Elden Ring: Try Some New Builds Ideas In Shadow Of The Erdtree!
While Elden Ring isn’t really a game that allows for full player expression and creativity, it does allow you to customize your builds to your liking, giving you a great deal of freedom. The game world and boss fights may play out in much the same way, but you can use different play styles and builds to handle different situations. There are a lot of options for a variety of playability in this game.
After the release of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, things got even better, as the new DLC provides players with a ton of new weapons and amulets that work perfectly with items in the base game, allowing you to achieve extraordinary builds.
But if you’ve already tried a lot of ordinary builds, check out this guide to get some new build ideas. It should be noted that these builds may only be suitable for the DLC at the moment, and we will continue to follow up on the builds in the base game later!
Perfumer Build
Perfumer Build seems to have been nerfed in the latest patch, but this build based on the new DLC can easily reduce the health of the boss. In this build, you can combine the fully upgraded Lightning Perfume Bottle and Rolling Sparks Ash of War to give you huge lightning damage. And add Lightning Shrouding Cracked Tear and Lightning Scorpion Charm to deal even more damage to enemies!
Perfumer Build is actually an Arcane spellcaster build, so you don’t need to invest in intelligence and arcane here. In addition, the weapons based on this build do not rely on Ash of War or Spells, so you don’t need a lot of FP.
Rakshasa Bleed Build
If you want to face the final boss of the DLC and be able to defeat it easily, then you can definitely try Rakshasa Bleed Build. This is a high risk but high reward build that relies heavily on your high mobility. Your rewards will be a large number of Elden Ring Runes and special weapons and armor.
In this build, you can use Rakshsha’s Set and Bloodsucking Cracked Tear, trading lower defense for more damage. Secondly, Rakshaha’s Great Katana will also use its own bleed build up to help you end the battle quickly.
In combat, if you are used to ranged attacks, you may not be suitable for this build, but if you enjoy the excitement of close combat, you will definitely like Rakshasa Bleed Build.
Bloodfiend Bonk Stick Build
Next up is a bleed build, and even if you’ve tried many bleed options, Bloodfiend Bonk Stick Build will definitely give you a fresh feel. In this build, Bloodfiend’s Arm is a weapon that can provide you with huge physical damage, and it also bursts out arcane-driven bleed damage when charging attacks.
In addition, you equip Two-Handed Sword Talisman and Axe Talisman, plus Viridian Hidden Tear, and you can participate in almost every battle in DLC. As the battle progresses, your bleed effects will also begin, and the enemy’s health will be reduced unknowingly.
Ancient Meteoric Build
If you use this build during Ruined Forge Starfall Past, it is equivalent to finding a very powerful weapon in the entire DLC. This not only can cause a lot of damage, but it can also extend to your strength and arcane attributes.
In addition to this, you can use Solitude Set and Verdigis Discus to give you a little more defense and make you more tanky. Secondly, you can also use White Light Charge Ash of War to give yourself the icing on the cake, which is very useful when you face large enemies.
Backhand Blade Dex Build
Although you need to start searching for Scorched Ruins as soon as you enter the DLC. Backhand Blade in this area may not look so outstanding, but if you dare to take the risk, you will find that Ash of War of this weapon-Blind Spot, which makes Backhand Blade Dex Build a very interesting build.
It should be reminded that in order to avoid excessive use of Blind Spot and over-consume your own stamina, you can use Greenburst Tear or Two-Headed Turtle Talisman to protect your own health. You can also apply some blood fat on the weapon to increase these weapons, and you will have a very fast-paced but smooth build that makes it impossible for the enemy to catch you.
Iron Dancer Build
Iron Dancer Build is somewhat similar to Backhand Blade Build, in that both builds are meant to hit as many enemies as possible. Unlike Backhand Blade Build, however, this build relies more heavily on the strength and defense provided by Ironjar Aromatic.
It may make you heavier overall when you equip these consumables, but you’ll have a delicate balance. You don’t have to worry about your movement speed, though, because Ash of War Unending Dance of this weapon lets you dish out rapid, continuous damage to your enemies.
Often you’re only able to whittle down their health bit by bit before they can do the same to you. Sure, it removes any nuance or challenge from combat, but there’s no denying that it’s a satisfying, cathartic structure, save for the novelty of melting away an enemy’s health bar.
After reading this guide, open the game and enter the DLC to try out some of these new builds! I believe it will definitely give you a surprise, and I wish you a happy exploration!

Elden Ring DLC: How To Mast ...
The most attractive items in Elden Ring are the armor and sets scattered around, which are essential for players who want to defeat powerful enemies. Many armors are equipped with unique defensive properties, which are effective against various elemental attacks and different types of damage. Read this guide to learn about the value and unique characteristics of these armors. 10. Divine Beast Head Divine Beast Head is the head of divine beast dancing lion that players must fight in Belurat Tower. This mask provides players with significant strength and dexterity increases, while also enhancing storm-related skills. Specifically, the player’s strength and dexterity are increased by 4 points each, making Divine Beast Head mask one of the most significant armors in the game. However, to balance this tremendous advantage, the helmet also weakens the effect of flasks and affects the player’s concentration. 9. Royal Remains Set Royal Remains Set is made of decayed and rusted metal. After wearing this armor set, the player will look like a living undead skeleton. This armor provides the player with a passive healing over time effect, which is a unique feature for an armor set. It is also great for those who are not too keen on managing health potions in combat. 8. Twinsage Glintstone Crown Twinsage Glintstone Crown is a tremendous boost to all mage builds. The crown makes the player look like two large stone heads fused together at the ears. The helmet increases the player’s intellect by 6 points, allowing many players to easily meet their spell and weapon requirements after equipping the helmet. However, wearing the helmet also comes at the cost of the player’s maximum HP and stamina, which are reduced by 9% respectively. For many mages, the benefits of this armor outweigh its disadvantages. 7. Mushroom Crown Tailored to the theme of rot and decay, Mushroom Crown is perfect for any scarlet rot or poison-based build. After inflicting a scarlet rot or poison status nearby, this helmet greatly enhances all damage. The damage boost applies 10% to all instances of damage for approximately 20 seconds. This buff can also stack with other poison-related buffs. 6. Black Knife Armor Black Knife Armor is adorned with a unique set of pearlescent scales, with a translucent cape covering the chest plate. This set of armor provides the wearer with complete stealth, allowing them to fulfill their dream of being an assassin in Lands Between. Players can get close to their enemies without alerting them. 5. Rakshasa Set Rakshasa Set is stained with blood, reeking of bloodshed and carnage. This set of armor provides the wearer with 8% overall damage boost. This is a significant boost, as it applies to all damage dealt by the player wearing it. However, the armor also effectively makes the player take the same percentage of damage. 4. High Priest Hat High Priest Hat is a very valuable piece of armor that many people may overlook. Obtained after completing Count Ymir questline in Cathedral of Manus Metyr, this helmet increases the intellect and arcane stats by 1 each. While this isn't the biggest boost in the game, it is free. It is one of the few Elden Ring Items in the game that gives a free dual stat boost. 3. Silver Tear Helmet Silver Tear Helmet is one of the biggest and most valuable stat boosters in the game. This mask features a unique design of a liquid metal teardrop on the player’s face. This helm maximizes the arcane stat, boosting it by a massive 8 points. However, this tremendous advantage also comes with a corresponding disadvantage. Equipping this mask will reduce physical damage output. But for any player who wants to create the most powerful arcane builds, this mask is a good choice. 2. Imp Heads Imp Heads are one of the most common enemy types in Catacombs, usually appearing in conjunction with Skeletons. Defeating these enemies can yield some valuable rewards. Each imp type has its own weapon and signature helmet, and each imp has a chance to drop its own unique helmet that provides different stat buffs to the player. However, some helmets have a drop chance of only 0.5%. After equipping these helmets, you will get a nice 2-point stat boost to intellect, strength, dexterity, and even endurance. 1. Guardian Garb Guardian Garb is worn by enemy guardians in Minor Erdtree. Any player who equips this chest armor will receive increased healing from flasks of crimson tears. Healing from a flask of sacred tears can be increased by 10%, and in some cases the player can even receive additional healing. However, this armor will reduce the player’s overall fire resistance. These armors not only help players gain an advantage in combat, but can also be selected according to different combat styles and needs. Whether pursuing strength, intelligence, or dexterity, the armor in Elden Ring can provide powerful support for players. Elden Ring DLC: How To Buil ...
Souls games like Elden Ring have always had fantasy elements that are one of the biggest highlights of the game. In this popular game, you can play various characters, such as Mages, Knights, Samurai, and more. In addition, you can also use some hybrid classes, such as Paladin and Spellblade, which are mostly built around two or more attack attributes. When talking about Paladin, most players may think of him using his power to support or heal his allies. But in fact, he also has very powerful offensive abilities. This guide will help you choose the best items for your Paladin build in two aspects: armor and weapons. Depending on your gaming style and usage habits, you can choose the most useful ones. Best Armors When choosing Armors in Elden Ring, you need to consider not only the defensive stats of Armors but also the fashion, because this best represents the theme of the entire build. Paladin is introduced as a glorified holy knight, so you should be able to find several armor sets that match him in Shadow of the Erdtree. Solitude Set This is a new armor set added in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has become a new favorite among players because it is very similar to Guts’ armor in the previous base game. Although this armor set looks very grim, it is indeed the most suitable for knight-like builds. Blackflame Monk Set Besides Grim Armor Set, another armor set that can be selected for Paladin Build is Blackflame Monk Set. In this dark and eerie Land of Shadow, the dark white and hooded Blackflame Monk Set will stand out more. But collecting Blackflame Monk Set is not a straightforward task, because there are only a few places where Blackflame Monks can be found, and even after you defeat him, the chance of dropping the parts in the set is very low. Even if you don’t get a full set of armor, don’t be discouraged. You will still get a lot of Elden Ring Runes. Haligtree Knight Set Gold is the symbol of Holy, whether in the base game of Elden Ring or in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The helmet in Haligtree Knight Set has a light golden hue, and there is a golden embroidery of Miquella’s Haligtree on the chest armor. This matches the description of the holy knight. Besides this appearance that is very suitable for Paladin Build, the entire armor set can also increase your Faith by 2 points. Don’t underestimate this number, it may make you burst out with powerful power in battle! Leyndell Knight Set The design of this set of armor is actually very similar to Haligtree Knight Set, but the golden hue will be a little stronger, which also means that the color of Holy will be stronger. Because it was originally designed to protect the knights who defended Royal Capital Leyndell, and Leyndell was always bathed in golden light at the foot of the Erdtree, Leyndell Knight Set would be more suitable for such a very powerful knight than Haligtree Knight Set. Tree Sentinel Set In Elden Ring, you will see Tree Sentinels everywhere, and they are also wearing golden armor. It is for this reason that Tree Sentinel Set has become the easiest armor set to get in Paladin Build. The posture of Tree Sentinel Set is very elegant, and its golden appearance matches the holy Erdtree incantations very well. If you use it in Land of Shadow, it may make your Paladin Build more eye-catching. In addition to the above armor sets, you can also choose other ones according to the habits of the used builds, such as Royal Knight Set, Malformed Dragon Set, Crucible Axe Set, and Crucible Tree Set. But it should be noted that you need to replace the helmet in Malformed Dragon Set. Best Weapons Elden Ring DLC also provides you with a lot of Holy weapons that can deal Holy damage to supplement the Paladin Build. In addition, you can also use some non-unique weapons infused with Ash of War to adapt this Strength-Faith build. Miquellan Knight’s Sword / Inseparable Sword Although Miquellan Knight’s Sword is a straight sword, both weapons have the same Ash of War, called Sacred Blade. After you have it, when you use both weapons, you will release the skill of firing holy projectiles. If you think these two weapons are too difficult to obtain, or the required attributes are too difficult, then you can directly get Ash of War Sacred Blade from Limgrave using Elden Ring Runes, which can be infused into any type of weapon. Golden Order Greatsword It is one of the few legendary armaments in the entire Elden Ring, forged by the second Elden Lord Radagon. This weapon is also a symbol of the tenets of Golden Order, so from this you should know that it also has the nature of Holy and is the best weapon for Paladin Build. But you may need to pay attention to it. Its Ash of War Establish Order is not very effective. So if you focus on the theme of the build rather than the damage in your item selection, then you can add Golden Order Greatsword to your options. Euporia This is a rare legendary twinblade found in Shadow of the Erdtree, and one of the most powerful Holy weapons in the DLC. Its unique skill, Euporia Vortex, is comparable to Comet Azur Spell, but it fires a holy beam instead of a beam of magic. Pretty tempting, isn’t it? But if you want to get Euporia, you’ll have to be prepared, as it’s located in the last area of Elden Ring DLC, so don’t rush to put it in your picks. Ordovis’s Greatsword This weapon has the standard moves of a Claymore greatsword, but its major strength lies in its skill, Ordovis’s Vortex. It’s the most powerful weapon in Strength-Faith builds like Paladin Build, as Faith can provide it with a very considerable AR boost, and Strength can bring you more bonus benefits. If you’ve considered Crucible Axe Set when choosing your weapon, why not swap it out for Ordovis’ Greatsword? They both do about the same amount of damage, but Ordovis’ Greatsword gives you more bang for your buck! These are some of the best choices for weapons and armor in Paladin Build. I hope it helps! Elden Ring: How To Expand Y ...
In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, there is an NPC called Twin Maiden Husks. When you give her a special item, Bell Bearing, you will expand your shop a little. Although you don’t need to find all Bell Bearings in DLC, there may be some players who like to collect them all. If you are one of them, this guide will help you by detailing the location of some Bell Bearings. Most of Bell Bearings in Shadow of the Erdtree are hidden in pots, so you need to use ranged attacks to break the pot. So before you start your search, please prepare your ranged weapons. Greasemonger's Bell Bearing If you want to get Greasemonger Bell Bearing, you’ll need to start at Grace Ruins on High Road in Church District of Skad Altas. From there, head southeast for a short distance, then head south at the right point, keeping the cliff face to your right. Continue along this south path, and you’ll eventually reach a cliff face with a pot hanging from it. You can use your ranged weapon, such as a bow, to shoot the pot. Eventually, Greasemonger’s Bell Bearing will fall to the ground. Herbalist's Bell Bearing In theory, you can find the pot containing Herbalist’s Bell Bearing on the road between Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace and Dragon’s Pit in Scadu Altus. However, in actual gameplay, you’ll find that you’re surrounded by two cliffs on this road, which is actually difficult to move, so you need to be extremely careful. The pot is on the western wall. Igon's Bell Bearing You can get Igon’s Bell Bearing directly by completing Igon’s questline, without breaking any pots or containers. If you think it’s more cost-effective to kill this NPC directly than to complete his quest line - in addition to obtaining Igon’s Bell Bearing, there are also a lot of Elden Ring Runes, so you can kill him first without following the rules. Moldmonger's Bell Bearing Moldmonger’s Bell Bearing is a bit tricky to get. You need to go to Ruins of Unte in Shadow of the Erdtree, then head south across the water and follow the path along the cliffs toward the waterfall. During this expedition, you will need to use Torrent to jump over gaps. This path will eventually lead you to Rescluses’ River Downstream Site of Grace. Remember to look up the cliffs to the northeast to find the pot containing Moldmonger’s Bell Bearing. It is important to note that you need to use the small platform extending from the southeast of Recluses’ River Downstream Site of Grace to reach the location where Moldmonger’s Bell Bearing falls. Moore's Bell Bearing Moore is an NPC in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. He can be found at Main Gate Cross Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. He is unique among the other NPCs that can obtain Bell Bearings because you can obtain his Bell Bearing in several ways. First you need to kill a Forager Brood in Shadow of the Erdtree, then go to the place mentioned above and talk to Moore. Then kill another Forager Brood to allow Moore to invade. After that, you can return to Main Gate Cross and pick up Moore’s Bell Bearing. When you see the message “Somewhere, a great rune has broken.” in Shadow of the Erdtree, you still have to go to Main Gate Cross to find Moore and tell him: “Put it behind you.” After you complete the critical path of the entire DLC, you can force a battle with Moore, and you will eventually find Moore’s Bell Bearing on his body. The premise is the same as the second method, but this time you need to tell Moore: “Remain sad forever.” This will trigger a different ending - you will eventually find his body north of Church of Crusade in Scadu Altus. But the ending is still the same. You can find some Elden Ring Runes and Moore’s Bell Bearing on his body. Mushroom-Seller's Bell Bearing (1) This Bell Bearing is also located near Castle Front Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. Once you reach this location, descend into Poison Swamp. You will need to cross this area to reach a small freshwater pool. Be careful of poison. Enter a cave along the southwest edge of the pool and walk west until you reach Ellac River Cave Site of Grace. You can take a break here to adjust, but be careful not to stay there too long. The exit is on the west side of the cave, and once you are out of the cave, ride north across the water. This path will take you to a waterfall, but don’t go in. Instead, turn west at the end and keep going until you reach a grassy path. This path will allow you to follow the cliff face. As you walk, keep an eye out for the pot containing Mushroom-Seller’s Bell Bearing (1). Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing To get Spellmachinist’s Bell Bearing, you must first go to the top of Rabbath’s Rise. When you enter the top, don’t think that this Elden Ring Item will be given to you so easily. You also need to jump down from the walkway to get closer to the corpse with Spellmachinist’s Bell Bearing. This guide only introduces some of the more important Bell Bearings in Shadow of the Erdtree. The remaining hidden models are waiting for your own exploration!Jul-09-2024

Elden Ring: Developers Crea ...
While Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was a success overall, as it gave players a lot of new content to explore, many players felt cheated by the developers after experiencing the DLC, as it did not live up to its promises. During the promotion, the developers said that Shadow of the Erdtree included a lot of important revelations and basic backgrounds from the base game, and completely redefined most of the base game. But this is not the case. This article will list a few examples of developers “cheating” players, hoping that late DLCs can be improved. The Earliest Trailer Image In the earliest trailer image of Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Miquella was riding Torrent. However, after players completed the entire DLC’s quests and main storyline, they found that Miquella and Torrent had never appeared or been described together in the game. Although the figure in the picture only has a back view, based on the special length and braids, as well as the white clothing, it is roughly Miquella. The white wildebeest is also believed to be Torrent, because no other such creature appears in the base game of Elden Ring. Therefore, many players will think that some clear connection between Torrent and Miquella will be explored in Shadow of the Erdtree, but in the actual game content, it has not yet. Although Miquella and Torrent both appear in the DLC, their identities are completely different. There is also no indication that they have been seen before, let alone Miquella will ride Torrent through Shadow Land, as shown in the picture. Although the DLC is very interesting in terms of new content, this will still disappoint some players, because there is also less explanation about Torrent in the base game, making it more mysterious. Very Little About Torrent As mentioned earlier, there is no further explanation of Torrent’s lore in Shadow of the Erdtree, and a brief explanation in the base game, which makes players know nothing about Torrent’s mystery. However, based on the concept of art in the trailer, we can infer something about this Elden Ring’s spectral steed. At the beginning, Melina gave them a Spectral Steed Whistle when she first met the Tarnished to summon Torrent. But her mind is more than just a simple gift, because before meeting Melina, Torrent had already chosen Tarnished to help him seize the Elden Ring. In the final storyline of the DLC, Melina admitted this after defeating Godrick. So, although Torrent seems to be on Melina’s side, it already has its own thoughts, conscience, and preferences to help him make the right decision. Witch Ranni is one of the few NPCs who knows Torrent’s name, both in the base game and in the DLC. When you talk to Ranni after Tarnished is first in Church of Elleh, she will reveal Torrent’s name to you. Read More: How To Defeat Promised Consort Radahn In Elden Ring? - Five Builds For You During the conversation, she will hear that the enemies are riding a spectral steed, which triggers Torrent’s name, and will give Tarnished a gift said to be from Torrent’s previous owner - Spirit Calling Bell. This item will allow you to summon Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring. In addition to this, Ranni will tell you two important pieces of information: the first is that Torrent once had an owner, and Ranni knows him. The second is that if you can find that owner, it will only benefit Tarnished’s success. But when the same Tarnished begin to follow Miquella's soldiers, posing a threat to them, Miquella is forced to join, becoming the enemy you need to fight in the game, and will provide you with a tons of Elden Ring Runes and the ultimate weapon. In the concept art of Shadow of the Erdtree - the teaser image, it may be hinted that Miquella is Torrent’s previous owner. At the end of Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Miquella will tell you that she and Tarnished have the same goal - to end Golden Order’s tyranny and usher in a new era. Many players will guess that when Torrent was running around Land of Shadow, he left his former master in Lands Between, and could find Tarnished by smell and form an alliance in Land of Shadow. But when the same Tarnished began to follow Miquella’s soldiers and posed a threat to it, Miquella was forced to join and become the enemy you need to fight in the game. In these hints, the connection between Miquella and Torrent has always been subtle, vague, and contradictory. But I believe that players who often come into contact with FromSoft’s series of games should have become accustomed to this kind of vague and contradictory legend, and are accustomed to relying on these discontinuous points to piece together the complete storyline. In Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, there are still many mysterious things waiting for you to explore, and I hope to see you in Land of Shadow!Jul-11-2024
