tiers by completing Pit, a timed dungeon located in Cerrigar. This endgame activity can be attempted after the campaign. Players must complete at least T20 Pit challenge. Higher difficulties require completing correspondingly higher Pit tiers to unlock. It’s unclear whether these unlocks are tied to accounts, but Pit tiers are.
Once T20 Pit is cleared, players can immediately begin experiencing the first Torment option. The pit tier corresponding to each torment tier can be used as an indicator to measure difficulty.
If your equipment configuration can easily handle T20 Pit, then you should also be able to handle the first Torment difficulty with ease. The difficulty increase from Torment I to Torment II is relatively small. You only need to strengthen the equipment with some Legendary aspects to pass the level smoothly.
The difficulty of Torment II is roughly equivalent to the level of T80-100 Nightmare Dungeons in Season 5. If your configuration is strong enough, you can survive this difficulty. Torment III’s difficulty is comparable to Wave 8 Infernal Hordes, which requires players to have an optimized setup.
The difficulty of Torment IV is comparable to T100 Pit in Season 5. The enemies here are more powerful than Torment III, and players must have the perfect optimal configuration to deal with them.
Torment Difficulty Rewards
While increasing the difficulty doesn’t significantly increase rewards like previous World Tiers, it does bring some extra rewards. The most obvious changes are the increased drop chances of Ancestral items and Diablo 4 Gold, which, aside from Mythic Uniques, is one of the best pieces of gear in the game.
Torment difficulties do affect the drop rate of Ancestral gear. As the Torment tier increases, the chance of obtaining these Ancestral gear also increases. In personal testing in the pre-release build, although there were not many Ancestral items obtained directly from monsters, the chance of obtaining Ancestral items through caches or activity clears increased significantly.
Additionally, in order to experience some of Diablo 4’s endgame content, specifically challenges such as Infernal Hordes and Dark Citadel, players will need to reach at least Torment I.
What Are Ancestral Items?
Ancestral items are more powerful variations of pre-existing Legendary and Unique gear. These Ancestral gears are available under Torment difficulties. The mechanics are now similar to previous seasons of Diablo 4, but Ancestral items are far more valuable than average Legendary. Its advantages are as follows:
- 800 Item Power: All Ancestral items have a base damage value of 800, which is the highest value in the game.
- Greater Affixes: Ancestral gear will have at least one Greater Affix, and random affixes will be boosted by 50%.
- Masterwork Limit: You can master an Ancestral item up to 12 times.
A fully upgraded Ancestral item may be twice as powerful as a regular Legendary, and even more powerful if you’re lucky enough to get multiple Greater Affixes. Uniques may also appear as Ancestral items and enjoy the same benefits. Mythic Uniques now always appear as Ancestral gear.
All Ancestral items you find will have at least a white asterisk Greater Affix, indicating that the attribute is more powerful than usual. Greater Affix will maximize its attribute values and increase its strength by 50%. Legendary gear can have up to three Greater Affixes. Uniques can have up to four Greater Affixes.
Although you can directly participate in other activities in the game after the campaign is over, increasing the difficulty of the game is an indispensable step in order to obtain Ancestral gear. In addition, you can follow Giveaway channel in iGMeet discord, which will release information about Diablo 4 related product gifts from time to time. Remember to be active in the discord group.

Diablo 4 Season 7 Ugly Bast ...
When you’re building a strong build in Diablo 4, you’ll probably want Uniques, which are gear with a lot of interesting passive affixes that can provide some very helpful buffs to your build, such as improving your survivability or combat ability. Usually, some Uniques can only play a major role in specific builds, but there are also some Uniques that are suitable for multiple Class builds because of their universal power and high flexibility. Ugly Bastard Helm is one of them. While this helmet is suitable for most builds, it has a huge buff to Berserking’s damage ability, so it will be more suitable for your Barbarian, especially if you are preparing to enter the endgame stage of Diablo 4, it will make your entire build have unstoppable damage ability. Given the power of Ugly Bastard Helm, you may need to get the specific affixes and unique effects of this helmet from this guide, as well as the effective methods of farming this unique, so that you can make an optimal Barbarian build as soon as possible. About Ugly Bastard Helm First, let’s take a look at the specific effectiveness of this helmet. When you use it in a non-Barbarian build, you can only get a 10%-85% increase in fire resistance. Although this will give you a certain increase in your defensive capabilities, it is not worth spending a lot of Diablo 4 Gold and energy for a non-Barbarian build to get a piece of gear with fire resistance, so it is not recommended here. But if you put this helmet in a Barbarian build, in addition to this fire resistance, your Aggressive Resistance will also increase by 1-3 levels to enhance the defensive capabilities of Barbarian build, which is already very solid. Not only that, although Ugly Bastard Helm is a defensive gear, your Prolific Fury will also increase by 2-5 points, and your Wrath of the Berserker skill cooldown will be reduced by 8%-12.5%, which will greatly enhance your damage ability and help you clear enemies faster. With the help of this Unique, the lack of damage in Barbarian build that was previously criticized by Diablo 4 players has been improved to a certain extent in Season 7. On top of that, if you use Lucky Hit in combat, you will have a 40% chance to deal 605-6,750 points of increased fire damage, which is something that users of this class could not imagine before. Although many gear exclusive to the Barbarian build in this season will provide it with strong fire damage buffs, the buffs it provides are directly applied to the original skills such as Prolific Fury or Wrath of the Berserker, so its buff value will be directly reflected in your combat and metadata. In contrast, Crown of Lucion provides a very small bonus, as there are few builds that can fully match it to take advantage of it. In addition, Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty and Godslayer Crown, although they can be used by many builds, the clearing speed bonus they provide is relatively small, so they are not suitable for use in the endgame. How To Farm Ugly Bastard Helm? While Ugly Bastard Helm is a Unique that will drop from any fight you have in Torment 1, this Legendary Unique Item is most commonly dropped from some endgame boss encounters, Kurast Undercity, The Pit, Purveyor of Curiosities, and Infernal Hordes. Of these, Purveyor of Curiosities and endgame boss encounters allow you to target this Ugly Bastard Helm for farming, because you can do targeted farming by looking at the loot list of the bosses or gambling for Caps at Purveyor of Curiosities. Unfortunately, Purveyor of Curiosities has been nerfed in the current season, so the best way to target this Unique effectively is to challenge Lord Zir in different Torment Tiers, which requires you to use some Diablo 4 Items to summon it. In the current season, Lord Zir can be summoned in Ancient’s Seat dungeon at any Torment difficulty, located in Darkened Way in Fractured Peaks. You need to have collected enough Exquisite Blood by completing Legion Events or defeating World Bosses, Helltide Blood Maiden, or Treasure Goblins. Each summoning of Lord Zir costs you 12 Exquisite Blood, so you need to get as many materials as possible from the above events so that you can quickly challenge Lord Zir at higher difficulties, which will increase the drop rate of Ugly Bastard Helm. Once you have collected all Exquisite Blood, you can place it in Bloodied Altar at a different Torment difficulty to complete the summoning of this boss. During the battle, you should stand in the corner as much as possible and prioritize killing the minions summoned by the boss, to ensure your own safety in order to obtain the final loot and Diablo 4 Gold. The above is the working principle and farming method of Ugly Bastard Helm, which is very important for Barbarian builds in Diablo 4 Season 7. I hope that you can use the more effective farming methods introduced in this guide to get this extremely useful gear into your Barbarian build quickly. I wish you a happy game!Feb-23-2025

Is Diablo 4 Still Worth Pla ...
In the past 2024, Diablo 4’s performance can be said to be very impressive, such as providing players with 4 seasons of different game content (Season 3 - Season 6), releasing the game’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred DLC, and various improvements in the game’s quality of life and mechanics. Of course, these outstanding achievements are presented to all players by the developers. Is this really the case? Unfortunately, in the summer of 2024, Diablo 4’s daily active players gradually decreased due to the impact of Elden Ring’s new expansion Shadow of the Erdtree. In the past December, because of the release of Path of Exile 2 Early Access, many D4 players have flowed to this game with plenty of gimmicks. So in the current 2025, is Diablo 4, a game that has been released for a year and a half, still worth exploring for players? In fact, there is no definite conclusion to this question, because it is uncertain what changes will happen to D4 or other games in 2025, and every player will definitely have an answer of their own. Here we will dialectically look at whether the game Diablo 4 is worth continuing to spend time and energy to play in the new year based on the needs of different groups of people. For Diablo 4 Enthusiasts For players who only love the excitement and crazy exploration experience brought by Diablo 4, 2025 is definitely a year worth continuing the exploration journey. First of all, in the first month of the year, January 21, Season 7 will be released. In this new season, you will feel that a new power called Witch Powers has been added to the game, which will make the complete game shrouded in a more mysterious color. Players familiar with this game must know that this is the tradition of Diablo 4. In each new season, players will be brought a system or mechanism that will make earth-shaking changes to the game content. For example, last season, Spiritborn that can use various animal spirits was added, which made a huge change in the build level in the game - Spiritborn build became the darling of players. Although Roadmap of Diablo 4 in 2025 has not been officially announced at this stage, under the condition that the developers carefully listen to the suggestions and feedback of players, its performance in 2025 will definitely not be too bad, and it can even attract more players with different skill levels to join it. So as a loyal fan of D4, are you looking forward to seeing more new players in the game? It is also worth explaining to you that in your future explorations, you can get more game products, such as items or gold, through the gift channel in iGMeet Discord, which will make your exploration in future seasons easier and more enjoyable. As Passerby Players For those players who often hang out in various MMORPGs, it is a bit unworthy to spend a lot of time and energy on Diablo 4. First, under the impact of many similar games, the number of daily active players of Diablo 4 is gradually decreasing, which makes it impossible for you to find enough teammates when you are exploring in a party form. Although Diablo 4 provides a lot of tolerance for some single-player exploration players, some late-game bosses or campaigns are very difficult to pass if explored alone, and even require nearly dozens of hours on them. This is very disadvantageous for players who have other game options, because they will directly give up this difficult grinding and turn to more interesting and simple activities in other games. More importantly, with the change of seasons, it takes more time and effort to obtain a large amount of Diablo 4 Gold in the game, and the demand for Gold in the game has also increased greatly, which will make players often feel that they can’t make ends meet and then give up the game. Speaking of spending, the overall cost of Diablo 4 is also much higher than similar games. First, the basic game requires you to spend $49.99. If you want to experience the game content in the new expansion, you have to spend $69.99 to get Vessel of Hatred expansion. For the same type of Last Epoch, you only need $34.99 to explore the basic game, and even Ultimate Edition only costs you $64.99. In this case, I believe that some passers-by players will be more willing to choose a more cost-effective game to play. Although Supporter Pack in Path of Exile 2 Early Access currently costs you $29.99 to get, given the grand storyline and more worthy game mechanics in this game, more passers-by players are more willing to explore it. Not only that, its original work, which was released nearly ten years ago, has always maintained an excellent reputation among many players, and the equally highly anticipated POE 3.26 is also expected to be released in February 2025. Under the impact of these two games, Diablo 4 may have even less market share, and fewer and fewer players will explore it. In addition, Elden Ring, which caused the initial impact on D4 last summer, will also launch a derivative game in 2025 called Elden Ring Nightreign, which will support players to play couch Co-Op, which is one feature that Diablo 4 players have always dreamed of. The announcement of this derivative game may cause D4, a game that is used to being self-contained, to be severely affected again. In general, if you are a player who has only explored Diablo 4, you can look forward to what new surprises the developers will bring you in 2025. But for those players who are just watching the fun, this game is not worth spending too much time and energy on, because there really won’t be any new moves. You can focus on new similar games or new expansions or sequels of some old games. I wish you a happy gaming journey in 2025!Jan-02-2025

Diablo 4 DLC: How To Get Ne ...
In the first expansion of Diablo 4, Vessel of Hatred DLC, a lot of new content has been added, such as new mechanics and new classes. But the most important thing for players to spend time researching is Runewords system, because it is not in the previous base game, and it can add a huge power boost to your character and gear. In Runewords system, the most important thing must be Runes. It is scattered all over the game, but you need to look carefully at it. This guide will introduce you to some methods to obtain these precious Runes and their specific uses. How To Farm Runes? There are many ways to get more runes in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, some of which are very easy, but some are very difficult. Although most methods have a sense of randomness, there are ways if you want to guarantee a certain rune. World Bosses Drops The easiest and most common way to get Runes is by defeating World Bosses, as they appear from chests or loot provided by enemies. Because of the randomness of farming, you should try to farm in places with a high density of enemies, such as The Pit or Helltides. Or you can challenge some higher difficulty enemies, such as directly challenging the enemies in Torment Difficulty Tiers. But it should be noted that you need to use Diablo 4 Gold in advance to make your build strong enough so that there will be no waste of resources or materials, and it is possible to get numerous Runes at once. Alternatively, you can also try to challenge some enemies with a lot of excellent loot in the new Kurast Undercity. They are also very worthwhile. Crafting Runes In addition to the above random methods of obtaining runes, you can also obtain some specific runes through crafting. You need to use three runes of the same rarity and craft different types of rarer runes at Jeweler. Of course, you can also use the crafting system at Jeweler and the runes you have to craft other Diablo 4 Items, such as Mythic Uniques that can provide you with very large buffs and very rare Resplendent Sparks. This means that you can get multiple Resplendent Sparks in this expansion and the current season of the base game of Diablo 4 - from Tormented Bosses, from Lilith, from the reputation system, and from this crafting system. Trade With Other Players In addition to the above two self-reliant methods, you can also trade the runes you want with other players, which will make you more sure that you can get the runes you want. But here, I need to remind you that trading is risky, so please always be vigilant. What Are Runes For? There are tons of runes available in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC, and they are divided into two categories: Runes of Invocation and Runes of Ritual. When you combine one of the two rune types together, these runes form Runewords. You can then insert them into any weapon, item, or gear piece with two slots. Rune of Ritual can generate resources called Offerings, which are used to trigger Runes of Invocation. This means that you need to have enough Offering for Runes of Invocation to work, and the stronger Invocation, the more Offering you need. The opposite is also true: the harder Rune of Ritual is to obtain, the more Offering they will generate, and the stronger the effect. So in short, only high-level or rare Rune of Ritual will make the entire Runewords have the strongest effect, which means that the build you put in will also become stronger. The following is the number of Offerings each Rune of Ritual can provide and the number of Offerings each Runes of Invocation requires. You can choose the corresponding rune combination based on this list, and the attributes of the items you want to equip. Runes Of Ritual Ahu - 10 Bac - 50 Cem - 50 Cir - 25 Feo - 1000 Kaa - 2 Lith - 25 Moni - 10 Neo - 300 Noc - 5 Poc - 2 Tam - 25 Ur - 10 Xol - 150 Yax - 100 Yul - 50 Zan - 150 Runes Of Ritual Ceh - 100 Eom - 100 Gar - 25 Jah - 500 Kry - 500 Lac - 800 Lum - 5 Met - 100 Mot - 150 Ner - 700 Ohm - 500 Ono - 25 Qax - 400 Qua - 400 Tal - 100 Teb - 100 Tec - 100 Thul - 400 Ton - 25 Tun - 100 Tzic - 250 Vex - 400 Wat - 100 Xal - 200 Xan - 700 Yom - 500 Zec - 200 There are currently three rarities of Runes - Magic Runes, Rare Runes and Legendary Runes. And each will increase the power and ability of Runewords according to its rarity. But here you need to be reminded that no matter how many slots you have in your weapon or other items, you can only equip a maximum of two Runewords at a time, which is 4 Runes. These are the methods to obtain and use runes in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC. You may need to try this combination of Runewords yourself, or you can also find combinations shared by other players in player communities such as iGMeet Discord. Most importantly, you will have a chance to get some Diablo 4 Gold or other rare items. Have fun playing the game!Oct-22-2024
