Elder Scrolls Online: 7 Side Quests You Should Prioritize In The Game
As a successful MMORPG, Elder Scrolls Online has maintained good popularity since its launch in 2014. To this day, an average of 30,000 players are still conducting various interesting explorations and battles on Tamriel continent every day.
If you are one of these players, then you must know that Tamriel is the main background continent in ESO. It is extremely vast, containing various game areas with different landforms and styles, and it is also the story foundation for the main storyline of the game.
But besides these contents, there are actually many rich side stories in ESO for you to complete. They not only have high-quality stories independent of the main storyline but also provide you with various props, including Elder Scrolls Online Gold as quest rewards.
Based on this, we will select 7 side quests worth completing for you among all the side quests in the current game.
1.Unearthed Quest
This quest is given to you by Foreman Gandis of Shor’s Stone Mine, who can be found in Skyrim, the cold but bustling northern region of Tamriel. He will then ask you to first free his men from Reachmen hiding in the ancient companion’s tomb.
After successfully passing the persuasion check, you can get a key to a secret door to make it faster through the mines and reach the tomb. However, the last chamber is protected by a puzzle, and this puzzle requires you to visit an antechamber to find Medallion of Fireheart, and then visit another antechamber to find Amulet of Darkhammer. Completing this will give you Gold, around 2800 XP, and Companion’s Chausses.
2. Summer Site
In the jungles of Bosmer homeland of Valenwood, you can talk to Tharuin the Melancholy near Dra’bul Wayshrine and learn that Falinesti Summer Site has been delayed in returning to the area. Tharuin explains that there have been recent lightning strikes and Daedra sightings nearby.
You then need to investigate these events. During the process, you will see a purple light emanating from a stone archway. When you approach, you will encounter a projection of a woman who seems to be trying to save the city.
She then instructs you to meet her in a small cave across a wooden bridge, which triggers a battle with Daedra. This means that the portal to Oblivion is closed and you need to start a boss fight with Tulu the Daedroth.
3. Ghostwriter Of Giovesse
Ghostwriter of Giovesse quest has a classic RPG style and starts with Author’s Assistant Wanted! flyer. In this quest, you need to provide assistance to the author Yisara, who usually appears in Egg and Hammer Inn in Gideon.
At first, it is just a simple escort mission, the purpose of which is to inspire Yisara to write the next novel. But as you progress through the quest, you’ll find that the quest plot is intertwined with Yisara’s novel ideas, leading you and Yisara to search for historical clues in the haunted halls of Castle Giovesse and solve the ultimate mystery to complete the quest.
4. Tempest Unleashed
To complete this quest, you first need to complete the prerequisite, which is to bring Maormer Ambassador Ulondil to justice. After that, you need to return to the port city of Mistral, where Sea Vipers have launched an attack on the docks and urgently need you to provide as much support as possible to the defenders.
During the counterattack, you need to clear the combatants on the docks and, under the guidance of the survivors, pass through the tavern and head to the mines. While passing through the wind tunnel in the mines, you will see a projection showing that Sea Vipers have captured the storm element and intend to use it to destroy Mistral.
5. Half-Formed Understandings
If you have been a loyal player of ESO, then you must be familiar with King of Worms Mannimarco. He first appears in Mages Guild questline in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, where he leads Necromancers. In ESO, he appears in the opening cinematic and will sacrifice your character to Molag Bal.
If you enjoy exploring the deep lore of Elder Scrolls Online, this quest is for you. As you complete the quest, you’ll get to see where it all began, tracing the events that led to Mannimarco’s expulsion from the mysterious Psijic Order and how he ended up in horrific experiments and the darkest depths of necromancy. Upon completion, you’ll also receive Staff of Forbidden Knowledge besides ESO Gold and XP.
6. Vanus Unleashed Daedra
One of the most well-known characters in Tamriel’s magicka lore and Mages Guild, Vanus Galerion is actually one of the most powerful magicians in all of Nirn, and it was he who founded Mages Guild. In this quest, you’ll need to assist him in destroying Great Shackle within Black Forge.
At the start of the quest, you’ll find a recording of Vanus outlining his plans, enabling you to join him. After entering this quest, you’ll need to restore Galerion’s stolen health, magicka, and stamina to restore his full power.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to defeat the dremora Kothutuilk and return the stolen energy to Galerion, who will then help you dismantle Great Shackle, completing the quest.
7. Harvest Heart
After Vanus Galerion has successfully taken over Chasm region, he’ll assign you another quest to take on vampires. To do this, you’ll enter Molag Bal’s realm and face off against his infamous Harvest Hearts. Vanus believes that the best way to deal with vampires is to defeat them and mark their sanctuaries with your own blood.
Completing each of these quests will reward you with Elder Scrolls Online Gold and a lot of XP, as well as some specific game items, which is a great deal.
Of course, these are not all the side quests in ESO. You can enter iGMeet Discord to communicate with other players about how to complete other side quests. In addition, the giveaway channel here will also distribute prizes regularly, so remember to join and check it out in time!

Elder Scrolls Online New Se ...
Since the end of 2024, Elder Scrolls Online has been announcing various new initiatives to show the game’s determination to become better as it enters its eleventh year. Now that 2025 has come to the fourth month, judging from the current performance, ESO has indeed fulfilled some of its promises. First of all, Fallen Banners dungeon DLC and update 45, which have been launched, are the first major new content launched by the game in 2025. They have good overall performance and player reviews. At the 2025 Direct held on April 10, ESO announced some new news through the April roadmap. Next, we will introduce you to three of the main contents. New Season - Seasons Of The Worm Cult In the past few years, the way Elder Scrolls Online has updated the game content on a large scale has been to release a larger expansion or other content every year, but starting in 2025, the game decided to follow the example of some MMORPGs and switch to a seasonal content model. This will shorten the time between new content releases, and the development team will be able to flexibly adjust the next work plan based on player feedback more quickly. Seasons Of The Worm Cult is undoubtedly the product of this change. It has landed on the PTS and is expected to be officially launched in June. From a plot perspective, it introduces a new area, the isle of Solstice, to bring a sequel to Molag Bal storyline in the original game, which takes place ten years later. What you have to do is to investigate the revival of Bal’s Worm Cult in the new area. The isle of Solstice is located near the southern coast of Tamriel and is home to the exiled elves and Argonians. The area has Caribbean-style beaches and tropical forests. While you need to advance the main storyline, the season is expected to bring a series of new events and quests that can provide ESO Gold as rewards to ensure that you have a stable source of gold. The season is expected to last for several months after the launch, which means that you may not see more new Elder Scrolls Online seasons this year, but this is the first season after the mode change, and it is common to need to run-in. In the coming years, seasons may be shorter, and new seasons may be launched in the form of remakes of old content, such as Dark Brotherhood. New Subclasses Mode In June, in addition to the new seasons, you are expected to experience the new subclass feature. It means that no matter which of the seven classes you initially choose in the game, you can also choose skills from up to two other classes’ skill lines to try. Considering the total number of classes and class skills, it is expected to bring more than 3,000 combinations. The addition of this feature was announced at the 2025 Direct not long ago. Although the development team did not reveal more details at the time, it is certain that first of all, this feature will be unlocked when your character level reaches 50, and you also need to keep at least one skill line from the main class. In other words, although a character can theoretically learn all non-main class skill lines, it can only actively use skills from two other class skill lines at a time. In addition, the unlocked subclass skill lines will apply to all characters in your account, and the unlocking of some class skill lines requires double skill points, but as long as you play the game frequently, this point is not difficult to obtain. New Experimental Content Although a lot of new content has been announced, the development team seems not satisfied with this and is still trying more possibilities. For example, they want to launch a new full-server event around this summer, based on the isle of Solstice, and set up a magic barrier called Writhing Wall here to divide Solstice into two. You and other players need to defend the island from the invasion of Worm Cult by collecting resources and finally break through the wall to unlock the second half of Solstice. Another test content worth noting is Cyrodiil Champions, which ended on March 31. This is a test content launched by ESO for the overload problem that has existed in Cyrodiil’s PVP mode for many years. As one of the features of the game, this mode is completely necessary to be optimized. In the test conducted from March 24 to 31, Cyrodiil Champions initially solved the original problem by significantly improving performance and greatly simplifying the skills and attributes of all players in Cyrodiil PVP mode. This not only means the success of the test, but also represents a milestone in the development process of the entire ESO. Even Cyrodiil Champions itself is expected to become a more mature in-game feature. In addition, in order to fully ensure the gaming experience of different player groups, the game’s tutorials and novice areas are also being updated, and Welcome Back system will be launched this summer. ESO development team said that this will be a task-based and reward-oriented system. In short, Elder Scrolls Online has proved to you with practical actions that they are indeed committed to developing the game better, and all you have to do is believe them and enjoy the game!Apr-15-2025

Elder Scrolls Online Update ...
Elder Scrolls series, with its fascinating story and highly free gameplay, once became the benchmark for open world games, and until 2025, this series still has a large number of loyal fans. Although Elder Scrolls 4 and 5 are very good, they only show players a small part of the world. Elder Scrolls Online continues to improve this world with continuous updates. The update 46 of Elder Scrolls Online will arrive. There is no doubt that this will be a major update. A lot of content will be announced in Elder Scrolls Online 2025 Direct. At that time, players will learn more about the new direction of Elder Scrolls Online, new features and modes, details of quarterly updates, and other things to look forward to. April In Elder Scrolls Online April will be very busy for Elder Scrolls Online, with various activities, rewards, the prologue quest of Update 46, 11th anniversary event, and the big Elder Scrolls Online Direct. The team has a roadmap for April with all the big events: April 10: Elder Scrolls Online Direct and Update 46 Prologue April 3-22: Elder Scrolls Online 11th Anniversary Event April 3-23: Elder Scrolls Online Golden Pursuits (including 3 Hero Sets) April 24-29: In-Game Bonus You can claim your daily login bonus starting April 1st, plus there are a number of bonuses to claim, including the new custom operation Murkmire Harvest! You can earn XP, new gear, and Elder Scrolls Online Gold in the next update! In addition, Fallen Banners dungeon DLC, which was coming to update 45, will also be introduced a new way to get it in the April 10th livestream. The update 46 prologue mission is expected on April 11th, when Kinda Funny Games partners will also launch its first episode, and another weekend of battlefield domination will be launched at the end of the month. Both streams will have Twitch Drops enabled, so you can link your account to Twitch while watching. Watch for more than 15 minutes to get 150% experience and a code for the 10th anniversary monkey as an in-game pet. What’s New In Update 46? DLC Reddit user DistanceFar7287 claims that next DLC is called Punished Dumac: A Dwemer’s Revenge. The DLC is about King Dumac Orc who survived the rampage of Dwemer. He created special Dwemer hormones that caused Nerevar to hallucinate and eventually killed him. He then came back from another dimension and he intends to take revenge on Chimer/Dunmer. The authenticity of this news remains to be verified. Although he showed a picture as evidence, the above description still has some loopholes. However, if this news is true, then players may find gold in the dungeons of the new DLC and also get new Dwemer equipment. New Area From the leaked pictures, this update will include a new area. This new area has many high elf buildings, and there are many Argonians running around in it, which is a bit strange. You know that high elves are notorious racists in Elder Scrolls, and Argonians are at the bottom. It is almost impossible for high elves to stay with Argonians, and therefore there is reason to suspect that this area is an area abandoned by high elves, and Argonians occupied this area after they left. This area will be a raid that can accommodate 12 people. You need to fight dangerous monsters and new bosses to win new rewards. Maybe it will include some high elf equipment and gold. Main Story The main story will also be promoted after the update of Update 46. Three heroes return in the trailer, and they basically represent different classes of players. The theme of Update 46 may be Seasons of the Worm Cult. Yes, this infamous cult is back again. Their secret weapon is the power of the dead, and you need to thwart their conspiracy against the entire Tamriel. You need to track down the returning worm cult. Players go to Eastmarch and find a hidden fortress where you will meet a necromancer. Then explore an island that has never been seen before. Explore the ancient Argonian ruins and find the power to end it all before Worm Cult brings destruction. In any case, I am glad that the main story is finally moving forward. The developers will launch a new chapter based on the previous story, which will bring some changes to the entire Tamriel. In addition, it is revealed that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be announced at the Summer Game Festival in 2025. Although I don’t think that The Elder Scrolls 6 can be released in 2025, it is still exciting. Elder Scrolls Online and Elder Scrolls series share a worldview, and this update of Elder Scrolls Online may have an impact on the background story of The Elder Scrolls 6.Apr-08-2025

Elder Scrolls Online: These ...
Welcome, fellow players! This time, I'll be reviewing some of the tank-related changes that appear in the upcoming Gold Road chapter in the patch notes of Elder Scrolls Online. Let me start by telling you that the Necromancer's Restoring Tether ability is receiving a 14% healing boost, aiming to align it more closely with similar healing abilities according to ESO spreadsheets. Blood Magic The Sorcerer's Blood Magic also receives a significant buff. Previously, this passive restored 10% of max HP whenever you dealt damage with a dark magic ability. From a tank's perspective, this meant you'd only proc Crystal Weapon, and then your next 2 light attacks would heal you for 10% of max HP. Now, it triggers whenever you cast a non-free dark magic ability. While it's a slight nerf for Crystal Weapon as it only procs once per cast instead of twice, you'll now also heal for 10% whenever you cast Firebrand, Shout, Dark Deal, and Daedric Refuge, which adds up, especially since Dark Deal and Vibrant Shroud already provide healing. Ayleid Refuge Let's begin with a discussion on sets, starting with the Ayleid Refuge. This heavy set, obtainable from Overland in West Wield, offers an intriguing perk: an 11% damage reduction for 3 seconds after blocking an attack. It's worth noting that tanks typically shy away from defensive item sets, largely because of the lack of compelling options in this category. However, the Ayleid Refuge shows some promise, albeit modest. While additional damage mitigation against blockable attacks may seem redundant, the set's potential lies in its ability to mitigate damage from other sources, such as DoT effects, following a successful block. Therefore, while it may not revolutionize tanking strategies, it could still prove beneficial in certain encounters. Lucent Echoes The next set I'll introduce is Lucent Echoes, originating from the new trial Lucent Citadel. Above 50% HP, it boosts allies' critical damage and healing by 11%. Below 50% HP, it grants a hefty 20% damage mitigation buff to the wearer. It's also essential to prepare for some ESO Gold in advance before the new chapter. This set may replace the Elemental Catalyst in trial compositions. While its crit damage bonus is slightly lower than Elemental Catalyst's potential 15%, it's manageable since some groups only require crit damage from 2 elements. With Lucent Echoes, we're at 101% of the crit damage cap of 125%. Arcanists reach 12% from Fated Fortune passive, while Wardens achieve similar values with 3 Animal Companions abilities. Templars and Nightblades gain 10% crit damage from class passives, reaching the cap with 7 medium pieces. Xoryn's Masterpiece Everything discussed regarding the replacement of the Elemental Catalyst remains valid. Xoryn's Masterpiece, the light healer set from the new trial, is unlikely to be utilized on tanks, but I included it for consideration as fitting support sets in team compositions is a collaborative effort. While it may occasionally land on a tank, its primary function is to grant 1,667 max stamina and magicka to all allies within 28 meters, equivalent to 158 weapon and spell damage. This makes it a weaker version of the Perfected Vestment of Olorime. Rourken Steamguards Next, let's discuss the Rourken Steamguards. While they might initially seem useless, the concept behind them was fascinating, despite their poor execution. These Mythic gloves introduce a Parrying mechanic to blocking, rewarding players for raising their block right before an attack hits. Ideally, this mechanic would be an innate part of ESO combat rather than limited to a Mythic item. However, the issue lies because this Mythic only grants increased damage mitigation for a brief period. At that point, it seems more efficient to dodge the attack entirely. A successful Parrying mechanic with Mythic should offer additional benefits, such as resource restoration, buffs, or enemy debuffs, rather than just providing a temporary damage reduction. The 10-second cooldown further diminishes its effectiveness, as players would need to refrain from blocking for a significant period.Apr-22-2024
