Diablo 4 Season 9 Unique Item Nerfs: Which Classes Are Affected The Most?
Horadric Spells in Diablo 4 Season 9 look more fun than Boss Powers, at least they are more flexible. But don’t be too happy, becasue as usual, many unique items that performed too well in Season 8 or exceeded the developers’ expectations will be nerfed.
In addition, the damage of a very important mechanism, Overpower, will be nerfed to 20% of its original value! This means that many builds that rely on this mechanism will be severely hit. Players are also surprised by this, but they are surprised why this mechanism was nerfed until in season 9.
Function of Overpower is to allow some classes with high health to cause damage. The higher the character’s health, the higher Overpower damage that can be caused. The problem is that it performs a little too well, resulting in the builds that use this mechanism in the first few seasons 9 almost notifying the build rankings of Diablo 4. After all, who can refuse a build with high damage and high health?
General Unique Itmes
- Banished Lord’s Talisman: Overpower Damage reduced by 5%
- Locran’s Talisman: All elemental resistance reduced by 2%
- Paingorger’s Gauntlets: Unique effect damage reduced by 25%
- Rakanoth’s Wake: All elemental resistance reduced by 15%
- Shard of Verathiel: Unique effect damage limit reduced by 50%
- Yen’s Blessing: All elemental resistance reduced by 15%
The reduction of general unique Diablo 4 items basically represents the focus of Season 9, which is Overpower and elemental resistance. The reduction of these two aspects will reduce the survivability of Season 9 characters and indirectly increase the difficulty of the game.
However, players can drink elixirs before entering the dungeon to improve their survivability, and exploring the dungeon will get materials and Diablo 4 gold so that players can make new elixirs.
Barbarian Unique Items
- Arreat’s Bearing: Reduced all elemental resistance by 15%
- Ramaladni’s Magnum Opus: Reduced Overpower Damage by 5%
- Twin Strikes: Made some visual adjustments to allow players to more accurately trigger effects
- Ugly Bastard Helm: Requires Wrath of the Berserker to activate unique effects
The biggest nerf for Barbarian is Ugly Bastard Helm. This unique helm is one of the most important components of many builds. Previously, its special effect was triggered as long as the Barbarian was Berserking, and this change will reduce the damage of related builds by at least 40%.
Druid Unique Items
- Mjölnic Ryng: Reduced the damage increase during Cataclysm from 40%-100% to 20%-40%
Although only one unique item of Druid was nerfed, this nerf feels like an enormous blow to Cataclysm Druids. With Overpower and Mjölnic Ryng both nerfed, the damage cap of Cataclysm Druid in Season 9 will be greatly reduced.
However, there is also good news for Druid, the damage of some of his skills has been greatly enhanced.
Necromancer Unique Items
- Bloodless Scream: Removed the Lucky Hit effect, and changed to cause fear and freezing to the surrounding ground after 800 attacks.
- Deathless Visage: Echo damage is reduced to half of the original.
- Indira’s Memory: Damage bonus is reduced to half of the original.
Necromancer is a class that relies more on Overpower. After its nerf, its overall strength is definitely not as good as before. The few unique items nerfed in Season 9 are more common in Necromancer builds, but the next season will further enhance Necromancer as a summoner build, so if you plan to farm Diablo 4 gold, Necromancer is still one of the best classes.
Rogue Unique Items
- Eaglehorn: Penetrating Shot, no longer penetrates walls but bounces back.
- Eyes in the Dark: Death Trap damage increased by 50%, but this unique effect has a 10s CD added to it.
Rogue has not changed much overall. Some of its skills have been enhanced, but Passive and Legendary Aspects have been weakened. Although Eyes in the Dark has increased damage, the 10s CD added also causes Rogue’s combat rhythm to slow down.
Sorcerer Unique Items
- Esu’s Heirloom: Reduced all elemental resistance by 2%.
- Fractured Winterglass: Reduced all elemental resistance from 10.0 - 12.0% to 8.0 - 10.0%.
Sorcerer has had some skills slightly improved in Season 9, with Lightning Spear having a significant damage increase. Lightning Spear Sorcerer build will undoubtedly be stronger until in Season 9.
Other skills have had their damage capped or have had their triggering changed, which has weakened Sorcerer a bit.
Spiritborn Unique Items
- Sepazontec: Reduced the damage of unique items by 20%.
Spiritborn was a bit forgotten in Season 9. Spiritborn is very fast, which is a significant advantage when exploring dungeons and can farm quickly, but Rogue also has this advantage.
Spiritborn didn’t change much in Season 9, and even if it was remembered, it was just a nerf. Whether Spiritborn can surpass Season 8 in Season 9 depends on whether it can effectively use Horadric Spells.
After losing Boss Powers, most classes in Season 9 have been nerfed a lot. Which classes can overcome the impact of the nerf and become the best class in Season 9, and we have to continue to observe in Season 9 PTR.

Diablo 4 Second Anniversary ...
Dear wanderers, it has been two years since the release of Diablo 4 in June 2023. Since last year’s anniversary event was very lively, this year’s event is naturally not far behind. To celebrate the second anniversary of Diablo 4, the developers launched a new Event Reliquary and returned to Mother’s Blessing Event, bringing a massive experience value boost! From June 3rd to the 17th, you will get more Diablo 4 gold and XP drops, and win new special accessories that can only be obtained in Anniversary Event Reliquary. Here, we will take a look at what rewards this two-year anniversary event brings and talk about what we think of this reward. Event Rewards Anniversary Reliquary First of all, for this anniversary reliquary, if you like accessories and like to get them for free, I think it is still worth participating. Because during the event, you can claim the entire Event Reliquary for free, or more precisely, you can get all the items for just 150,000 gold - all the items in it add up to 150,000 gold. Unlike the recent Berserk crossover event, this event does not require players to spend any additional special currency or paid tokens. Players can unlock these cosmetic items directly using Diablo 4 gold. To be honest, this is a rare thing in Diablo 4, because almost all cosmetic items in the game have been obtained through drops, reputation rewards, or in the in-game store using the game’s premium currency Platinum. Maybe this really breaks my stereotype that Diablo 4 developers are just looking to make money! Just kidding! There are a total of 8 accessories for players to collect in this 2nd Anniversary Event Reliquary, but please note that if you have already obtained the following accessories, you will automatically unlock Burning Dawn Mount Armor and complete Reliquary. Sunflame Lantern Mount Trophy Burning Dawn Banner Mount Trophy Sunraiser Sword Cosmetic Sunflame Sword Two-Handed Sword Cosmetic Burning Barbs Polearm Cosmetic Burning Dawn Bow Cosmetic Mother’s Blessing In addition to Anniversary Reliquary, Mother’s Blessing XP and gold boost event from previous years will also return, and this time it will also bring additional rewards. In addition to receiving 35% more XP and 50% more gold during the event, players can also get additional Collection of Chaos Whisper Cache by turning in Grim Favors, which can obtain more items and materials. If you can seize this opportunity, you may be able to overtake in Season 8 and accumulate more advantages entering the next season. What Do You Think Of This Event? Now that we have talked about the rewards, are the rewards of this event really worth your time? Positive Review First of all, I have to say that being able to exchange gold for cosmetic items is a welcome new feature. After all, the previous disastrous Berserk crossover event rewards were ridiculous, and you had to pay $25 for each cosmetic item. Many players thought that was completely unreasonable. Therefore, this change may be that the developers have finally learned a little from their past mistakes. Hopefully, the developers will make more use of this feature in the future. Since most players probably have a lot of idle gold, it seems natural to let them actually spend it. Negative Review However, more disappointment is still in the rewards of this event. To be honest, season 8 was terrible for all of us, and players often expressed concerns about the lack of content in Diablo 4 and its aggressive monetization strategy. Therefore, the developers do plan to bring more content to players in this new 2nd Anniversary event, thus addressing the complaints that often appear in the community. What they did add some mount skins and weapon skins to the Reliquary system to help players collect cosmetic elements, and hopefully continue to provide regular free content updates for their action RPG. This update does make sense, but I don’t understand why, 2nd Anniversary should be a big celebration, a milestone for the game, but it feels the opposite. Compared to last year’s anniversary, this year feels very bland. While exchanging gold for items is better than boring goblin events or something, I still hope there will be an event that does something cool instead of just some free event-exclusive items. For these cosmetics, if you always have a lot of extra gold accumulated, you can probably get all of them faster than I can pronounce their names. The only thing to note is that you have to claim them before June 17th, what a joke! After all, you only need a few seconds to complete the event. Besides the cosmetics, the return of Mother’s Blessing event is probably the only good thing about this anniversary. Maybe after claiming the rewards, everything will return to the mundane regular farming, which is meaningless. Anyway, I just wanted to share my opinion that to me this Anniversary Reliquary doesn't feel like a celebration at all, and the bland, easy-to-get cosmetics don't really add anything exciting to the game progression. What do you think of this 2nd Anniversary event? See you next time!Jun-03-2025

Diablo 4 Season 7 Rogue Lev ...
In Diablo 4, there are six classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Spiritborn, Sorcerer and Rogue. Compared with other classes, Rogue has a short attack range and low defense. The only outstanding feature is that Rogue has good mobility. Rogue players can focus on melee combat or combine melee and ranged combat. But in any case, this requires a certain level of proficiency. Rogue builds can play a reliable role in all aspects, but because Rogue’s defense is not high, it is possible to be surrounded by monsters and killed by the enemy if you are not careful. Therefore, for Rogue players, the experience in the early stage of the game is different from that of other classes. Even if it is not a strong Sorcerer, Sorcerer’s Firewall can ensure that he can deal with monsters in a safe area and easily obtain gold, materials, gem fragments and other resources from the enemy. Therefore, the following will introduce how to level Rogue quickly. Skills If Rogue wants to level up quickly, the main idea is to rely on AOE skills to clear monsters quickly. Therefore, the following Rogue Leveling Build is recommended for you: Twisting Blades Rogue Dual Core Rapid Fire Flurry Rogue Penetrating Shot Rogue Dance of Knives Rogue Barrage Rogue The basic skill recommended for players to choose for Rogue is Puncture. Puncture allows your throwing knives to fly a not too far distance, but in any case this extends your attack range, and more importantly, it can slow down the opponent in the third attack. This allows Rogue to contain monsters and always stays within a safe range. The basic skill, Fundamental Puncture, is a perfect improvement to Puncture, which allows Rogue’s throwing knives to hit more enemies. This can greatly improve your efficiency in farming monsters. Whether it is Leveling or farming Diablo 4 Gold, you can’t do without this skill. Barrage is the core skill that Rogue should choose. Players need to improve the rank of Barrage as much as possible, which may allow Rogue to fire multiple arrows at a time. At the same time, these arrows have a chance to rebound after hitting the enemy. Barrage has different enhancement options. At the beginning, players can choose Advanced Barrage, which can give you a higher chance of hitting a critical strike. After you gain Precision skill, the enhancement skill can be switched to Improved Barrage. This skill allows the player’s third attack to make the monster Vulnerable. Shadow Step and Dash are the mobility skills that Rogue should choose. Dash can slow down the enemy being hit and can also cause some damage to them. When Rogue uses Shadow Step, he can quickly move behind the opponent, which is conducive to Rogue make a lot of damage. There is no order in which these two skills should be learned. Their main function is to avoid some particularly large damage and allow Rogue to move to a safe position. Shadow Imbuement and Cold Imbuement are active skills that Rogue needs to point out. The cooldown of these two skills is not long, and you can use them in rotation. For both skills, you only need to set them to Rank 1, but you still need to make additional enhancements to them. Also Read: How To Get Dorian Pet Which Has Special Season-Specific In Diablo 4 Season 7? Witch Powers Rogue is very good at debuffing enemies, so there are many Witch Powers that work well with Rogue. You can choose from the following Witch Powers: Hex of Shattering Hex of Flames Aura Specialization Aura of Siphoning In Season 7, players can carry 6 different Witch Powers for their characters, divided into 1 unique Witch Power and 5 ordinary Witch Powers. In addition to Witch Powers mentioned above, players can freely combine them. Equipment In order to leveling up quickly, Rogue’s equipment selection needs to consider whether it can cause AOE damage to monsters or hit more enemies. Other equipment can be simplified, but for Rogue who needs to level up quickly, Aspect of Branching Volleys is an indispensable weapon. Aspect of Branching Volleys can increase the chance of arrow splitting by 30% to 60% and also increase the chance of arrow rebound by 50% to 80%! This weapon can greatly increase your efficiency in farming gold or clearing monsters. To get Aspect of Branching Volleys, you need to go to Shadowed Plunge Dungeon in Hawezar, and after completing this dungeon, unlock Codex of Power. Then you can get it. For other equipment, you need to pay attention to the properties of the items. In the early stages of the game, you don’t have so many ways to slow down enemies and move quickly, so equipment selection can focus on improving defense. After you have some basic skills, you can choose equipment that improves agility, movement speed, maximum health, attack speed, and armor. But be careful not to rush into the monster group rogue rashly. After all, Rogue does not have the defense of the Barbarian. After you have all the key skills, equipment selection needs to focus on choosing effects such as reducing cooldown time and increasing skill damage. The above is how Rogue should choose the right skills and equipment in the early game. Rogue is a class that requires proficiency. It may be a bit difficult to deal with monsters in the early stages of the game, but after Rogue level is increased and you already have some good equipment, your Rogue will be very fast in clearing monsters. At the same time, Rogue can also impose various debuffs on the enemy, so it is very popular in the team.Feb-05-2025

Diablo 4 Season 6: How To F ...
In October this year, with the simultaneous release of Vessel of Hatred expansion and Season 6, Diablo 4 has further optimized all aspects of the game, which can not only enhance your combat experience but also bring new possibilities to all classes in the game. As for Barbarian class, there are many builds available in Season 6, but Rend Barbarian Build is undoubtedly one of the most competitive and can be a powerful assistant for you to accumulate Diablo 4 Gold. Based on this, we will introduce you to the precautions for using this build from multiple aspects. Overview Of Rend Barbarian Build The biggest difference between this build and many other builds in Diablo 4 Season 6 is that it relies more on increased damage generated over time rather than directly causing damage to the enemy. Therefore, when using Rend Barbarian Build, you need to pay special attention to the type of damage scaling. The key to using this build is to find ways to increase critical hits and vulnerable damage bonuses. Additionally, Hemorrhage Paragon node increases the amount of bleeding you deal to enemies based on your vulnerability damage bonus, and Gushing Wounds key passive increases bleeding based on your critical hit damage. And as a bonus to this key passive, every time you deal a critical hit, you deal 70% more bleeding. Suitable Skills In Season 6, you will have approximately 72 skill points available with the new level 60 cap and grinding renown to invest in the skills needed to use Rend Barbarian Build. There are many active and passive skills that Barbarian can use in the game. The following are some of the more suitable ones: Active skills: Flay-Enhanced: 1 Rend-Enhanced, Violent: 5 Challenging Shout-Enhanced: 1 Rallying Cry-Enhanced, Strategic: 1 War Cry-Enhanced, Power: 1 Rupture-Enhanced, Warriors: 1 Steel Grasp-Enhanced, Fighter’s: 1 Call of the Ancients-Prime, Supreme: 5 Passive skills: Warpath: 3 Pressure Point: 1 Martial Vigour: 3 Imposing Presence: 3 Raid Leader: 3 Booming Voice: 3 Guttural Yell: 3 Aggressive Resistance: 3 Pit Fighter: 3 Slaying Strike: 3 Cut to the Bone: 3 Thick Skin: 1 Counteroffensive: 3 Concussion: 2 Wallop: 3 Gushing Wounds: Key Passive Best Skill Rotation Order When using Rend Barbarian Build in a serious encounter, it is recommended to release the appropriate skills according to a fixed order: Rallying Cry Challenging Shout Steel Grasp Rupture Rend Rupture Call of the Ancients First, when entering the encounter, you can make full use of the buffs of Shout skill and thus activate Berserking. After these effects take effect, you can then pop Steel Grasp to attract enemies and make them vulnerable, which also creates a lot of synergies that can bring benefits. Once you have the above settings and there are enough enemies nearby, cast Rupture immediately. Combined with active Shout, equipment and some passive skills, you will start resource generation and use Rend smoothly. And using Rend heavily can make all enemies nearby bleed heavily. After you use Rupture as much as possible, you can also use Rupture again to deal with explosive damage. In addition, you can use Call of the Ancients on its cooldown to deal with a lot of damage. And because of the reduced cooldown, your Shout skill and Rupture will also reset frequently. Earthquake of Tec rune will increase your damage output. Best Arsenal Setup As a Barbarian-exclusive buff mechanism in Diablo 4, you can use Arsenal to assign different weapons to different skills. In addition, it can also trigger passive skills or legendary buffs, which reward you for swapping weapons. It is worth noting that using a specific type of weapon will further affect the passive enhancement of that weapon. For Rend Barbarian Build, we recommend that you assign all attack skills to dual-wield weapons. For example, with a sword and a mace, you will get additional damage and attack speed bonuses, can hit those controlled enemies more accurately, and increase the chance of outputting damage and frenzy to stunned enemies. You can also add specific weapon types to your tech slots and apply their buffs to all of your weapons. For Rend Barbarian Build, we also recommend the two-handed axe, which makes all of your attacks deal more damage to vulnerable enemies, which goes well with this build. Best Paragon Boards & Glyphs Once you reach level 60 in Diablo 4 Season 6, skill points become a thing of the past, and Paragon points will help you continue to level up. In fact, Paragon system helps you choose upgrades from themed boards loaded with buffs, and each path is unique. So you can completely tweak this build with specific boards and glyphs to make yourself get a unique Rend Barbarian Build. As for the specific Paragon board’s progress, we recommend that you unlock them in the following order: Starting Board Blood Rage Warbringer Decimator Hemorrhage After determining Paragon board, you can choose the following Paragon glyphs for Rend Barbarian Build and match them with the corresponding Paragon board: Rumble Level 100 (Starting Board) Ambidextrous Level 100 (Blood Rage) Wrath Level 100 (Warbringer) Challenger Level 100 (Decimator) Ire Level 100 (Hemorrhage) How To Choose Mercenaries? I believe you will find that the mercenary mechanism introduced in DLC is an indispensable part of the build. For Rend Barbarian Build, as with most other Barbarian builds, Raheir should be your first choice of mercenary. Raheir has Ground Slam and Bastion which gives you both offensive and defensive buffs, with the bonus of slowing down enemies, making it harder for them to escape from your Rupture explosions. As for the second mercenary, I believe Aldkin would be the best choice for this build as a reinforcement. His Field of Languish to Steel Grasp can be bound to slow down enemies and reduce the damage of enemies you pull inward. If you want to increase the power of this build, you can pay more attention to the game giveaway information in iGMeet Discord to get some good equipment. Good luck!Dec-19-2024

Diablo 4 DLC: How To Choose ...
Diablo 4 DLC Vessel of Hatred has been launched for a while now, and most players must have explored most of the mechanisms and content in the expansion. On this basis, you will definitely not be unfamiliar with the mercenary mechanism. As an important mechanism in Diablo 4 DLC, mercenaries can serve as effective auxiliary NPCs to help players fight. They have their own unique skills and specialties, which can help players deal with different enemies and combat scenarios. Although unlocking them requires Diablo 4 Gold and some slightly complicated steps, their value is worth it. There are 4 mercenaries in Vessel of Hatred, namely Raheir, Aldkin, Varyana and Subo. Players can choose and unlock up to 2 of them as their helpers in the game. Although the system will not limit your choice, you must want to choose as powerful or suitable mercenaries as possible. Based on this, we have ranked these four mercenaries from low to high according to their specific performance in Vessel of Hatred for players’ reference and selection. 4. Aldkin Before the mercenary mechanism was officially launched, Aldkin was anticipated because of his interesting design. Unfortunately, his performance in actual combat was not outstanding. His main skill, Blasphemous Fate, allows him to transform into a demon for 22 seconds and gives him new abilities. However, during his transformation, not only nearby enemies but also your game character will become vulnerable, and then consume your resources when you cause damage to the enemy. And his transformation is random. So if these problems cannot be optimized, then using Aldkin will be a bit of a loss. Even if the build or skills you use in battle do not depend on the amount of resources, Aldkin is still unsatisfactory as a companion. Although his Flame Surge skill tree has a chance to cause high damage to the enemy, when facing the higher level Torment difficulty, the damage he outputs is even far less than your own output. Aldkin does get some pleasant benefits in Haunt skill tree, such as daze, slow or stun, which debuff enemies, but other mercenaries can do similar things. Aldkin may be effective in the early game, but his equipment lacks practicality and his overall potential is low, which makes him the lowest ranking of the four mercenaries. 3. Varyana Varyana’s core skill Massacre allows both your game character and Varyana to stack massacres when killing enemies, and gain additional movement speed bonuses when stacking to a certain level. This effect can be stacked up to 100 times, at which point the movement speed can even increase by 20%. If you are using a Build or Class with poor mobility and lack of speed, the benefits provided by Varyana’s skills are undoubtedly helpful. But if you already have strong mobility, Varyana is not the best choice among mercenaries for you. In Varyana’s Cleave skill tree, she can bleed enemies, giving you another attack speed buff, and applying vulnerability, or a debuff that reduces the amount of damage dealt to nearby enemies. In her Shockwave skill tree, Varyana knocks down enemies multiple times, giving you different combat bonuses by knocking down those she controls. But no matter which skill tree, Varyana is still more focused on enhancing the player’s mobility rather than damage output. Although both skill trees provide enough utility, if you need a mercenary with stronger damage, Varyana is relatively ordinary. However, if you are mainly lacking in movement speed or mobility skills, you can definitely add her to your team. 2. Subo From a practical point of view, Subo is very similar to Varyana, and he can also provide players with some damage, crowd control and other buffs. However, what makes Subo special is his main skill Seeker. This skill marks all nearby enemies and game materials on the minimap. Every 20 seconds Subo will mark a random enemy, and killing a marked enemy will help you restore 50% of your resources and reduce the cooldown of Seeker by 10 seconds. This skill is very useful if you want to farm Diablo 4 Gold or other game materials during Helltide. In fact, no matter which mercenary, they are not designed as helpers for damage output, so their usefulness depends on how much they help in providing support. Whether it is other buffs or the help provided by Seeker skills, Subo has become the second-ranked mercenary. Of course, Subo is not completely unable to provide damage buffs. For example, his Wire Trap skill tree provides slowing, knocking down and immobilization effects, while Molotov series has slowing, knocking down and increasing continuous damage effects. And if you hire him while playing a Poison or Bleed-based Build, the effect will be even better. 1. Raheir Raheir is currently the most powerful mercenary in Diablo 4 DLC Vessel of Hatred. He can provide players with considerable damage reduction effects, as well as healing, enhancements, and debuffs. He can be said to be a powerful mercenary because he is very comprehensive. His main skill, Valiance, has a great support effect. When you take damage that reaches 15% of your current health, Raheir’s skill will offset the damage you take and knock down nearby enemies, while you will be invincible on the battlefield for 0.5 seconds. In addition, most of Raheir’s skills in both skill trees have certain practical or support effects. For example, his shield charge line can bring you a variety of benefits such as strengthening, deceleration, additional armor, damage reduction taunts, and which ones you can get depends on the specific skills you choose. This makes Raheir’s practicality shocking, easily surpassing other mercenaries and becoming the first. The above is our ranking of the four mercenaries based on their overall performance. Of course, the ranking is just a reference. In actual combat, players need to make a comprehensive choice based on their own needs and situations to select the mercenary that suits them best. In addition, if you want to know more about Diablo 4 DLC content, you can enter iGMeet Discord to communicate with others.
