Diablo 4 Season 9 Astaroth Boss Battle Strategies: How To Defeat This Returning Boss?
Astaroth debuts as a boss in Season 9, but unlike other lair bosses, in order to defeat it, we must complete Escalation Nightmare, which is also a new endgame mechanism added in the new season.
How To Find Astaroth?
In this dungeon connected by 3 Nightmares, we must continue to advance in order to encounter the new Astaroth boss at the end.
Get Sigils
The first step is to get Escalation Nightmare Dungeon Sigil. These new Sigils can only be obtained by completing Horadric Strongrooms.
However, the spawn rate of Horadric Strongrooms is very high, and in addition to Sigil, this is also a great way for you to get all Arcanas and even recipes for making jewels.
After you get some new Sigils, you’ll notice that they have several affixes similar to the ones we find in normal Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, but we also get new affixes, and basically they either make enemies more deadly or make you weaker. So read the description of the Sigil before opening it, choose the one you think is best and go for it.
Run Escalating Nightmares
Season 9 has been really fun so far, and Escalating Nightmares is one of the main reasons why. This activity is very similar to Infernal Hordes, so if you liked Infernal Hordes, you’ll enjoy it too.
The way Escalating Nightmares works is that when you open a dungeon, it has a few affixes that are more challenging than a normal Nightmare Dungeon, and these affixes keep stacking, which is why each new dungeon becomes more challenging.
I think this idea is great, because not only can you get a ton of Diablo 4 gold, gems, materials, and most importantly XP with one dungeon key, but they’re also fun in their own right.
Once you reach Tier 3, the rest is up to your luck, and things can get pretty crazy at times.
Other Tips
Last but not least, here are a few things I think are important to note when running Escalation Nightmare Dungeons:
- Treat these dungeons like you would The Pit, and don’t forget to use Elixirs and Incenses to farm more efficiently.
- Depending on which Torment difficulty level you’re in, you’ll have access to different Tempered gear and quality gems.
- If you die, you can always go back to town to repair, so you don’t have to stress about it, it just costs you some D4 gold.
- Never stop moving, some affixes will cause monsters to constantly spawn, so even checking your inventory or allocating some Paragon points can cause you to die unexpectedly at any time.
- It’s important to upgrade resistances, especially poison resistance. Because, especially at Tier 3, sometimes elite monsters can be very deadly for this reason, and this is also important when dealing with Astaroth boss.
Astaroth Battle Strategies
Once you have successfully cleared 3 dungeons, the final portal will open, which will take you into Astaroth’s Lair.
Once you arrive, you will find him standing on top of Amalgam of Rage, which we know is the first phase of the battle.
Amalgam of Rage will breathe fire from each of his heads at you, while Astaroth can summon meteors and indicate where they will fall in a split second.
If that wasn’t enough, Amalgam of Rage will jump on you to deal fatal damage. The only way to avoid this attack is to teleport as soon as you see it, and to set up some kind of fortification or barrier and maintain it as long as possible.
Once you have done enough damage to Amalgam of Rage, it will begin to regenerate in a pool of blood and venom. Honestly, I think this pool is very similar to the one that Lord Zir can spawn, so basically don’t touch it.
At this point, Astaroth will fight you, and you have one goal, which is to kill Astaroth before Amalgam of Rage regenerates, otherwise you will have to face them both at the same time.
Astaroth will continue to throw meteors at you, as well as some waves of fire that circle around the edge of the arena. So why is it throwing at this specific location, you might ask? This is because as Amalgam of Rage regenerates, the blood pool will continue to expand, and when it reaches its maximum size, there will be nowhere to escape. Combined with Astaroth’s attacks, it’s simply terrifying.
Remember that the poison in the pool has high damage, so the moment you enter the pool, it’s almost game over.
If Amalgam of Rage revives, try to focus your fire on Astaroth, because he has more health than Amalgam of Rage, so you want to drain his health as much as possible. This way, the next time after Amalgam of Rage dies, you can definitely kill Astaroth. Of course, if you want to do it the other way around, it may be possible, but it will definitely take longer.
All in all, defeating Astaroth isn’t that hard compared to other bosses like Andariel or Harbinger of Hatred, but timing is crucial. Regardless, Astaroth is a significant source of boss materials and gear in Season 9, so it’s definitely worth spending some time farming it!

Diablo 4 Season 9 Horadric ...
The developers of Diablo 4 have always been very fond of adding some additional socketing systems, from ordinary gems to Occult gems in Season 7. In Season 9, they have added new gems again, Horadric Jewels. Horadric Jewels are obviously used to complement Horadric Spells. Some of them can enhance Horadric Spells, some can enhance your summons, or elemental damage, but some of them have negative effects. So in terms of practicality, which Horadric Jewels are better? How To Get Horadric Jewels? Horadric Jewels in Diablo 4 Season 9 can be made at Wayfinders after learning the recipe of Horadric Tomes. You can find Horadric Tomes in Horadric Strongrooms by exploring the nightmare dungeons on Torment 1 and higher. Making these Jewels requires Gem Fragments and Horadric Phials. Horadric Phials differ from Diablo 4 gold, it is a currency that can only be used in Season 9. In summary, the process is as follows: 1. Find and complete Horadric Strongrooms in a Torment 1 or higher Nightmare dungeon, and get Horadric Tomes and Horadric Phials. 2. Learn the crafting recipe of Horadric Jewels in Horadric Tomes. 3 Use the learned recipe and collected materials to craft Horadric Jewels at Wayfinders. After you make these jewels, you can embed them in your amulets and rings. Horadric Jewels Ranking You know that not these Horadric Jewels are useful. Some of them will be very popular and almost every build can use them, while some may not be used for an entire Season. Here is a simple ranking of these 15 Horadric Jewels. Tier S Horadric Jewels are more versatile and powerful in most builds. Tier A Jewels are powerful in some specific builds, while Tier B Jewels are not recommended. Tier S Seal of Power When you equip two or more School of Power Arcanas, you gain movement speed and critical strike chance. Scornful Light You deal 1/5 more elemental damage and receive 1/10 more elemental damage. Idol From Below You gain 6% primary attribute, 8% maximum health, and are always unhindered. However, you will be hunted by the buried gem guardians in the darkest places of Sanctuary, who are buried to protect this relic. Reverie Horn After you damage or kill an enemy, your summons will be strengthened, and become larger and dealing 30% more damage over 4 seconds. In Tier S, Idol From Below provides stat bonuses, and most importantly, makes you unstoppable, which is very important, as it allows you to keep your flow in a dungeon or The Pit uninterrupted. Its negative effect can be considered a positive effect for players, as more monsters mean more Diablo 4 gold and items. Reverie Horn should be placed in Tier A, but Season 9 not only buffs Necromancer, but also, importantly, brings Hydra Sorcerer build. If this build is not nerfed, it will definitely be the most popular build in Season 9, and Reverie Horn can bring buffs to Hydra. Tier A Seal of Control When you equip two or more control Arcanas, gain at least 45% longer control duration and 30% increased lucky hits. Seal of Denial When you equip two or more Arcanas from School of Denial, gain 30% more Barrier, Reinforcement, and Thorns. Horadric Crest For each Arcana of a different School you equip, gain 5% damage reduction and 1% maximum all elemental resistances Tyrant Bane After you deal sustained damage to an enemy, they are permanently affected by 0.33% of your sustained damage. Myriad Stone After casting a Catalyst skill, if it is an Ultimate skill, gain 30% attack speed for 10 seconds. Luminate Eye Your Catalyst skills gain an additional quarter cooldown reduction. Elemental Brand Your Catalyst skills deal damage equal to one-third of your Infusions’ element over 3 seconds. Lucky Hit: Dealing damage equal to your Infusions’ element has up to a one-third chance to trigger its secondary effect. Some players believe that Tyrant Bane should be in Tier S, and it indeed has great potential. If it can really stack infinitely, then it is undoubtedly a Horadric Jewel that most builds should carry. But the developers will probably make some restrictions on it, so it may not be as good as we think. Tier B Liminal Echo (Hardcore Tier S, Normal Tier B) If you would take fatal damage, avoid it instead, activate the boost, and gain 3 seconds of invincibility. This effect can only happen once every 75 seconds. Spark of Creation After casting a Catalyst skill, gain 10 Primary Resources. Brilliant Sigil Your Infusions are 150% more effective. The Starflux Your Catalyst deals 100% more damage. However, you lose control of Horadric Spells, causing your Catalyst Infusions to become random. B Tier is Horadric Jewels, which you can ignore. The Starflux can greatly increase the damage of Catalyst skills, but it will randomize Infusions, which is not a good thing for players, because players’ builds are basically dependent on a specific element, and such randomness may cause your DPS to drop. Horadric Jewels are Diablo 4 items that you can only get in the endgame, and for most players, they only care about which Jewels are the best. So if you just want to increase your damage, then you can just farm Tier S Horadric Jewels as your goal.Jun-23-2025

Diablo 4 DLC: What New Cont ...
We are entering the middle of a season and most hardcore players have finished their battle passes and seasonal chapters. In a recent developer chat, the developers revealed that they are working to introduce a series of new features to attract old players who may have been confused or alienated by the large number of changes the game has undergone since launch. This guide will provide a detailed introduction to these upcoming updates. Welcome Back Pack Starting on November 19th, when you first play Diablo 4 Eternal Realm, you will have the option to create a brand new character and instantly increase your level to level 50 by using Welcome Back pack. For those who haven’t played the game since launch, this may not sound like a new thing. But it is worth noting that Diablo 4 now has a maximum level cap of 60, rather than the original 100. Therefore, this benefit is very attractive to old players who want to catch up quickly. In addition, although all the equipment you have obtained before will still remain in your account, because of the reform of the item classification mechanism, many items obtained earlier may no longer be applicable or even marked as legacy items. In order to help everyone better integrate into the current game environment, the Welcome Back pack also includes an entire set of new legendary items. These gears are carefully crafted based on one of the three most powerful builds for your chosen class, ensuring you can face the challenges ahead in the best possible condition without having to buy Diablo 4 Gold. In addition, the character of each returning player will automatically unlock the complete skill tree and Altars of Lilith by default. These changes will make the entire game experience smoother and more enjoyable. And you will also be able to obtain the following items: 1 million gold 1000 Obols 1 Scroll of Amnesia Crafting materials To upgrade your character, players can go to the city of Kyovashad and interact with Fated Reliquary in the city to unlock. If you already have an Eternal character that has reached level 50, after completing this step, you can still obtain precious legendary items and exclusive build options for the profession you play. In addition, if you also own the Vessel of Hatred expansion, this powerful upgrade will allow you to upgrade two characters at the same time in Eternal Realm. Let you enjoy a higher level of game content and challenges. Play Spiritborn Class For Free The development team announced that from November 19th to December 2nd, all players who do not yet own Vessel of Hatred can try the newly launched Spiritborn for free and upgrade their characters to the maximum level 25. If you finally decide to get Vessel of Hatred expansion during this period, all the progress you have made in the game before will be retained. This free trial event provides a great opportunity for players to try this new class, feel its unique skill tree and how it fits into the existing game environment. In addition, this also allows players who are hesitant to return to Diablo 4 to have enough time to evaluate whether they really like this new content before deciding whether it is worth paying for it. It should be noted that according to current information, this event is only supported through Battle.net platform, so users who use host devices or run the game on Steam may not participate in this special event. Red-Cloaked Horror Starting at 1pm ET on November 19th and ending at 1pm ET on December 3rd, Red-Cloaked Horror will reappear in Helltide. Players may encounter it in Hellborne, Infernal Hordes and dungeons. You can use a sled to drag it to obtain Cinders, Burning Aether and other bonus items, depending on where you encounter it. In addition, after successfully defeating Red-Cloaked Horror, you will also receive a Gileon’s Brew. This elixir not only increases your damage to all enemies by 20% but also makes defeated enemies drop herbs and other crafting materials more frequently, while increasing your experience by 15%. In order to allow all participants to enjoy the fun of this festival, the official has also arranged a special welfare link - as long as you log in to the game and go to Midwinter Square in Kyovashad during the event, you can receive a unique onetime gift package. Mothers Blessing Events Mother’s Blessing event will run from November 19th to November 26th, and all players who participate will enjoy multiplicative experience and gold acquisition speed bonuses, which can be used in combination with other buffs. For example, the aforementioned Gileon’s Brew, obtained by defeating Red-Cloaked Horror. Diablo 4 DLC: What Are The ...
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred brings players a brand new adventure, not only deepening the game’s story background but also greatly enriching the game’s content by introducing the character of Neyrelle and her exploration journey in Nahantu jungle. In addition, the expansion also adds a very powerful profession - Spiritborn, which has attracted the attention of many players with its unique skills and combat style. Vessel of Hatred has also made a lot of optimizations and improvements to the basic game experience, making the whole game smoother and more attractive. However, besides the obvious changes mentioned above, Vessel of Hatred has quietly added three new monster families, bringing players an unprecedented challenge experience. The three newly added monsters are Hollows, Dregs, and Lacuni. Although Lacuni is not a completely unfamiliar existence, it has made a brief appearance in the previous game. Read this guide to learn more about each new monster family. Hollows The birth of Hollows is closely related to Neyrelle’s adventure. As Neyrelle travels deep into the mysterious jungles of Nahantu, she accidentally touches Mephisto’s soul stone and is burned by the powerful corruption it emanates. In an attempt to ease the pain, she dips her injured hand and soul stone into water in an attempt to cool them down. However, this action has an unexpected consequence, as Mephisto’s corruption quickly spreads across the entire Nahantu region. Over time, this black, tar-like corruption gradually coalesces and forms into Hollows. These creatures, made of corrupt matter, are numerous and extremely aggressive, and they begin to pose a great threat to the people and cities in the surrounding area. Players will first encounter this new family of monsters shortly after meeting Raheir. With such powerful and strange enemies, it may be a good idea to obtain more Diablo 4 Gold to equip your character faster. Dregs Another new family of monsters that attracts attention are Dregs. Unlike other creatures in the game, Dregs are not born monsters, but are actually once humans. These unfortunate souls were driven into a state of uncontrollable psychosis by tasting a hallucinogen found in Nahantu’s flora and fauna. Over time, these once normal humans gradually lost their minds and became one enemy that players face in the game today. They roam the deep jungles of Nahantu and have become a threat that cannot be ignored. Lacuni Lacuni are the only creatures that are familiar to veteran players of the series. However, this race has undergone significant changes throughout the development of Diablo series, and has undergone major adjustments and evolutions in both appearance and combat style, making their return a familiar and fresh experience for players. Lacuni are highly intelligent and aggressive feline bipedal creatures, commonly referred to as “Panther-men” or “Sabre Cats.” Lacuni social structure is similar to the group model of lions, showing the characteristics of a patriarchal society. In this system, male Lacuni are usually more robust and stronger, which makes them naturally take on the role of leaders in the tribe. In contrast, female Lacuni have shown excellent hunting skills and become an indispensable female hunter within the family. The origins of Lacuni can be traced back to Kehjistan, where they originally maintained a relatively harmonious relationship with humans. There was frequent exchange of goods between the two races, forming a mutually beneficial situation. However, the good times did not last long. As time went by, especially around Darkening of Tristram, because of some unknown reasons, the relationship between the two sides deteriorated sharply, and Lacuni began to show strong hostility towards the surrounding world. Since then, this once friendly race has gradually developed into one of the most well-known and threatening existences in Diablo series. In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, this classic monster family appears again. This time they appear in Teganze Plateau area of the new Nahantu region. Here, Lacuni will not only use traditional melee weapons to attack but also use long-range means such as javelins and throwing grenades to fight against players who dare to enter their territory. It is worth noting that Lacuni first appeared in Diablo 2, and it is particularly appropriate that they return this time and become one of the main enemies of Nahantu - because Nahantu is also one map that was first introduced to the game world in Diablo 2. This design consistency not only enhances the consistency of the storyline of the entire series but also makes old players feel familiar, while also attracting new players to explore more about the story behind this world. By introducing these new monster families, Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred not only provides players with a richer and more diverse gaming experience but also deepens the game’s story background and worldview. Hollows, Dregs, and Lacuni each have unique background stories and combat styles. Their existence not only increases the complexity and challenge of the game but also brings new exploration fun to players. In order to defeat them more easily, you can follow Giveaway channel in iGMeet discord, which will release information about Diablo 4 related products from time to time. Remember to be active in the discord group.Nov-04-2024

Blizzard has unveiled the theme for Diablo 4's Season 2: Season of Blood, set to coincide with Halloween. This chilling season introduces vampiric powers and exciting gameplay mechanics. Let's delve into what's new and when it arrives. Release Date and Season Format Diablo 4 Season 2, known as the Season of Blood, is scheduled to kick off on October 17, 2023. Following the established pattern of Diablo seasons, it will last approximately three months, providing unique themes, quests, and mechanics tailored for that period. Vampiric Abilities and Storyline The central theme of Season 2 is vampires. Players will gain vampiric powers to combat the menacing vampire threat that has emerged to threaten Sanctuary. The story revolves around an NPC companion, Erys, voiced by Gemma Chan, who is a vampire hunter. Erys seeks aid in confronting the invading vampire forces. Players must harness their newfound vampiric abilities to help her track down a powerful vampire lord, putting an end to this dark menace. Battle Pass and Rewards While details about Season 2's Battle Pass remain under wraps, it is expected to follow a similar structure to Season 1. The Season 1 Battle Pass offered both free and premium tracks, with various cosmetics and rewards. However, Season 1 faced criticism for underwhelming cosmetics and rewards, including the presence of Platinum, an in-game currency, in the pass. Blizzard may address these concerns in Season 2 to better cater to the community. Gameplay Mechanic Updates Season 2 of Diablo 4 will bring permanent quality-of-life updates that respond to community feedback. These include enhanced inventory management, a stash search and filter function, adjustments to how Paragon Points and Skill Points carry forward to Seasonal Realm characters, and updates to status effects functionality such as Elemental Resistances and Critical Strike. Character Progression As Season 1 concludes, characters from Seasonal Realms will retain their gear and progress but transition into regular non-Season characters. To partake in the Season of Blood, players will need to create new Seasonal Realm characters, providing an opportunity to explore different classes. The unique Malignant Hearts from Season 1 will vanish, including any socketed Caged Hearts, with sockets being transformed into traditional Gem sockets. Diablo 4 continues its tradition of delivering engaging seasonal content, with Season 2: Season of Blood adding a thrilling vampire narrative and vampiric powers to the mix. Expect this season to bring fresh challenges and rewards when it arrives on October 17, 2023.Sep-19-2023
