Diablo 4 DLC: How To Unlock All Mercenaries? - Raheir, Aldkin And More
Mercenaries serves as one of the core mechanism complemented to Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion. They will provide you with assistance and protection during the adventure in Sanctuary while you’re playing solo or have built a group.
This article details how Mercenary system works in Vessel of Hatred DLC, along with the function of each Mercenary to help you choose the appropriate one who achieve a fabulous combination with you.
How Does Mercenaries Work?
You are going to unlock Mercenary system as part of Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred campaign.
You will have an encounter with Raheir during the journey heading to Nahantu, who will lead your way to Mercenary Den where serves as a kind of center for all mercenaries in the game. And it is recommended to prepare useful items by spending some Diablo 4 Gold to help you deal with the difficulties along the way.
By completing designated quests, you are available to unlock additional mercenaries and customize them.
There are totally four mercenaries are on offer in the game. And they are:
- Raheir
- Aldkin
- Varyana
- Subo
It is noticeable that if you are a single player, please make sure that you have at least one additional Mercenary before kicking off Vessel of Hatred storyline. Or you will conclude by wasting a lot of Mercenary experience (Rapport) during the campaign. If you want to continue to complete the post-campaign quest, you need to collect all mercenaries.
For single players, you can assign any mercenary as your bodyguard to travel with you and protect you from being hurt. They can also be upgraded by working together to defeat monsters.
According to the game settings, Mercenaries are equipped with four skill points and a small skill tree, offering you the channel to customize them based on your needs. If you find that they are not suitable, you can always change Mercenaries.
If you have chosen a main Mercenary or playing with a team, you can also hire a second different Mercenary as a reinforcement. Reinforcements will only show up on some specific occasion that you have set. For an instance, you can set a trigger with your reinforcement, which supports you to summon them when use the certain skill that appears on your bar.
Reinforcements can also gain Rapport and upgrade with you during the combats.
With the support of hired bodyguards and reinforcements, Mercenary mechanism could make an overhaul change of the gameplay, especially for those players who play solo.
All Mercenary Abilities And Unlock Requirements
Raheir
As the first Mercenary who you are going to encounter in the game, Raheir is a must-see. You can discover him during the main Vessel of Hatred campaign who will introduce the entire system to you. Raheir is born to protect you and take the identity of a tank. The ability of him supports him to interrupt if you’re about to die, or taunt enemies to force them to change attack object.
He also serves as Den blacksmith who can able to fix or salvage your gear.
Aldkin
Aldkin nestles the right of Raheir in the den, who can be hired by completing “A Nameless Mystery” quest. This quest is relatively easy and is recommended to be completed immediately after unlocking Mercenary Den.
Aldkin is a type of Mercenaries who use magic, such as the often referred “kiss/curse”, which means that while they have a powerful benefit, they will inevitably cause harm to you.
Aldkin’s skills are surrounded with shadow and fire magic, and they occasionally transform into powerful demons that can cause significant damage to enemies or even kill them directly.
They also act as Den occultist and are available to enhance the performance of your gear with Legendary Aspects.
Varyana
Varyana nestles on the left side of Raheir in the den. After unlocking Mercenary Den, “Slayer’s Retribution” quest will appear, and completing this quest will allow you to hire Varyana.
Varyana serves as a martial warrior and is equipped with dual axes or a two-handed mace to cause serious damage.
Her primary skill is Massacre, which is aimed at offering you a powerful movement speed buff, making chaining bosses possible.
Subo
Subo nestles the far left side of Den, who can be recruited by achieving “A Feather on the Scale” quest.
The identity that Subo plays is Rogue in the team, which means that he is more suitable for long-range attacks. The weapons he equips are bow or crossbow.
The main skill he excels at is to highlight the location of enemies and valuable items in the area. He occasionally marks enemy targets, offering you a great opportunity to kill them and gain resources.
His abilities revolve around traps and stuns, and he can fire continuously, causing a lot of damage.

Diablo 4 Season 7 Fugitive ...
The arrival of Diablo 4 Season 7 introduces a brand new currency, Fugitive Heads. This is not only a necessary material for making Occult Gems, but can also be transformed into Restless Rot, which is an important resource for improving builds, so it is highly sought after by players in the new season. However, Fugitive Heads are very rare, and they are even rarer than Greater Affixes Legendary items under Torment difficulty. This is interesting for ordinary items, and it is entirely possible that players will not see a Head until they reach very high Paragon levels. Now let’s guide you step by step on how to get these Fugitive Heads. Using Draught Of Whispers First, if you have Draught of Whispers, use it first. This is a consumable elixir in Diablo 4 that increases your chance of encountering Fugitive Heads by 50%, and the effect lasts for one hour. Draught of Whispers can come from multiple sources, for example, they can come from Whisper Caches, or from Rootholds Dungeons, or from Headless Husks, all of which increase your chances of getting Fugitive Heads. Playing On The Highest Difficulty Next, you should play with the highest difficulty. You may have noticed that Fugitive Heads only drop at Torment difficulty. So if you play at any difficulty below Torment, you will hardly get any Fugitive Heads. And since the chance of getting Fugitive Heads increases with Torment Difficulty Tier. So ideally, if you want to maximize your farming efficiency, you should farm in Torment IV, if your character is capable of doing so. So, if you want to get more Heads in a short period of time, don’t be stingy about investing Diablo 4 Gold in your build to better optimize the build effect. Farming Headhunts By far, the best source of Fugitive Heads is Headhunts. These Headhunts are the new seasonal areas in Diablo 4, and all you have to do is go there and start doing Whispers, any Whisper objectives will do. This is because when you complete any Whisper objective in the new Headhunts area, Exposed Roots will spawn around. You should click on these Exposed Roots, and then a bunch of random things will happen. Of course, the most anticipated result is that after clicking on Exposed Roots, a boss will be summoned, so you have a better chance of getting a Fugitive Head drop. So you should run around in Headhunts and click on all Exposed Roots you find. If you are lucky, then clicking a few times will summon a boss. You know the boss has been summoned when you get a ping on your mini-map, but other people will get this prompt too. So if someone else clicks on Exposed Roots and then summons a boss, your map will also ping, and you should go there. So once your map pings, you know the boss will eventually spawn at this location. Now, this boss could be a Headless Husk. Unfortunately, you won’t drop a Fugitive Head when you kill it, but the boss itself has a random chance of spawning a Fugitive Head. The chance of a Fugitive Head spawning increases with each Difficulty Tier, and also with your Draught of Whispers applied. This is why you have to play on the highest difficulty, and ideally with Draught of Whispers buff. For example, if you play on the highest difficulty, Torment IV, and have Draught of Whispers buff applied, there is a 15% chance of a Fugitive Head spawning instead of a Headless Husk. The chance of this happening is less on lower difficulties, though, and this only applies to Torment Difficulty. Running Rootholds Dungeon Aside from that, Fugitive Heads can also be obtained from Rootholds Dungeon. Rootholds are mini-dungeons in Diablo 4 Season 7 that operate similarly to Nightmare Dungeons. To get into it, you need to prepare some Whispering Wood Sigils. These Sigils come from Whisper Caches, so when you farm Fugitive Heads in Headhunts, you can also get these Whispering Wood Sigils in your inventory by completing Whispers. When you enter Rootholds, you will go through a dungeon, and at the end of the dungeon you will meet a boss. This boss has a chance to be a Headless Husk and also has a chance to be a Fugitive Head. Unfortunately, the chance of them being Fugitive Heads is not very high. I think this way of collecting Fugitive Heads is not better than Headhunts. Because the chance of getting Fugitive Heads from Rootholds is very low, and it takes longer. Therefore, I only recommend going to Rootholds to get Fugitive Heads if you need items with Greater Affixes or if you have already completed all Headhunts and are waiting for the next Headhunt to appear. Summary Finally, let’s summarize it once more. We recommend that you prioritize collecting Fugitive Heads while running Headhunts, and don’t forget to run around completing Whisper objectives during this time, which will spawn Exposed Roots for you. You should click on all of these Exposed Roots and try to get the boss to spawn, and if any other player spawns a boss, you should also run to that place so that you have a chance to spawn and drop Fugitive Heads. If you have completed all Headhunts areas, then you can go into Rootholds Dungeon and try to get Fugitive Heads from there. Remember, for both Rootholds and Headhunts, you should use Draught of Whispers if you have them, as they increase your chances of getting Heads. If you are short of these items, then you might as well pay attention to iGMeet Discord, where the giveaway channel occasionally launches some sweepstakes. So hurry up and get active here. Maybe you will be the next lucky person!Jan-23-2025

Diablo 4 Season 7: How To W ...
On November 12, the developers of Diablo 4 series held a campfire chat, mainly communicating with players and announcing the content of the mid-term patch of Season 6. Although some information about Season 7 was revealed during the period, it was still very limited. In the following week, Diablo 4 was in the middle of Season 6, and with the release of patch 2.0.5 and the holding of some festive in-game activities, including red-cloaked horror and welcome back gifts for Eternal players, this week was very lively. However, since Season 7 is not far away, and in order to satisfy your curiosity, on November 21, the developers held another campfire chat, mainly announcing the main updates of Season 7 and patch 2.1 PTR. Based on this, we will introduce you to the two main updates on patch 2.1 PTR. 1. Powers Of Witchcraft Season 6 of Hatred Rising is still in progress and is expected to end in January and enter Season 7. But in order to present a better Season 7, the game developer will release patch 2.1 PTR on December 3 and last until December 10. In this PTR, you can not only test the new patch but also get to know the new Season 7 content for the first time. Among all the new content, the introduction of powers of Witchcraft is the first. If you have experienced Diablo 4 Season 2, you will know that you can use Vampiric powers and the addition of powers of Witchcraft in Season 7 will make it a new “seasonal power” and a new helper for you to get a lot of Diablo 4 Gold. How To Get Witchcraft? To get Witchcraft first in Season 7, you first need to collect a new currency, Restless Rot, by defeating Headrotten. Then head to the altar and trade Restless Rot for Witchcraft. As for how to equip Witchcraft, it’s actually similar to Sanguine Circle in Season 2. If you haven’t experienced Sanguine Circle, it doesn’t matter. You can just find an extra tab on the character menu to do it. Build A Witchcraft Season Reputation Board Once you have Witchcraft, you can continue to build a reputation board specifically for Witchcraft season, and Coven’s Favor will drop from Whispers. On top of that, you will earn Resplendent Sparks again by completing Witchcraft season reputation board, helping you craft Mythic Uniques. In addition, Whispers will also become more intense as the tree hunts for Headrotten. Headhunts will spawn in a similar area takeover style to Helltides, and feature all new Whispers activities, as well as some other activities you are familiar with. Completing these Whispers activities will give you a chance to encounter a Headrotten boss. Sending the heads of the boss to Tree of Whispers will also earn your Occult gems. What Are Occult Gems? As an item in Season 7, Occult gems will have a unique effect on the game and can be used to embed in item slots, thus providing you with some combat benefits. It is also worth noting that exploring Forgotten Altars in various dungeons in Sanctuary can unlock new powers. In fact, more than 20 new powers will be added in Season 7. 2. Quality Of Life Updates Before Diablo 4 2.1 version PTR, the game developer revealed not only Armory mechanism that makes it easier to save and exchange equipment, as well as a series of other changes in the campfire chat on November 21, but also many quality of life changes. The most important of these is the change of Paragon Board. Paragon Board Season 7 Update According to the latest news, Paragon Board in Season 7 will allow you to customize the build you need to use after reaching the game level cap. And starting from the next season, all Paragon experience you earn throughout the season will be added to your Eternal Realm progress. According to the development team, this Paragon experience migration mechanism will give you the opportunity to obtain rewards in Eternal Realm without having to worry about seasonal grinding. Changes To Ancestral Legendary Items In the future, the drop rate of Ancestral Legendary items will also be greatly increased in all levels of Diablo 4’s new Torment difficulty system. Higher drop rates can not only improve the level of game activities but also will not affect the important position of Ancestral Legendary items in the game. In addition, starting from Season 7, Ancestral Legendary items will definitely appear at the highest end of their Legendary Aspect level. Other Changes And Updates Other quality of life changes mainly include a redesigned system for unique power rolls, a gem fragment converter that can create Legendary items, and updates to class tasks. Of course, the above content is only part of the content of Season 7 and the 2.1 version PTR update. I believe that with the launch of both in the future, you will experience a more exciting Season 7. Related: Diablo 4 Promotions & Giveaways In addition, enter iGMeet Discord now, you cannot communicate with other Diablo 4 players, but also participate in the eighth giveaway event for Diablo 4 Season 6. We will draw 20 lucky players on December 2 to share 5000 Andariel Materials, 5000 Andariel Materials, 20000 Living Steel and 20000 Exquisite Blood equally. Remember to participate in time!Nov-25-2024

Diablo 4 Season 6: How To U ...
For MMORPGs, builds are one of the most efficient tools that players can use in battle, and this is also true in Diablo 4 series. A good build will effectively combine the skills, weapons, equipment and other elements available to your game character, allowing you to exert your greatest strength in battle and kill enemies faster. In Diablo 4 series of games, Rogue has always been a popular class. It is mainly popular with players for its excellent mobility and flexibility, and the class also has many powerful weapons that can be obtained and used through Diablo 4 Gold. Based on these characteristics, you will find that this class has many builds for you to use in battle. The most classic of them is Twisting Blades Build. In fact, this is not a new build that appeared in the sixth season, but it has appeared in previous seasons, but now it has undergone various updates and optimizations from players, making it more powerful and easier to use in Season of Hatred Rising. With that in mind, we’re going to show you how to use Rogue’s Twisting Blades Build in Season 6. The Right Skill Upgrade Order If you want your Twisting Blades Build to be successful before reaching the endgame, you need to unlock the right skills, and it’s best to upgrade them in a specific order from level 1 to 50. Here’s the best skill upgrade order for the first 10 levels: 1. Puncture 2. Enhanced Puncture 3. Twisting Blades 4. Enhanced Twisting Blades 5. Improved Twisting Blades 6. Fundamental Puncture 7. Shadow Step 8. Dash 9. Twisting Blades 10. Twisting Blades If you want to be a Rogue player who can become more powerful by using Twisting Blades Build, you should master these skills using reputation points. Doing so will make it easy to enter the endgame phase of the game with this build, regardless of whether you’re playing the campaign while upgrading. For Season 6’s Twisting Blades Build, the core skill is of course Twisting Blades, which is the skill you use most often when dealing damage to enemies, and you can also use Shadow and Poison Imbuements to enhance Twisting Blades. However, it is worth noting that you also need Puncture to obtain energy for power Twisting Blades. In addition, for optimal mobility, you need to make reasonable use of Shadow Step and Dash skills. They not only allow you to cross the battlefield but also weaken enemies and increase your critical hit chance. The Most Suitable Specialization Option If you know something about Rogue class or you have always been a Rogue player, you will know that this class has an exclusive enhancement mechanism, which is Specialization. In Diablo 4, there are three unique Rogue Specializations for you to choose one of them to equip to further enhance your build. If you want to match it with Twisting Blades Build, we recommend that you choose Combo Points Specialization. This way, when you use Twisting Blades Build, your basic skills will generate combo points. Once you have three points, you can consume them with core skills to gain additional combat benefits. If you cast Puncture three times after this, you can easily use Twisting Blades to destroy groups of enemies. Puncture also helps you keep yourself supplied with energy during combat. Because of the unique role of Combo Points Specialization, we recommend repeating some skills in the following rotation order so that your entire combat process is more coherent and effective: Poison Imbuement Shadow Step Puncture x3 Twisting Blades Shadow Imbuement Dash Puncture x3 Twisting Blades After you use Poison Imbuement first, which affects Shadow Step, once you rush into a group of enemies, remember to use Puncture three times to accumulate combo points before casting Twisting Blades with Imbuement. Then use Shadow Imbuement to make the enemy vulnerable. Then cast a Dash to slash enemies in your path, and repeat Puncture and Twisting Blades to use Combo Points Specialization ability. Finally, repeat the entire process until all enemies are defeated. Best Legendary Aspects With Twisting Blades Build, you can obtain many excellent Legendary Aspects through dungeons to further improve the power of this build. Aspect of Corruption-Renegade’s Retreat: Allows you to be more lethal to vulnerable enemies when using Imbuement skill. Bladedancer’s Aspect-Jalal’s Vigil: This aspect causes Twisting Blades to detour for a short time after returning to you, and each hit can also gain a certain percentage of the return damage. Vengeful Aspect-Inferno: Can cause further damage to vulnerable enemies, and has a chance to create Arrow Storm at the enemy’s location, causing physical damage for a short period. Aspect of Arrow Storms-Howling Warren: Uses Marksman and Cutthroat skills to cast Arrow Storm on enemies, causing corresponding damage. Aspect of Unstable Imbuements-Whispering Vault: Allows you to cause an explosion while using Imbuement skill and applies Imbuement effect to deal the same type of damage. Best Twisting Blades Build For PVP Mode Regarding PVP mode, we recommend that you use Twisting Blades Build for PVP Fields of Hatred. Here, this build is mainly centered on single-target damage, especially Twisting Blades, which always works against a single enemy. So it will be very suitable for dealing with relevant PVP modes. While Twisting Blades Build performs well in PVP, you can also try using Barrage Builds. Compared to Twisting Blades Build, they will perform better in this fast-paced environment. Hopefully, after understanding the above content, you will have a clearer idea of how to use Twisting Blades Build in Season 6. If you still have any confusion, you can enter iGMeet Discord to discuss with other online players and have a chance to win game prizes through the giveaway channel. Thank you for reading.Nov-20-2024

Diablo 4 Season 5: How To M ...
If you like to take down enemies in Diablo 4 in a fast and fierce way, then you will definitely like Twisting Blades Rogue build. In addition, this build is also one of the fastest builds you can make in Season of the Infernal Hordes, so Twisting Blades Rogue build is well worth your consideration. This Twisting Blades Rogue build is focused on rushing straight into enemies on the battlefield and engaging in a very flashy fight with them, whether in leveling or endgame phase. If you choose the right items and skills for it according to the suggestions in this guide, you will definitely find the joy of fighting in this build! It is important to note that this guide only covers the endgame build. You will need to complete the Of Lambs and Wolves quest to convert your leveling build into a proper endgame build. There are a lot of significant changes between the two builds that will affect how you handle endgame activities. Active Skills First, we will keep Twisting Blades, Shadow Step, Dash, and Poison Imbuement from the leveling build. Secondly, we will add new skills: Blade Shift, Dark Shroud, and Death Trap. Let’s take a look at each one. Blade Shift is a replacement for Puncture, but it does not hinder your movement like Puncture does. Instead, it increases your movement speed. This will give you more flexibility and mobility in the endgame. Next, this Subterfuge Skill called Dark Shroud will also increase your movement speed and your Critical Strike Chance will also increase. Finally, Death Trap is an Ultimate Skill that allows enemies to enter your set traps and detonate them. The amount of damage is unpredictable, and most importantly, when this skill successfully kills an enemy, its cooldown will be reduced by 12 seconds, which is very helpful when you kill some groups of enemies. Passive Skills Compared to Twisting Blades Rogue leveling build, more Passive Skills need to be added in the endgame build. The first point is Siphoning Strikes skill, which can turn Critical Strikes damage of enemies very close to you into healing elixirs, which will greatly increase your character’s survivability in the endgame. There are also two skills, Deadly Venom and Alchemical Advantage, which can increase your Poison damage to the enemy and provide you with attack speed and Lucky Hit Chance enhancements. Best Specialization For the choice of Specialization, Twisting Blades Rogue endgame build still uses Combo Points Specialization from the leveling build. When you cast Blade Shift three times, you generate three combo points, which you can then unleash with Twisting Blades and deal amazing damage. There is currently no replacement for Combo Points Specialization, as this Specialization allows you to run Nightmare Dungeons and The Pit in the endgame phase more easily to get the final Diablo 4 Gold reward. Skill Rotation Suggestions In Twisting Blades Rogue endgame build, you can rotate in the order of Poison, Imbuement, Shadow Step, Blade Shift x3, Twisting Blades, Dash, and finally Death Trap. Now let’s take a look at the specific reasons and rotation process. First, Poison Imbuement will make your Shadow Step deal some extra damage, and then you can use 3 Blade Shifts to generate the combo points just mentioned. Then use Twisting Blades to release these combo points and perform a series of impaling blades on the enemy, which will also have Poison damage. Then you can rush the enemy to increase your Critical Strike Chance. Finally, use Death Trap to make the ultimate attack on the enemy. This series of operations will definitely reduce the enemy’s health a lot, and your health will not be consumed. Legendary Aspects While you already have some great Legendary Aspects in your leveling build, the other Legendary Aspects in Sanctuary will make your Twisting Blades Rogue endgame build even more powerful. Here are Legendary Aspects you can choose from and what they do. Aspect of Disobedience: Dealing any damage grants increased armor for a few seconds. This effect stacks. Rapid Aspect: Increases attack speed of basic skills. Aspect of Nebulous Brews: Healing potions give you increased movement speed for a few seconds, can be drunk when full, and produce a potion every 20 meters traveled. Aspect of Volatile Shadows: When Dark Shroud’s shadow disappears it creates an explosion, dealing Shadow Damage and applying Shadow Inflict to each enemy hit. Galvanized Slasher’s Aspect: When you damage an enemy with a Mobility Skill, maybe your Energy will be fully restored. Your maximum Energy is also increased. That’s all for tips on skills and aspects on how to make your Twisting Blades Rogue endgame build stronger in Diablo 4 Season 5. Hopefully, you can win more boss encounters in the current season with this powerful build. If you’re interested in Diablo 4’s subsequent DLC and season, you can join the discussion in iGMeet Discord. If you’re lucky enough, you may even win some Uber Boss summoning materials through a lucky draw. The winners will be announced on September 18, so good luck!Sep-12-2024
